Shaman King Fan Fiction ❯ Little Red Fox ❯ Tradgic Fan Mistress Akakitsune ( Chapter 3 )
Chapter two's author notes: Many apologies for short chapters. Writing the chapters in such a manner allows me to update more often. The only real difference in the shorter chapters is the fact I'm separating the normal sized chapters into smaller pieces. But you get them faster since I normally get a block half way through the large chapters that I don't get with short chapters. speaking of short chapters this next one is VERY short. but the next one is longer than chapter one. If I have chapter three written out on the computer when I post this I may post later in the week.
Angel Yukino: Domo arigato! And yes it does focus around our dearest Akakitsune. Well, for a while at least, you'll see what i mean later on.
Chapter two: The haunted soul of the fan mistress, Akakitsune.
Akakitsune whimpered as she flattened her ears against her head. "Manta sama. Please stop." Manta blinked. "But it's true! I saw a boy at the cemetery with freaky eyes and the ghost of a Chinese war lord!" Akakitsune sighed. "I was referring to how loud you are being. I may be dead but such loud noises pain me."
"Gomen nasai.. But there was another shaman!"
"Well Duh..." Yoh said tiredly. "I never said there weren't other shamans. It's no big deal." Akakitsune nodded. "He did say he was a shaman not the shaman."
Manta twitched. "Listen!!!" Akakitsune whimpered. "That's it." Akakitsune retreated to her memorial tablet which was in Yoh's pocket.
She planned on staying there for a while. Manta was far to screechy to be human in her opinion.
After a few moments Akakitsune sighed sadly. "More time to be alone and think about my past." She lamented softly. "Two thousand years hasn't helped... I doubt a day or two more will either."
She shivered at the smell that rode the air. The smell of familiar blood. She whimpered lightly and quickened her pace back to the camp. As she neared the small camp her mate, her pups, her friend and herself had been living in for the past week her stomach churned. The scent of blood was beginning to become unbearable to her sensitive senses. She started to run now. As she neared she noticed something hanging from a tree near the cliff. Her heart almost stopped then and there. Two bodies hung from the bows of the large sakura tree. Akakitsune was nigh unto tears. The two bodies were those of her pups. She ran till she was back into camp. When she got there her mate Kurakuma glared at her and grabbed the bucket of water she had gone to get. "Onna. Go to your tent." "But..." Akakitsune started. Kurakuma growled and slashed her across the face with his claws. "Now!" Akakitsune ran off to her tent holding her face. Her mate had the blood of their pups on his claws, and now she had that very same blood smattered on her face. Akakitsune collapsed on her floor pallet and wept. Her mate had killed every litter she had birthed. Something within her told her he was not done killing. She felt the urge to run away and bring her friend Kurome with her. 'But I can't. I can't leave.' She thought with despair.
Akakitsune blinked as she felt a keen sense of worry from outside of her tablet. "Manta Sama."
