Chapter one

Childhood

Rouge was one the couch thinking to herself. It has been eight years since Shadow was supposed to be deceased. "I remember Shadow from my childhood I wish I could have told Shadow how I felt before he died Knuckles was a nice distraction," Rouge thought to herself. "But he was a asshole so I left him but Shadow was a sweet guy". "Twelve years ago I met that sweet black Hedgehog his name was Shadow".

Flashback

Rouge had just walked out the store with a bag of donuts. Three guys had approached her Sonic, Espio and Vector. "Well if it isn't Rouge the Bat what do we have here a bag of donuts". Vector snatched the bag. "Ooh chocolate watch yourself you might gain weight" Sonic snickered. Sonic threw the bag to Espio "I guess we are playing keep away" Espio said softly "Damn straight" replied Vector. Espio threw the bag to Vector then he threw it to Sonic. "Give it back now please guys I wanna go home" Rouge started to cry. "My god she is crying like a little bitch" Vector said gritting his teeth. "You want it back Rouge?" Sonic asked her smirking "well yeah" Rouge replied. "Suck my balls" Sonic threw the bag and grabbed his crotch.

"Screw off you bastards," said a mysterious voice. "Who the fuck are you?" asked Vector. "My name is Shadow, Shadow the Hedgehog now leave her the fuck alone and give the bag back to her before I make you" Shadow shouted to all three. "You might want to fuck off before I get serious" Vector said cracking his knuckles. "To hell with you" Shadow kicked Vector in the stomach making him lose his consciousness and punched Espio in the jaw making him pass out too. "I'll leave right now but this isn't the end" Sonic ran off.

Shadow looked in Rouges' direction who seemed to be sill crying. "Please don't hurt me," Rouge said backing away from Shadow. "Relax I am just giving this bag to you" Shadow just gave her the bag "Thank you you're sweet" Rouge hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. "Do you want to eat these donuts with me?" Rouge asked him " Yeah sure" Shadow and Rouge started eating the donuts and started a conversation. "You know I really like you" Rouge said looking in his direction. "I like you too" Rouge and Shadow put their hands on each other's cheeks and shared a passionate kiss. "I hope I get to see you again Rouge" Shadow said looking up at her "me too how about Saturday night we go out" "that sounds impeccable" Shadow said. "Impeccable?" Rouge looked confused "perfect" Shadow, said, "well then Saturday it is" Rouge replied with a smile.

End flashback

"Man why did he have to die I wish I could have made love to him before he sacrificed his life". Rouge started to drop tears "I love you Shadow the hedgehog".
