Sonic Series Fan Fiction ❯ Believing My Heart ❯ My hero's Shadow ( Chapter 9 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
Amy fought and fought to free herself, tears streaming down the side of her face, clouding her horrified eyes. The weight of Flame's body was too much for her to push off with her arms and legs held down; Flame had laid on her in such a manner that prevented her from kicking too much. His breath was thick and heavy, sickening Amy. His moans and groans embarrassed her; such unwanted desire was poison to the young hedgehog. The humiliation of Flame being the first one to `Taint' her—What had she done to come to this position?
~Please stop… please, please stop this….~ Amy continued to weep, helpless in her pain and agony. He wasn't gentle with her, but fast paced and almost angry. He let out all his evil and unleashed it on her alone--every thrust was another demon of torture.
Flame chuckled in between thrusts and moans. “Its really tight… Amy… You must really be… A pure little…virgin… waiting for Sonic?” The mention of Sonic only made things worse for Amy. She had lost him… and for what? The lonely woods and some sick maniac? That wasn't how she had planned to spend her night, of course, so why was this all happening to her? She'd worked so hard….
~I don't deserve this… please someone just kill me… this is horrible…~ As flame's pace picked up, Amy's Sobs grew louder. The immense pain was too much for her to take, causing her to scream aloud. “No, NO!!! STOP!! PLEASE STOP!! STOP SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!! STOOOOOP!!!!!!!!” Her cries only made him go faster and faster, soon causing Amy to bleed. She wasn't “advanced” enough to handle such force, which Flame was unfortunately giving to her.
Amy was utterly helpless in the midst of hell.
~~~Elsewhere in the woods~~~
Shadow raced at a low speed through the woods, weaving through the trees and bushes placed here and there. He decided it would be better for him to approach with caution; he didn't want to be found out right away. He didn't even know what was in store for him once he got to the destination.
“This doesn't look too good… whose voice was that?” Although Shadow didn't know entirely who it was, he couldn't help but find out. Every time he replayed the scream in his mind, it reminded him of Maria… and he sure as hell wouldn't leave Maria to die in the middle of the woods. He couldn't leave this girl either.
He slowed down as he approached his destination. Now walking, he pushed the bushy wet leaves Aside here and there. It was hard to see in such darkness… Shadow had to depend almost entirely on the Cracking lightning to see his way through the deep forest.
The screams were now too loud to miss, despite the fact that thunder serenaded Along the rain. Shadow listened closely as the Girl begged for the other stranger to stop.
“Stop please, please I can't take anymore!!!!” It was hard for even Shadow to listen to her cries. She was in so much agony one would think she was dieing. She continued to beg, the stranger chuckling every now and then. ~That chuckle… its that idiot!!! And that scream… it could only be… that voice… its…~
BOOM!!!! Lightning Cracked again, confirming Shadow's suspicion. It was Flame… And not only that… but Amy as well. The onyx-colored hedgehog was shocked. He didn't think at this moment, but only reacted.
Almost in the blink of an eye, Shadow Landed a forceful kick in Flame's side, sending him flying into a nearby tree, breaking it. Flame rubbed his back angrily, attempting to stand up, but was only hit with another blow right across his face. He coughed up blood, unable to react quick enough. His face quickly turned a deep purple as well as his back, indicating serious internal bleeding. With all the force he could possibly produce at the time, Shadow landed one last kick into flame's stomach. The blow would be deadly on most people; it sent Flame flying through 3 trees—it took a very thick trunk to stop him from flying further. His stomach had been split open by the force; blood quickly seeped out, forming a puddle on the Forest floor. He was unconscious, maybe dead, but Shadow didn't feel like waiting around to see if he was or not. He walked slowly over to Amy, who curled herself into a ball, whining and weeping quietly.
“I… I wish I could die…” She mumbled softly between her cries. Shadow knelt beside her, Studying the state she was in. It was a sad site; She was usually so happy and energetic, confident and free, and yet now she was cold and shaken.
Shadow watched as blood seeped from between her legs, staining her fur. She was badly hurt, but he couldn't tell how severely. The onyx hedgehog gently grasped Amy's wrist, pulling her arm away from her face. She flinched at the touch, but soon noticed that it wasn't flame. In a low tone, Shadow whispered, “Its going to be alright now.” He scooped up Amy into his arms then quickly begun to race away from the woods, leaving Flame unconscious and hopefully dead.
~~~Meanwhile, Elsewhere~~~~
“Amy!!! Amy!!! AMY!!!!” Sonic dashed through the rain, determined to find Amy. He had no idea where she had gone… he had already checked her house as well as Vanilla's, and she wasn't at either location. He had gone to a couple other locations that Amy enjoyed as well, and still found nothing. Where else could he look?
“Damn… Amy…. What the hell have I done…?” he fell to his knees, slamming his fists into the soft soil in anger. “Where the hell can you be… shit… don't tell me you've gone and done something stupid… argh!!! I'M the stupid one… for doubting you…” although he could not tell due to the rain, a small tear trailed from his eye. He was frustrated, angry, and felt helpless. Amy could be anywhere, and he had no idea where to look first.
“And that damn Flame guy… where the fuck is he?” Sonic grasped a handful of soil, squeezing it tightly as if he were holding Flame's throat. “As soon as I find him… I'll kill him.” His words were grave and threatening. Even Sonic had felt as if someone else had spoken them; he'd never felt something like this before. As if something so important had been taken from him… and there was nothing he could do at all.
A large bolt of lightning cracked through the sky, lighting a path down to a distant Tree. The tall pine toppled over, smoke and a small flame lighting it's top. Sonic watched as the fire caught onto another tree, which barely spread thanks to the rain. “Hmm… its getting pretty dangerous around here… I better get going before I'm next.” He stood and began to continue running in the direction he had been for the past half hour.
~I hope you're alright… Amy…~
--An hour later--
Sonic continued looking for another hour until finally he was forced to give up. Amy was nowhere to be found… Could something of happened to her? Sonic had even checked the rest of the gang's houses, all of which had it's residence looking as well, and he had taken a brief run around angel island as well. Nothing to be found. It was as if she'd disappeared off the face of the earth.
Sonic stared up at the moon with sullen eyes; it was now waning. He felt the exact same way… slowly becoming less and less, losing his sense of self. Amy's disappearance had left part of him missing as well. He continued watching the moon as the Rainstorm softened, until finally he decided to go home. “I might as well… get some rest…”
He arrived at home within a couple of minutes, tired from running so much. He went to check for his house key which he kept hidden under a rock, but found it was gone. Sonic sighed, then opened his screen. Thinking he would have to pick the lock, he was surprised to see his door slightly opened. “That's strange… don't tell me someone broke in…” he sighed again, not wanting to have to deal with any thieves—not that he owned much.
The warn-out speed demon sluggishly flicked on a couple lights here and there, making his way to his bedroom. When he had confirmed that no one had stolen anything, he pushed opened the door, yawning and ready to collapse on his bed. What he saw instead of a nicely made seldom-used bed surprised him. Amy was curled up under the covers.
This was the last place Sonic would ever expect to find her at a moment like this. What was she doing there?
He raced over to her, finding that she was unconscious yet still breathing. Beside her stood a small note. It read:
Learn to take better care of your girl, Sonic. She was raped.
-Shadow
Sonic read the note over and over again in horror. His shock only grew as it finally sunk in—
It had been too late for him to have saved her.
