“LOOK OUT!” Ryoga tackled her, moving both of them out of the way just as Shampoo's sword passed through the air where Ranko's neck had been.

 

“Who the hell are you?!” Akane asked as she moved into a defensive stance. Ranma was standing there, looking confused as Shampoo looked down in disdain at the outsider male that had knocked her prey out of the way.

 

“That's Shampoo,” Ranma said, confusion evident in his voice. “But she's supposed to be after me, not Ranko.”

 

“After you?” Akane asked, incredulous. “What could you have done-“

 

“We can discuss that LATER!” They both turned to see Ranko and Ryoga roll to opposite sides to dodge a downward stab.
