Slayers Realm of Insanity

 

Summary : Lina Inverse and Gourry Gabriev found an old scroll in the basement part of the Inn they were staying at. The scroll seemed to have words that looked to be in riddle form. Not knowing how to read it they went to search for someone who could.

 

Soft warm hands traveled up her leg. The hands pushed aside the night shirt she wore. One of the hands went to her shirt running along the seem line to the first button. One by one slowly undoing the buttons as the hand moved up.

 

When the hand finally reached the last button it came undone with ease. Pushing apart the shirt she wore he moved his hands to the soft flesh under the shirt.

 

Putting a hand on her neck he slowly began to feel the skin moving downwards. A small cry came from her lips as he touched her mounds of flesh running his hand between the valley of breast.

 

A sharp noise awoke the sleeping girl. Lina rose from her makeshift bed she had slept on. Wondering what could have made the noise she had heard. She unzipped the tent and walked out.

 

She found Gourry sleeping instead of keeping watch like he should have been. She woke up Gourry and told him to go to bed that she would take over the watch for the rest of the night. He was to tired to argue so agreed he then headed for the tent to get a better nights sleep in.

 

Lina saw that the fire was getting low so she set out to get some fire wood. While she was out looking she never came across what could have made the noise so she just forgot about it. Soon the fire was giving off a nice warmth it reminded Lina of the dream she had.

 

She wondered who the guy in her dreams might been. It seemed that Gourry was the best choice she could come up with. A small blush reached her cheeks making them turn to a nice red color. Gourry in his own way was cute, but she really didn't think he would noticed how she really felt for him. To him she was probably a little sister he wanted to protect. Lina let her eyes fall on the flames in the fire.

 

As she watched the dancing flames burn up a nice size log she remembered getting a letter. It was from Amelia saying that things with her were good. She also said she missed everyone and wanted to know when the next time they would stop by to pay her a visit.

 

When Lina was done rereading the letter she pulled out a map she had gotten from the last town she was in. Opening the map up she was choosing where to go next. She wanted to find some remote place. So she closed her eyes and put her finger on the map where ever it landed is where they would go next. When she opened her eyes she learned that her finger stopped on a town east from where they were.

 

Tomorrow it was decided that they would go east. On the map it didn't look very far maybe by night fall tomorrow they would be there. The rest of the night went by fairly fast. Nothing really happened except a few animals going around looking for food. By morning she was ready to start the day kind of early.

 

She got up from the log she sat on most of the night. She knew a pond was close by she wanted to go there to fish. After she got there using a stick and some pieces of her hair she began to catch the fish. About 150 fish later she was ready to had back to camp.

 

Gourry could smell the fish as they cooked. Gourry got up and started to get dressed. He hurried out the tent door heading for the food he smelled. Lina felt it would be wise if she ate before Gourry she really didn't want to fight with him over part of the meal.

 

Gourry sat down on a log he grabbed a couple of stick with the fish that were done and began to eat. It took him no longer than 5 minutes and he was done eating. When he was done he told Lina thanks for getting the food. They got up and packed up the camp site they were ready to start heading for the next town.

 

"Hey Lina witch way are we heading to now?" Lina turned his way looking at him. "Well Gourry I decided we would go east once we are out of this forrest. It shouldn't take us no more than a days walk to get to the next town." Gourry now knowing witch way they were heading picked up his passe on walking Lina joining him.

 

Zelgadis broke through the sealed temple doors. 'Soon' He thought 'Maybe just maybe this might be the place.' When he got there nothing he needed was there. He put his hand on his head and let out a long sigh.

 

Zel had parted with Lina after the defeat of Dark Star. He had just gone through a small temple with nothing important in it. Maybe in the next town there would be some better clues.

 

Zel sat by the fire drinking some coffee thinking of the last time he had been with his friends. It had been over a year ago when they defeated Dark Star. After that they went their own way. Lina had offered to look for a cure with him but he turned her down.

 

While it was nice to travel with friends he found he could make better time by himself. Besides it seemed everywhere that Lina went only trouble was there waiting on her. Right now he didn't need the distraction of trouble he just wanted to find a cure.

 

He soon fell asleep wondering if he would ever find a cure. He wasn't sure if one even existed but that is what keep him going. A life long goal he has set and nothing no matter the hardships that may come was going to stop him from looking. It was a promise he made to himself if nothing else to help stop the looks he was always receiving.

 

It was getting close to noon when Lina wanted to stop. Her stomach couldn't hold out much longer if she didn't eat something soon. She had Gourry go hunt for some food to eat while he did that Lina got the fire ready. It didn't take long for him to find a dear to eat. Gourry had skinned the dear so it was ready to be placed on the fire.

 

"So Lina what do you think the next town will be like I hope is has some good food." Lina really wasn't paying attention to him. It looked like they were being followed and it had been quite sometime since she had heard the men that was following them. She began to think they were getting ready to sage an attack. If they wanted to ask them something then they should have just came up to them.

 

Lina noticed Gourry grab at his sword so he also knew they were their. A bush beside Lina moved standing quickly she was just about to cast a fireball when the thing that came out of the bush end up being a rabbit. That seemed to be the distraction the men were waiting for and they jumped out on the other side of the clearing.

 

Sorry for them the rabbit had scared Lina and she began letting fireball after fireball go in all directions. She even hit Gourry who couldn't get out of the way fast enough. The men backed off trying to run away when Lina got a hold of one. She had a strange smile with a little fang hanging out of the corner of her mouth.

 

Lina didn't get a chance to ask questions when the scared man spoke. " I'm sorry don't kill me the boss paid us to kill you and take the items you had on you." Lina dropped the worthless man. "Your lucky I'm in a good mood other wise I would kill you instead I want you to take me to this boss of yours." The man just nodded knowing he was getting off easy.

 

The boss had wanted one of the men to get caught it was all apart of his plan. He would get Lina to help him by using some bait. He knew she loved to hunt for treasure he would use that to his advantage. Somewhere in the town was a hidden map that lead to a temple not to far from the town. He had already tried to get his men to look for the map but every time they ended up coming back with nothing.

 

He knew that if one of the men got Lina to trust him the trap would be set. He wanted to make a deal with Lina that if she found the map she would take him to the temple. Once they were there they would split the treasure. He just hoped nothing would go wrong with the plan.

 

Lina followed the man in front of her it looked like they were heading to the town she was going to. She didn't think she could get anymore information out of him. He said he never got to met the boss that only one of the men he was with met him. They were going to find the man that met the boss.

 

It was late by the time they got to the town. Lina stopped by the Inn they passed and checked a couple of rooms for her and Gourry. She wanted to met this boss quick she was tired from all the running around they did. At one point when they were heading to the town the man broke lose from there site and started running off the path they were following. It took a little time for Lina to find him but she made him pay the guy now was having trouble walking right. He was lucky she never broke his leg.

 

When she was done getting the rooms she had the man take her to the bosses house. The house was on the outskirts of the town. It was not a nice looking house it looked more like a broken down shack. He told them that this was the place the guy said he saw the boss. Lina let the guy go for now but later she was going to find him again then she would have her fun. The man took off he just hoped she would for get about him.

 

Lina paid the man no attention as he took of running. She instead was looking at the house would be shack. "Hey Gourry you think this might be a trap it looks pretty suspicious to me." Gourry couldn't agree more with Linas words. With out waiting for his reply she went into the shack Gourry following close behind. In the shadows of the dark room a man watched as they walked in. 'Soon Miss Lina Inverse you will be helping weather you wise to or not. ' An evil smile crossed his lips as he watched them pass by going into the next room.
