Zero opened his eyes groggily and looked around. "Ugh, where am I?. . .Oh that's right, I'm hiding out in a cave . . .Why did I decide to leave again?" the knight pondered this for a moment and only one word came to mind. "Baku . . ." Sure he said he hated the samurai, but he ever say he meant it? Didn't think so.

"Baku, my blazing samurai, where are you now? Still at the base with the one you truly love? I suppose so." Zero walked to the opening of the cave and looked out at the forest surrounding him. He had run away, literally.

"I've vowed not to fly again Bakunetsumaru, not until you come back to me. And if you never do . . .then I guess I'll never fly again . . .I really do . . .still love you." Rain began to fall from the sky, dark clouds covering the sky blue. Zero walked out of the cave and into the light drizzle, falling to his knees about a mile from the cave.

Zero tried to stifle a few sobs but it was no use, he began to weep. His tears mixing with the rain so that the tears weren't visible, but the falling water couldn't hide the pain. Nothing could. He missed Baku dearly but he knew the samurai did not care for him anymore, so he thought.

"It really is all my fault . . .I shouldn't have done that . . .But . . .I told him the truth . . .he really was just a friend." Zero sobbed unaware of the presence of another behind him, smirking evilly. The figure stepped closer and grabbed the knight.

A/N: Mwahahahaha! Don't you just love cliffhangers? And what's worst is that I have very bad news about this and all my fics . . .Um . . . I kinda failed health and I'm pretty sure I failed geometry as well and my mom is very strict about my grades. If she finds out, I can kiss my computer goodbye. She said if I failed again, this time she'd take away the computer. *Sobs* So basically, if she gets my report card, you won't see a new chappie to anything for another six weeks. And even then, if I don't pass this time I don't get anything back and she takes away my TV and I won't have anything to do for summer vacation! Pray that I get the report card from one of my teachers instead of my school deciding to mail them (like last time). And I also apologize if I don't review your fics for this long while.
