Baku drank some hot coco as it was starting to get cold at the base with all the air-conditioning. Zero was drinking his usual morning coffee.
" Zero, you shouldn't drink coffee as often as you do," Baku said. Zero, just to annoy Baku, took another sip. " Why?"
" …It makes you shrink…" Zero sweatdroped. (A/N: I've heard that from SO many ppl…even I say it! Dunno if it's true or not…x.x Laides and gentleman, the amazing shrinking Zero!! lol)
" Someone didn't take their medication this morning…" Baku held his hot coco in a position that threatened to spill in Zero's lap. " WHAT was that?!"
" Um…nothing dear…" Baku took his cup and finished off its contents.
" Zero, have you found anything on the serial killer?" Baku asked.
" We've examined the bodies, their locations, and every other detail…" Zero sighed. " The only thing we can figure out is that he either attacks women or children." Baku blinked.
" You mean that was him that attacked Anna?" Zero nodded. " But she's safe with Cole now," Zero said.
" How many people did he kill?"
" Over twenty so far." Baku flinched. " Kane believes he knows who he's going to attack tonight, so I'll be at a stakeout all night…" Zero said the word stake in stakeout quietly. (A/N: Get it? It's cuz he's a vamp! :p)
" …Need anything before you go?" Baku asked. Zero shrugged. " It's not until tonight, so I will worry about getting things later."
Baku couldn't help but get worried about Zero whenever he went out at night, but he couldn't stop him. He had to go for many reasons. Baku kissed Zero on the cheek. Zero pulled Baku onto his lap and hugged him. " Don't worry, we'll catch him." Baku smiled slightly.
" I know you will. So what do you wanna do till then?" Zero shrugged. " Finish my coffee?"
" It's going to make you shrink…" Zero sweatdroped. " It is not!"
" Whatever…"
