-When are they coming? I just sensed Shadow Leo's cosmo fading away, they should be here already!
He was very eager to fight the Demoniac. He thought he was able to defeat them; after all, he was the apprentice of Odin himself.
-There's no way they can defeat the apprentice of a god! I'll surely get a recognition after defeating them -he thought-.
But then he started to remember his training days in Valhalla with Odin.

-Sid! -Odin said-. Come here!
Sid stopped training for a moment, and goes to his master.
-Sid, you have always had great potential... That's why I chose to train you. Now look at you, you've become way stronger than you could've possibly imagined!
-Thanks, master.
-However -Odin added-, I'd like you to pay more attention to your training.  Don't think you've become strong enough, because there's not enough, never. Your powers have no limit, if you set them free for you to use them. Remember that and you'll be able to defeat any adversary.

As he remembered his master, he smiled. Then he went back to the present and stood in the front of the House of Shadow Virgo, waiting for the Demoniac to come.
-At last -he thought-, it's my chance to prove how strong I am.
The Demoniac had reached the entrance of the House. A Demoniac approaches him, very sauntered, and gallant.
-Please excuse us while we pass through your House.
Sid looks at him, blinking. He laughed.
-What?! You're not going to pass this House so easily. Not while I'm standing!
-Then you will not be standing -another Demoniac said-.
-Silence. I, Adonis of Pisces Demoniac, will deal with this kid.
-Again? You've fought twice already!
-I am not a kid! -Sid said.
-That's what kids say.
Sid was starting to get angry.
-You'll pay for this! -He shouted.

Lightning started to come out of Sid's fingers, as he looked at Adonis with hatred.
-Divine Lightning!
The lightning was moving right at Adonis, who did not seem worry about it. He repelled the attack with just one hand. Sid gasped. No one had ever done this to him before.
-Pitiful -Adonis said, in a cruel tone-. I'll show you what's a real attack.
Lots of flowers started to surround him, while he approached Sid.
-What...?
He had overestimated his powers. He was not powerful, not even half as powerful as the Demoniac were. However, that was beginning to lose importance now. He was a Shadow Saint, and his duty was to destroy the evil.
-Lethal Petals!
-Furious Strike! -Sid exclaimed after him.

Both attacks hit the opponent. Adonis was not hurt and his condition overall was good, but his cloth had been affected by the light rays of Sid's attack. Sid, on the other hand, was very injured, and the only thing that kept him from surrendering or dying was his cosmo. His body started to emit a teal glow. Adonis looked at him, with a cruel smile marked in his face.
-I'm surprised.
-You'll be astonished a moment -Sid said.
He ran towards him, at the speed of light. Adonis had prepared himself to attack him back, when Sid jumped. He leapt by pushing Adonis' torso. Sid was now behind him, and ready to use his final attack. He grabbed Adonis by the back. He seemed scared.
-What… What are you doing?!
He had not thought of this possibility. Sid was going to kill both of them.
-I am using my last resource…
-Just surrender, Shadow Virgo -Adonis said-. You'll die because of this.
-It's not about myself anymore... But I have no time to explain this to you… Divine Lightning!

Sid's body had become a source of lightning. Adonis and him were electrified by the light rays. The screams coming from both of them were unbearable for the rest of the Demoniac.
-Let's go, I don't want to watch this anymore.
The Demoniac ran towards the next House. Meanwhile, Adonis and Sid's cloths had been destroyed due to the light rays. Now defenseless, the lightning penetrated their bare skin, and both began to emit light. The rays light up all the area around the House. Everyone in the sanctuary saw what was happening in the House of Shadow Virgo.

At the gates, the saints guarding them for the night looked back and stared at the light coming from the House.
-I hope Sid has dealt with them.
-… I don't know…
-Sure he has! Although, I can't feel his cosmo.
-Shut up and keep your eyes on the entrance -Orestes told them.
-Okay, sorry sir.

The light quickly faded away. Sid had defeated Adonis using until his last bit of cosmo. Both of them were on the ground. Sid could hardly open his eyes. When he saw Adonis lying on the ground, unconscious and probably dead, he smiled. He closed his eyes, for he was not able to go on anymore.
-Oh my -a Demoniac said-, I don't think we'll see Adonis for a while.
-It's his fault -Hikari said.
-Pay some respect, Hikari. He was able to do more than you.
-That is because I never get the chance to--
-Shall we continue? We're almost reaching the House of Shadow Libra.

Finally, the Demoniac reached the House of Shadow Libra. Tsai was expecting them, in front of the House. He looked very determined. One of the Demoniac started to move closer to him.
-You will not get past this House, I assure you -Tsai said.
-I wouldn't agree with you
-What?
-You will fall upon me, Tida of Aries Demoniac!
The moment Tida stopped speaking; he stared at Tsai's eyes, laughing.
-Why are you laughing...?
Suddenly, his eyes were losing visibility. The shape of Tida's body began turning blurry. Then it started to separate itself, as if it was duplicating. Tsai kept staring, in awe. Was his mind playing a trick on him? This couldn't be. Tida was responsible of this.
-What, how did you... Duplicate yourself?!
Tsai started to feel a little nervous. He looked around and noticed that there was no longer one copy of Tida. There were at least a few dozens copies of Tida around him, laughing as well.

-Go to the next House -they all said at the same time-. I will take care of him.
Tsai began to realize that it didn't really matter to him whether there was one, or a few dozens of enemies. All that mattered to him was whether he could stop them from reaching the House of Shadow Scorpio or not. Tsai let out a sigh of grief and armed himself with his swords; there was no way he would allow them to get pass him. One of the copies dashed towards him. Tsai braced himself for the attack, and swiftly stabbed the copy in the abdomen. Somehow, maybe by instinct, the copy pulled the sword out slowly and smiled diabolically at Tsai. After which, he faded away.
-What the…?!
This time, he was desperate to know what was happening. He had never fought against such a bizarre opponent.
-How did he do that?!
-Don't believe everything you see, Shadow Libra. Unless you want to end up like your friends... Who have fallen, just like you will! -They yelled in unison.
As Tsai pondered on what they had just said, the most dreaded thing happened. The Shadow Saint of Scorpio appeared from the exit of the House. Tsai was intrigued; no Shadow Saint must leave his House.
-Rao! What are you doing here, go back to your House!
-I am here to help...
Tsai noticed there was a strange look on his eyes. He couldn't be the real Shadow Scorpio saint.
-Rao…? No, this can't be...
-... Them. Mental Distortion!

The fake Rao disappeared, only to reveal Tida shooting a blue ray at Tsai, the others the other copies vanished. Unfortunately, Tsai was not prepared to evade any attack, and the ray reached his brain. Tida laughed.
-Argh! What's going on?!
He started to see the other saints being killed by the other Demoniac. The images were disturbing, but the pain was very real. Every time he saw one of the saints being injured, he felt it as if it was done to him.
-Don't you like seeing your friends, Shadow Libra? -Tida asked.
Tsai didn't answer; he was beginning to see images of the Demoniac reaching the Pope's Temple.
-No -he whispered-, no, please...

The mental projection was quite disturbing. The Pope stood no chance against them, and he was quickly assassinated. Sagittarius Demoniac took of the Pope's mask, revealing a void.
-What the...?!
This void got Tsai in a sort of trance.
-Do not try to look for an explanation, Shadow Libra. Especially now that your mind is a toy, like many others I've seen.
Tsai suddenly remembered what Tida told him and looked at his injuries. They were the same injuries the saints in his vision had.
-Now I get it... Now I get it!
Tsai had been tricked. While his mind was trapped in these visions, Tida had taken advantage and injured him. His cosmo started to grow, and Tida realized that he was getting out of his control.

-Violet Sun! -Tsai exclaimed.
He concentrated a large amount of energy in his hand, which began to get warmer and warmer. This fire beam hit Tida, whose skin began to burn. He screamed in pain as he was pushed away.
-You will pay for this, Shadow Libra! -He said.
-You can't trick me anymore! Violet Sun!
-Mental Distortion! -Tida exclaimed.
Although the fire beam reached Tida, the blue ray also hit Tsai. Both fell to the ground, and Tida's cosmo began disappearing. Tsai stood up, with effort, for his brain was still under the effect of Tida's attack. He sat in the floor, trying to recover himself.
-I should've noticed he was playing, stupid me…
He almost falls back, but recovered control of his body before he fell.
