(Flashback)
Golden wigs unfurled and stretched before the blonde turned around to head off back up the stairs, but spotted Krad and froze in his place, “Krad…” he spoke in shocked recognition.
The white winged angel nodded back as his heart continued to pound in his ears…

“Tallgeese,” Krad mumbled aloud and opened his haze filled eyes, Dark was hanging over him again.
Amethyst eyes closed in exasperation, “Krad, you've been sleeping a lot today… Did you stay up that late last night? What's the matter?”
The blonde stared at nothing somehow knew that Dark was in the room and needed to convey what he knew, “his name is Tallgeese… Knight… of Tempest…” he flinched violently as he was assaulted with more visions of the one he now knew as Tallgeese and the love affair they had in this strange place.
Dark was becoming very worried by this point, not only from the fact his lover was STILL spouting nonsense about a dream he'd had that morning, but because he was now shaking violently and there was no life at all in his eyes. The Phantom Thief leaned over the other, putting his hands on Krad's shoulders in an attempt to keep him from shaking, “Come on Krad! Snap out of it! KRAD! …” He shouted, then the blonde went still.

Krad knelt beside Tallgeese in front of the council and `Him.' `He' had found out, just like he always did, about the two angel's affair and now they had to face the consequences. Feelings, especially those of a homosexual tendency, were not permitted in Heaven.
“Krad Hikari,” `He' spoke in a loud and booming voice, “You have disobeyed the unwritten laws of Heaven. Do you deny it?”
“No.”
He turned then to Tallgeese, “Tallgeese, Knight of Tempest, you have also disobeyed the unwritten laws of Heaven. Do you deny it?”
“No,” Tallgeese answered, his eyes downcast.
“So they have confessed, so a punishment shall be administered. For breaking the laws that govern this sanctuary, both parties shall be reborn on Earth with no memories of their past lives in Heaven or each other. The both of you will go through your mortal lives, never to see each other again. Council is dismissed!”

The blonde opened his eyes once again and could not get over the overwhelming sadness he suddenly felt. Sitting up slowly, he brought his knees up and pulled them up against his chest. Registering that he was once again at home, he noticed Dark was along side him, head resting on his arms which were crossed on the bed and were being used as a makeshift pillow. Krad sighed and brushed the stray purple locks away from the other's face. Dark shuddered and his eyes slowly opened to reveal the amethyst orbs.
“Krad?” the phantom thief paused, then shot up and practically attacked the blonde, jumping onto his lap and wrapping his arms around the other, “God Krad, I was so worried!” he informed his lover, almost in tears.
The blonde held him close, apologizing repeatedly for causing his lover so much distress, and slowly calming Dark down by reassuring he was just fine.
----------------
Krad woke up the next morning in a lousy mood, not only had he sworn to himself the day before that he HAD to work at making a new painting that day, he hadn't had a dream about the golden winged angel, about Tallgeese. He hadn't visited Heaven in his dreams the night before, had NO idea where the golden winged angel was or even where to begin looking! He also had convinced himself that Tallgeese was worth finding and he actually wanted to see him again. Krad usually did what he wanted.
He got out of bed carefully, disentangling himself from his purple haired lover without waking him, and ventured out into the kitchen. Once there, he quickly grabbed something to eat before going into another room where his paints and easel were set up. The blonde sighed and sat in the chair in front of the easel and stared at the pure white canvas before him. The longer he stared at it, the deeper into depression he became, until he wasn't even sure how much time had past. He knew he wanted to see Tallgeese, yet he didn't know how, if not through his dreams…
-------- ~X~ --------
Krad felt as if he were floating before he landed softly in a place he was unfamiliar with. This certainly wasn't the place in his dreams, he wasn't at home so… where was he? He glanced around, surveying the landscape around him and was surprised at how different everything was, trees were different, the sky and air were different, the buildings…
He shook his head and went towards the nearest building. Sightseeing wasn't important. Even though he didn't know where he was or what the people would be like, standing around doing nothing but looking around wasn't going to get him home and he didn't want to worry Dark any more than he had already. Maybe when he found someone, he'd be able to find out how exactly he got there as well.
After awhile, he finally reached the building. Although he'd reached it, he paused, what if he wasn't able to get back? Never be able to see Dark again? He shook his head, making his hair mess itself up and wiped it out of his face. He wasn't going to think of that, he'd find a way back, there was no question about it.
Just as he'd resolved with himself to think positively about the situation and had lifted his hand to the doorknob, it opened by itself. Standing at the door were two males that appeared to be twins. One had light blue hair and a tattoo on his left cheek, while the other had orange hair and a tattoo on his right. Both met Krad with matching green-eyed glares, while cat like golden eyes gazed back with confusion. The twins had their arms crossed as they glanced at each other knowingly, sharing no words between themselves before moving toward Krad to either side. Without warning and before the blonde could even ask anything of them, his vision faded to the black of unconsciousness.
-------- ~X~ --------
When the blonde reopened his eyes again, he was back in the workroom. Looking around, he wondered how he'd gotten back, if it was a dream, and how he'd gotten there in the first place if it wasn't.
He thought back to the two he had met this time. They definitely weren't Tallgeese, but was it possible that the building he had gone to was Tallgeese's and they were his lovers? After all, he had Dark didn't he? That didn't explain though, why they looked so angry to see him or how he managed to get back to his house.
Looking up, his eyes caught the clock and he was shocked to see that barely a couple of minutes had gone by since Krad had entered the room. He could have sworn he'd been in wherever it was for at least an hour. He sighed in frustration, his life had become much more complicated since he'd discovered the golden winged angel. Deciding that he still had work that needed to be done, and Dark wasn't going to be waking up anytime soon, Krad picked up a bunch of paints and transferred them to a pallet before picking up his brush and beginning to paint.
Krad painted on instinct, letting his mind wander, so that he wasn't completely aware himself of what he actually was painting. After some time had passed, Dark came in, his amethyst eyes clouded over with sleep. The phantom thief rubbed at his eyes and made his way over to the blonde, leaning over him for support. Dark squinted his eyes at the painting, his eyes suddenly clearing as he stared at it in semi-shock, “Wow Krad, that's really pretty… who is it?”
The blonde paused in his activity, be jarred out of his state of mind by his lover, “Who…?” He slowly came out of his reverie and paused before saying, “Tallgeese…”
The thief turned back to the painting, taking a very good look at the male who was turning into his lover's obsession, “He's even better looking than I thought.” He whistled low in admiration, “If you somehow get him here again, try to introduce us before you whisk him away and I never see you again.”
Krad's head jerked up and he stared fiercely at Dark, “I'd never leave you.”
The Phantom Thief shrugged and got off his lover's shoulders, “It was a joke Krad.” He kissed the blonde on the cheek and left him to his work in order to fix himself breakfast.
Much later in the afternoon, Krad finally surfaced, but only in order to grab Dark and drag the purple haired thief with him back into the room. The blonde quickly took out the finished products of his hours of working. Krad eagerly gave the finished product of Tallgeese to Dark, explaining everything he knew about him and asking the thief's opinions as well.
The blonde paused momentarily before taking the portrait back and giving his lover a landscape painting of the strange world he had visited temporarily, quickly explaining that he thought that was where Tallgeese was before taking that back as well and handing over his final picture of the green eyed twins. Narrowing his eyes in thought he explained, “I don't know what they have to do with anything but… I think for some reason they're keeping Tallgeese from me… I saw them today.”
“In a dream last night?” Dark asked curiously as he examined the portrait.
“No…” Krad paused and his lover looked up at him, silently telling him to elaborate, “I saw them before I started painting… Like my wanting to see Tallgeese, sent me there…” he pointed at the building on the landscape, “That's where they live.”
Dark nodded to tell Krad he understood, “Are they Tallgeese's lovers?”
Cat like golden eyes closed in thought, “I don't know…”
----------------
The rest of the day wasn't eventful and Krad once again didn't feel sleepy or dazed at all. Dark seemed to know the other was depressed because of this and decided to take him out to dinner. Unfortunately this didn't cure the blonde's depression at all and by the time they got home, the phantom thief was at his wits end from frustration.
Upon entering the house and closing the front door, Dark turned on his lover, crossing his arms in front of him and giving Krad a look. When that didn't work Dark sighed, uncrossed his arms and stalked closer to the other, looking directly into Krad's averted eyes. Fed up with the blonde's mood, he grabbed hold of his lover's face and made the golden eyes meet his own. A brief silence fell over them before Dark folded and sighed in exasperation, “Krad, what can I possibly do to get you out of this mood you're in?”
The blonde remained silent, having no answer for his lover. He grabbed the thief's hands with his own and lowered them away from his face, choosing a spot beside Dark that was far more interesting that anything else before apologizing, “I'm sorry Dark, this isn't something that should be affecting you…”
Dark twisted his arms out of Krad's grasp, “Sorry for trying to find out what's making you all moody then!”
The blonde looked away, “That's not what I meant. I don't want this situation…”
Dark held up a hand to stop him from continuing, staring to the side, “Krad… I don't care about the situation. I know this is something you have to deal with because he's your lover and all… I just can't stand the fact you're putting up a wall around yourself that I can't get into, and I can't do anything to help you…”
The artist paused, reflecting on what the phantom thief had just told him before smiling slightly and kissing the purple haired male lightly on the cheek. He whispered a soft, “I'm sorry” before kissing the other again with a bit more feeling.
Later that night, the blonde got up, looked around and went back into his workroom. He didn't know what compelled him to be there, just that it was extremely important that he was. Once there, his eyes were drawn first to his portrait of Tallgeese before they trailed over to the landscape, which was glowing with a pale purple light. He felt his eyes hazing over, and sat down in the chair, letting himself be drawn back into the world he figured his white winded angel was in.
-------- ~X~ --------
Krad regained consciousness of his surroundings once again in the strange world. He looked around, absorbing in the maroon soil, deep purple rocks, pinkish sky, and dead pitch-black trees. Cautiously he once again made his way toward the closest building. Passing the remains of a broken down building on the way, he looked down to see a miniature tombstone with the words `Mio was here' scratched into the ground in front of it. Not caring, he continued moving toward the building and knocked at the door when he got there, bracing himself for the green-eyed twins. However, when the door opened, a girl with long brown hair and bright brown eyes answered it. She looked up at Krad inquiringly, “Can I help you?”
The blonde stared at her, then glanced inside, he could have sworn he was at the right house, but then, all the buildings here looked the same, “Where's Tallgeese.”
She smiled at him, “Are you a friend of Mr. Tallgeese's too? We were just heading over, would you like to join us?”
Krad was going to decline her offer, he could make the trip and find Tallgeese by himself, but the twins flashed into his mind and he thought better of it. Perhaps they wouldn't send him back when there were people around. He nodded reluctantly and was dragged into the house with his `captor' yelling, “Hey Riku! Hurry up!”
Not much time later Krad, accompanied by the two girls, left the house with the females bickering back and forth with each other. First would be the red haired girl telling her sister, Risa, they didn't have to rush so much because Tallgeese wasn't going anywhere, and Risa would retort back telling her something about punctuality.
Needless to say, Krad was relieved when he spotted another building and they headed toward it. Krad trailed behind a little as they reached the door and Risa knocked on it. Almost immediately after the knock, a commotion began inside and he thought he heard someone yell, “Tell them I'm not home!” He couldn't blame the person though, they were driving him insane and he barely knew them.
Soon after though, it died down and Tallgeese answered the door with and attempted smile on his face, “Hi, guys…” he stopped as he saw Krad and stared momentarily, seemingly thinking fast, “Oh! You made it!” he reached around the girls and grabbed a hold of Krad's hand, pulling the other blonde through the doorway, “Sorry girls, I forgot I invited someone else over, you'll have to come over another time…” Krad quickly came through the door and it was closed behind him on the girls, “Or better yet, never.”
Tallgeese leaned against the door and sighed in relief that he'd escaped having to spend time with the females. He looked over at Krad and felt his heart skip a beat before turning away quickly. He stared at the floor in somewhat discomfort, “Um… by the way… do I know you?
Krad started in surprise, hadn't the other been plagued by the dreams as he had? Apparently not if Tallgeese didn't know him, but… why not? He put a hand to his forehead, massaging his temples before asking, “You have no idea who I am?”
Tallgeese shook his head, then met Krad's eyes, “No, am I supposed to? Do you even know me?”
Golden eyes gazed over to meet red ones and time seemed to freeze, “Yes, Tallgeese Knight of Tempest, I do…”
Those few words sent time fast forwarding and somehow the two were in each other's arms. Hugging, groping, kissing, gasping for breath, until time returned to normal as the two were pulled apart, the culprits being the twins, their green eyes alight with fury.
Tallgeese struggled and managed to break away from the light blue haired male that had been holding him hostage and glared back with just as much anger, “What do you two think you were doing? I was in the middle of something!” But they said nothing, or Krad thought they said nothing, but Tallgeese carried on as if they had, “I don't care. He has nothing to do with this.” He hugged and grabbed onto Krad's arm before dragging him further into the building. Krad was surprised to see that inside this building, it appeared to be a normal house.
The Knight led Krad to a room that had a bed, locking and closing the door; Tallgeese sighed and sat on the edge of his bed. He crossed his legs and leaned back, “Sorry about them… they're usually not like that.” He paused, staring into golden eyes, “Their names are Mercurious and Vayeate.”
Krad nodded as if he'd already known this but didn't. He looked at the floor wondering if he could ask the personal question about them that was eating him away inside. Taking a breath, he just came out and asked it, “Are they your… lovers?”
Scowling at the floor, the knight shook his head, “No, they're more like babysitters my father sent me to make sure I behave,” he looked met Krad's golden eyes in determination, “But they will be! Man, I am so sick of those girls!” He sighed, closing his red eyes and flopped back onto the bed, uncrossing his legs and putting his arms beneath his head.
Eyes trailed over the golden winged angel and Krad wondered if the other knew how he was feeling and this was some sort of invitation. He let out and inaudible sigh and crossed the short distance between them, leaning over Tallgeese and placing a soft kiss on his lips. The kiss quickly turned needy and passionate when the Knight returned it. Soon they were spread across the bed, legs entangled, arms caressing each other and mouths engulfing each other's with passion, with need, and anything else they were feeling.
There was a sharp, loud knock on the door and Krad started lifting up in surprise before Tallgeese forced him back down, kissing him again passionately and pushing his hands up underneath Krad's shirt, touching and caressing him.
The knock persisted and Tallgeese's hands faltered and he broke the kiss, “I'm busy!” Once again, all Krad could hear was silence before the golden winged angel glared at the door, “You wouldn't.” There was a `click' and the door opened, the orange haired twin leaned in, pushing the door open and managing to both glare evilly at Krad and stare with disappointment at Tallgeese.
Again, Tallgeese replied to the silence, which led Krad to believe the twins actually did speak, but in a different language, Tallgeese spoke in a tone that said he was completely disobeying the one that spoke to him, “I don't think so,” in emphasis to this answer, he brought Krad's lips back down upon his own, “We're having a good time.”
Somehow they managed to be apart, the orange haired twin holding onto Krad in such a tight grip it hurt, and the light blue haired one coming in a grabbing hold of Tallgeese. The knight looked pathetically up at the twin that was holding him with watery eyes, turning completely around and hugging him tightly, he appeared to be shaking, “Vayeate, Mercurious is being mean to me.”
Vayeate looked at a loss before looking over to his orange haired twin for help. Their eyes met momentarily. Tallgeese stopped shaking at once and looked over to Mercurious, appalled, “But I don't want him to go home yet!” Before the knight could say anything further, Krad's vision became dark and he once again fell out of their world.
A/N: Okay… I'm going to stop there for now I think… so I can actually get this up! Since it's summer, I expect I'll be writing at least a little more than I have been… ^^;; I'll do my best to try anyway! Anyways… Until then!!!
