Zero put a little microchip behind one of the wings on his helmet that night. He and Kane were in the black Gundam's apartment downtown.

" Are you sure this will work?" Zero asked skeptically. Kane nodded. " It should. This devise will block any telekinetic messages from Kikumon, or anything else from telepathy." Zero looked into the little mirror that was hung above the dresser.

" Wait…I can see my reflection!" Zero stared in surprise. Kane walked up behind him and looked at their reflections. " Yes, so what's the problem?"

" Well…we're vampires; aren't we not supposed to have reflections?" Kane shook his head. " That means nothing." He looked into the mirror. " You see, those vampires have no souls, and therefore they do not have a reflection of their souls…"

" Mirrors reflect souls?" Zero questioned.

" To an extent, yes. It also has to a deal to do with magic as well." Zero shook his head.

" Damn, how do you know these things?" Kane shrugged. " I honestly have no idea. I just do." Zero smiled.

" You always were the know-it-all." Zero adjusted the chip so that it was nearly hidden.

" Now make sure it's close to your head or on it at all times, Zero," Kane warned, " Because if that thing comes off and Kikumon has been trying to reach you, you're as good as dead." Zero gave him a look. " Er….You know what I mean."

Zero closed his eyes. " Does this affect anything else?"

" Yes, your powers will not have any limiters on them." Zero looked at Kane as the other knight went over to his bed and sat down. " Limiters?"

" Yes. The resurrector or their chosen associate can put on `limiters' on their followers. They enable them to control their powers and strengths."

" So that's why I've been helpless when Kikumon would hurt me…" Kane nodded. " So you better keep that damn thing on."

" Wait, what about you?" Zero asked. " Didn't you make on for yourself?" Kane sighed while shaking his head. " Kane!"

" Zero, you know how suspicious that would look if both of us had those?" He pointed to the chip on Zero's helmet. " That wouldn't matter though."

" Yes it would. They could still come after us and try to kill us…And besides, you may need someone on the inside to help out with locating the Litho creature before they do." Zero nodded.

" …You've done so much for me…" Kane stood up. " You are my lord and my friend, so it is my obligation to help you in anyway I can." Zero smiled. Before either one of them could say another word, Zero went up to Kane and hugged him. Kane was startled by this sudden action.

" I may be at a higher rank than you, Kane Knight of the Drain," Zero began, " But you were always like an elder brother to me…always looking out for me and all…" Kane smiled and hugged Zero back. " Anything for family." Zero laughed slightly.

" Thanks.."

" Just get that thing and get rid of Kikumon and Kibaomaru before the next millennia, alright?" Zero nodded.

Zero came back to the base in the morning around eight. He was humming happily while walking down the south wing when Guneagle ran up to him.

" DUUDE!!" Guneagle screamed, then grabbed Zero's arm. " You won't BELIEVE what happened last night!!!" Zero blinked. " What?"

" Bakunetsumaru ate our entire supply of food!!!" Guneagle thought this was hilarious. " He ate it all in one NIGHT!"

" Er…how much would that be?"

" Oh, about five months worth of food." Zero sweatdroped. " The hell was he doing?!"

" I dunno, but MAN! It is so funny!! He has to have broken a world record or something!" Zero rolled his eyes.

" Where is he?"

" Out near the docking bay." Zero then ran outside, while Guneagle chuckled. " He ate it all!!" (A/N: I would be like Guneagle and just laugh and laugh about it….even though it probably isn't funny.^^;)

" Bakunetsumaru!" Baku was sitting on the ground, staring at the sky. " Hi, hun," he said without reverting his gaze.

Zero flew in, and landed next to him. " What's all this I hear about you eating the base's entire supply of FOOD?"

" Oh, I didn't eat EVERYTHING…I left the Brussels sprouts and garlic alone." Zero twitched at the mention of garlic. " Don't mention that food product again…"

" What, garlic?"

" Yes!"

" Why?" A little red vain throbbed on Zero's head. " Just---why did you eat all that!?"

" I was hungry, DUH!" Zero facefaulted. He got back up quickly and yelled, " I don't mean that! I mean how-why…!?" Zero growled, forgetting what he was going to say.

" I was just…really hungry…" Baku sweatdroped.

" I knew you had a bottomless pit for a stomach, but really!" Baku chuckled while holding a hand behind his head. " Well, I'm not sure how I did it either…I just got a headache, then I just started eating and couldn't stop!"

Zero sat down next to Baku and rolled his eyes. " Just don't do that again….."

Baku actually had an idea on the reason why he did that, but he knew Zero wouldn't like it. (A/N: No, it's not cuz he's pregnant.) He has been having problems with his stomach lately, and it being a bottomless pit was one of them.

Baku yawned, then stood up. " I'm gonna go to bed…"

" But it's morning."

" So? You sleep in the mornings too!"

" ….I'm a vampire…."

" Oh yeah," Baku remembered. " Why do I keep forgetting?" Zero facefaulted.

" My dear, sweet, yet stupid at times, Bakunetsumaru…" Zero shrugged. " Hey! I'm not stupid! I just have A.D.D!" Zero sweatdroped. " What's A.D.D?"

" I don't have a clue! But Shute always says that when his mom asks him about his grades!" Zero sweatdroped again. He sighed while rolling his eyes, then hugged Baku. Baku blinked, but then leaned his head against Zero.

" Sooooooooo, when are ya two getting married??" Zero and Baku looked up to see Guneagle hovering above them. " GUNEAGLE!!" They both yelled at him. He just laughed while flying away. Baku shook his head, then lied his head back down on Zero.

" Kids…."

" Glad I don't have any," Zero said. Baku looked up at Zero, looking upset by that. " What?"

" So, you don't want kids at all?" Zero sweatdroped. " Well…I…uh…" He coughed.

" Okay, WHY not!?"

" ….Kids hate me." Baku laughed. " They do not!"

" They do too!"

" Shute's a kid…"

" No, I mean toddlers and babies," Zero said. " You know how Nana always has a fit if I hold her!"

" …That's cuz you hold her upside down…" Zero blinked. " Oh, I do?" Baku hit his head against Zero.

" ….Just be quiet for a while, okay, Zero?" Zero sighed, " Fine…but you started it." Baku punched Zero in the gut.

" I said shut up." Zero winched. " Yes…dear…"

Captain flipped through the TV channels while he and the others sat around Shute's living room, bored.

" 1,2340 channels and nothing to watch…" Shute sighed. Baku lied on his back on the floor.

" No kidding…you'd think there'd be at least ONE thing on besides the news…"

" And all they ever talk about is how hot it is outside…" Shute said. " I went out yesterday for about thirty seconds and got sunburn!" He pointed to his arms.

" Wow…that's definitely hot weather out there…" Zero commented.

There was a knock on the front door as they talked, as well as Nana starting to cry almost at the same time. Shute sighed.

" I'll get Nana…." He got up reluctantly and headed upstairs. Captain got up, and answered the door. He blinked. " Kane?"

Kane stood leaning against the doorframe with a black pair of sunglasses on. " Hello, Captain Gundam. How art thou today?" Zero stood behind Captain.

" Kane?!" he said in surprise. " What the hell are you doing here?"

" We might as well be in hell with this heat…" Kane commented. " I just started getting tired of sleeping during the day, and work at night. So I thought I'd pay you guys a little visit!"

Shute then came down, holding a fussing Nana in his arms. " I can't get her to stooooop!" he announced. Nana sniffled while squirming about. Kane walked over to him.

" Let me see her." Shute bit his lower lip. " Okay, your funeral." He then handed Nana gently over to Kane. She stopped squirming as soon as he touched her, and smiled while giggling. Everyone gawked at Kane while he rocked her slightly.

" How the…?" Shute began. Kane shrugged. " I have ways with children now-a-days…" Zero rolled his eyes.

" Even girls at this age think you are charming!"

" You're a fine one to talk, sir Flirt-a-Lot." Everyone laughed while Zero crossed his arms. Kane leaned against the wall while still holding Nana. " So, how is the chip?"

" So far, so good," Zero replied.

" Chip?" Baku questioned. Zero jumped, not noticing the musha was there until he spoke. " What chip?"

" Uhhhhhhhh…" Zero sweated nervously, but Kane remained calm. " It's a chip I have installed into Zero's being to help thwart him from being overridden by any noncommittal signals."

" For…what?" Baku blinked. " It's a vampire thing, mortal." Kane looked down to see Nana was asleep. " Cute kid."

" Yeah, she's real sweet…" Shute said, taking the baby. " …When she's asleep." He then went upstairs to tuck her in.

" Uh, may I speak with Zero in private for a moment?" Kane asked, opening the door to the outside. Zero didn't want to leave the air-conditioned house, but knew it might have been important if he wanted them to be alone. Zero walked outside.

" So," Zero closed his eyes, and covered them with his hands, since he didn't have his sunglasses on. He wondered how long it would take to melt out in the heat. " What is it?"

" You must go get the Litho creature at once," Kane said calmly. " I can lead you there, but after tat you are on your own…" He looked up slightly. " But we must hurry, Kikumon will soon summon me to do something for her." Zero nodded.

" But what about the others? I just can't leave like this…"

" Worry about that after you've saved the universe," Kane snapped, lifting himself up into the air. " We must go, now."

Zero sighed, then summoned up a pair of sunglasses. He put them on, then floated into the air. " Fine. Let's hurry."

Ooooooo, suspence! *gets a bunch of glares* ^^; Um…sorry…heh? Oh! I got this cool thingy called a didgeridoo! Its that Autrailian wind pipe as I like to call it! ^_^ LOL, so I'm out of breath all the time from playing it..but its soooo cool! Ya'll should get one! Wait, why am I talking about that?? It has nothing to do with the story! X.x Oh well, whatever. LOL
