They stared each other down. You can practically see the fire in their eyes and firey aura seemed to practically surround Lina Inverse. Yes, the dragoon spooker, flat-chested, fiery tempered, genius sorceress.
Zelgadis decides to speak up and try to break up the tension that clung to the atmosphere. "Is it really such a big deal?"
Lina pulled her head away from the glaring contest for a split second to speak to Zel. "DO YOU EVEN HAVE TO ASK?!?!? OF COURSE IT IS!" The red-haired sorceress screeched loudly.
Zelgadis winces from the volume of her voice and decides smartly to back away and sit himself on a log. Amelia sweatdrops nervously and decides to back Zelgadis up, knowing it's dangerous to do so. "Zelgadis-san is right. This is unecessary and it's unjust to keep us from sleep like this."
"WADDAYA MEAN UNECESSARY?! Would I be doing this if it was unecessary??"
"..Nevermind..! I didn't say anything!" Amelia retreats to safety, behind Zelgadis that is.
Xellos, who's several feet away and sitting on a tree branch sweatdrops with his usual cheery smile plastered on his face.
"You don't understand, do you?! I NEED it!!"
"How do you need it?"
"I just do! I'm gonna die like this!"
She can die like this...? Gourry turns to the others with a questioning stare, wondering if what she said might be true. He was clearly confused. "Really?"
Zelgadis thinks for a moment. "Well, this IS Lina we're talking about, so yes, I guess so."
"See?!" Lina screams, on the verge of tears.
"Alright, alright. I give up. Have it your way and take it." Gourry quickly gives up to the weird logic(not that he would really understand any logic) and her teary eyes.
"Yay!" Tears quickly disappearing as if it never existed, she grabbed the last piece of chicken and quickly devours it. "Ah..now, I'm full."
Gourry sighs. "How come I always lose?!"
"Probably because you can't stand up to Lina-san's temper." Amelia answered matter-of-factly.
"WHAT DID YOU SAAYY??" Amelia finds herself in a headlock.
"GOMEN-NASAIII!!! I didn't mean it!!"
