It was the sort of position Captain Dagerius had never been in before. He had never been so unaware of his ship's surroundings, he felt like a complete failure, and he was exactly that to an extent. His crew ran around aimlessly, some still trying to blast the 'Depredation' but it's sister ship 'Reprobate' was too close. Dagerius knew there was no was out of this situation
Dagerius snarled, smashing his foot through another spot in the wood directly to the right of the first hole he made
"FUCK!!! NO WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEYYYYYYYYYY!!!" He growled, hands thrashign around wildly, eyes crazed and heart in turmoil.
He finally came to his senses, the fear returning once again to his eyes, he grabbed the closest crew member, a scraggly-looking fennec boy with a bright red bandana, his fearful sapphire eyes bubbled with hoplessness as he was hoisted many feet off the ground, his fenned feet waving around in the air, trying to feel for solid ground, his hands to his throat, where Dagerius held him by none-too-gently. As the fennec blubbered for air, Dagerius snarled in his face, spittign in rage
"Where is my DAUGHTER?!" He said, a hint of worry in his voice. The fennec settled a bit, smiling at him.
"Awww, sir. No need to be worried about Scarlet, she's safe up in the crow's nest." He grinned cheesily. Dagerius shook the fennec violently in rage
"I AM NO WORRIER YOU CHEEKY LITTLE BASTARD!" and with a sickening yelp of pain, he impaled the fennec upon his blade. The little creature was light enough for Dagerius to turn towards Starboard and fling his sword, flickign his wrist, the body slid off at an amazing pace and sailed a ways untill the carcass hit the hull of the enemy ship with a dull thud. He snarled and walked forward, snatching a fox's tail. It yelped and came to attention.
"Get my daughter Scragg." Dagerius mumbeled as she continued on towards the captain's wheel. The fox nodded and dashed up the rope ladder, the width of the structure growing constantly thinner as he made his way skyward, as he came to the top he threw his weight forward, sliding into the crow's nest. As he landed with gentle grace he came face to face with the Serendipity's beauty. Scarlet Dagerius.
Scarlet paid no attention to the crew member, she merely stared towards the bow of the ship , golden green eyes strained to the distance, dirty blonde hair blowing towards port, some whisps infront of her face. Was she ever slender, perfectly proportioned and flaunted it well. Form encapsulated in a two piece ensamble, top was one shoulder red and white striped top that ended right below her arm-pit on her left and cascaded diagonaly to the top of her right hip-bone, the same material sat low on her hips, tied on the right and the material cascaded diagonally from the top of her left hip to her right knee. She had an anchor tattooed on her ankle and a heart with sabers and a crossbone on her right shoulder.
"Mistress Dagerius, your father is searching for you." Scragg delivered, his nose tilted upward at a slight angle, chest inhaled deeply to try to exaggerate his very small presence. Scarlet snorted, starign out into the raging waters, the ship lurched and Scarlet gently rolled with the movement, hips rocking twards the right, left leg giving out, she seemed extremely experienced.
On the other hand Scragg stumbeled to the side, falling in the crow's nest, huddeled there quietly. He got back up and dusted his knees off
"Your father requests your presence, Princess." He snickered, quirking a playful brow. Scarlet sneered in contempt, grabbing him by the throat, long scarlet nails piercing his skin, inch by inch sliding into his neck muscles
"Don't ever call me princess again, shit bag." She said calmly, staring coldly into his eyes. He grabbed at her wrists, tryign to unlatch them from his neck without success, eyes filled with great horror as he tried to pull away.
"I'm so sorry mistress, please forgive Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee." And with suprising ease, Scarlet hurled him out of the crow's nest, turning back to watch the war around her and grinning triumphantly as a sickening thud was heard from the body slamming into the ground.
Captain Dagerius snarled, picking up the unconcious fox and slinging him across the deck, he looked towards the Crow's nest and merely waved his sword, bidding her presence immediately. Scarlet nodded.
In one easy leap, she sailed out of the crow's nest, weight thrown forward across the rim of the basket. She felt her stomatch fly into her throat, zero gravity gripping her entire form, she grunted as she pulled her knees to her chest, holding them close, she somersaulted several times in the air before gently landing on the deck, easily 11 meters below the crow's nest. Her father was unphased. He took his daughter by the shoulder and walked her to the stern of thr ship.
"Scarlet... I'm sorry but this dream is done for, and so is mine. I will go down with this ship, it was my destiny, but not you... You have so much to live for and I know you'll grow up to be a powerful figure, don't let me down Scarlet." He pulled the speechless wolf-girl to him, wrapping his arms around her, planting a gentle kiss upon her forehead. He closed his eyes and sighed heavily, Scarlet tilted her head back, trying to look over his chin.
"Dad, wait... What do you- AUUUGGHHHH!!!" She screamed in horror as her father lifted her up and threw her out into the raging ocean waters.
