[ P - Pre-Teen ]

Maria didn't listen to what Shadow said and went along with them, Shadow did too. For now,
their only problem was that they didn't have a space ship to travel in, they knew exactly where to
get one. There were many space ships in Eggman's old lab in the pyramid. The only problem
was that there were even more traps and tricks than before, Eggman hadn't left without making
sure his base was safe.

"Witch pyramid are we looking for anyway?"Burlow asked.

"Uh... The one with his name on it?"Gierin asked.

"Yeah, that's the one. But how do we get in?"

"Take this map. First you go a few miles north and then go east for two miles."Shadow said.

Gierin flew everybody over to the pyramid, then Burlow and Maria had to get into the pyramid
and find a safe way to do it. The two of them raced into the pyramid but it was dark and there
were all kinds of paths that could get them lost, Burlow and Maria both grabbed a torch and
started to explore.

"Maria, look at this!"Burlow screamed as he spotted some poorly drawn hieroglyphics.

"What about it? It's just a picture of a ghost hugging your dad."Maria asked.

Suddenly, a ghost came up from behind Maria and gave her a big bear hug.

"Agh! Burlow, help! It's strangling me!"Maria yelled as the ghost pulled tighter.

Burlow ran up and started to pull Maria away, the ghost let go and disappeared.

"Thanks, Burlow. I owe you one."Maria said, gripping her neck as if it had imploded.(Explosion
opposite)

"You're welcome. Look, isn't that the entrance to the center of the base?"Burlow pointed to a
brightly colored door.

Everybody went to the door...

"There must be a few space ships around here somewhere."Burlow said.

"The door's locked, you guys. Somebody needs to find the key."Maria said.

"No problem, we can find it. Right, Gierin?"

"What do you mean? Why do I have to find it?"


"Don't worry, I'll help you."Buvuu offered.

"Alright then. We're counting on ya."

Gierin began to look everywhere for the key, the key gave off the same kind of energy that the
Master Emerald did so this might be easy for once and to make it even easier, Buvuu was
helping. Gierin looked everywhere and caught the feel of the energy the key was giving off,
Buvuu could feel it too. The two followed the energy and met in the Egg Snake Chamber,
knocking heads by accident and making the sound of coconuts getting hit together.

"Gierin, the key is buried underground."Buvuu said.

Gierin moved him out of the way and she dug with all her might, not even Knuckles could match
that speed. When Gierin returned, her gloves were ripped up and her delicate hands were
covered in dirt, her claw-like fingernails blacker than ever.

"Found it."Gierin said.

Gierin unlocked the door and the group entered the base, everybody got into one of the space
ships and headed to the Mobians' hideout.
