Sonic Series Fan Fiction ❯ A New Shadow ❯ You Came Back ( Chapter 4 )

A/N: Sorry I haven't updated lately. My friend Ben, you know, Tails_Worship14 won't get his lazy ass off the TV couch and type this up. So, here it is.

 

Chapter 4: You Came Back!

 

 

Knuckles arrived at Station Square.

 

“Jesus, what's gotten into me? McDonalds? I really goofed big time. Who am I kidding, I still love her, but Shadow proposed.”

 

“I guess you've had a tough time.”

 

Knuckles noticed a shadow behind nearby a car.

 

“Who's there?” Knuckles asked.

 

“It's me.”

 

“What?”

 

“Frost!”

 

The being stepped out from behind the car. The figure was a white cat with a sky blue shirt with a blue circle and some jeans. She was wearing white gloves and blue shoes.

 

“You came back!” exclaimed Knuckles.

 

“Yeah, I guess I just missed this place.”

 

“Wow,” she said, “I haven't seen you in awhile”

 

“I know, what have you been up to lately?” asked Knuckles.

 

“Hangin in there, you know. How about you?” she replied.

 

“Chasing after the Chaos Emeralds, stopping a jewel thief from stealing the Master Emerald” he said.

 

“Figures”

 

“Are you makin enough?” asked Knuckles.

 

“Just enough to get by,” Frost replied.

 

“Well, why don't you come over to my place tonight. You've probably had a really long trip.”

 

 

 

“That's for sure! Thanks!”

 

“No prob.”

 

Knuckles and Frost started walking back to Knuckles place, and ran into Sonic and Amy.

 

“Who's this Knuckles?” asked Sonic.

 

“Oh,” Knuckles replied, “Just an old friend.”

 

“Nice to meet you, I'm Frost.”

 

Frost put her hand out. Amy and Sonic shook hands with her.

 

“So,” Amy asked, “how do you know each other?”

 

“I met her doing emerald work. Here's the story,

 

 

* Flashback *

 

 

Knuckles was running after Eggman in Station Square when he accidentally ran into a little girl.

 

“Sorry, uh,”

 

The little girl cut her off.

 

“Wow, your chasing a bad guy!!! Cool! Want to see my power?”

 

“Huh?”

 

The little girl throws out her arm and an ice bolt flew out.

 

Knuckles was awestruck.

 

“Could you freeze that guy over there for me?”

 

He points to Eggman. She nods her head. The little girl runs and shoots ice bolts out of her hands. She froze Eggman and ran back to Knuckles.

 

 

 

* End Flashback *

 

“We have been friends ever since,” finished Knuckles.

 

“That's cool,” Amy said.

 

“Yeah, so, I'll see you two later,” said Knuckles.

 

“Okay,” said Sonic, “bye.”

 

Sonic and Amy left. And Frost and Knuckles went to Knuckles place.
