Back at the Hideout......
"I dunno boss," the dark green hedgehog said, "That guy was pretty tough."
Kuro's nose had stopped bleeding for the most part, but was slightly bet due to the severity of the damage. "That guy broke my nose! Nobody gets away with something like that, NOBODY!!!"
"Boss, calm down-" He was cut off by Kuro slamming him into the wall.
"Listen Swipe, I want you to get that guy and bring him here!"
Swipe backed down onto the ground. "B-But boss, h-how?"
"I DON'T CARE!! JUST BRING HIM TO ME!" Kuro yelled. "NOW GET OUT THERE BEFORE I KILL YOU!"
Swipe ran out of the hideout before Kuro took his next breath, andbegan running through the dimly lit streets.
"Sometimes I wonder why I even work as his lacky."
Swipe began running until he saw the gray fox holding his beloved hedgehog. He stayed a distance of about a hundred yards away to make sure he was not noticed. He continued following them; every single twist and turn for alley and alley. When he thought there was going to be no stop, the gray fox stopped at an apartment building. Swipe let out a small chuckle. "This'll be fun."
Blast's P.O.V.
( I continued carrying Fiona through the apartment complex until I reached my room, number 214. I pulled out my key, unlocked the door and went inside, setting Fiona on my bed. She looked so peaceful...so relaxed. I shut the door and locked it, for her safety. I went into the bathroom and turned the faucet on, waiting for the water to heat up. When I thought it was warm enough, I put the plug into the drain and waited for the water level to rise enough. When it was ready, I turned the faucet off and went back to Fiona and saw that she was awake. )
"Hey there. You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Fiona replied, "Just a little sore is all."
"I decided to get a bath running for you..It's ready." He led Fiona to his bathroom, where the water had gotten just to that temperature where it was hot enough to begin evaporating, but not too hot as to go beyond the soothing feeling on your skin. She stared at the bath tub, then at Blast. "You didn't need to do this for me."
"You were attacked and hurt, it's the least I can do. Just enjoy it and come out whenever you're done, okay?" Fiona simply replied with a small nod. Blast left the bathroom and shut the door.
Fiona removed her clothing and shivered from her bare skin to the air. She quickly got in the water, letting it relax her body, mind, and soul.
Fiona's P.O.V.
( Blast is such a good person. He saved me from Kuro and his men, he comforted me, he even took me into his apartment and started up a bath for me. He's not that bad looking either......I wonder if....I might.... )
Blast sat on the bed and turned on the TV, hoping to find something good on. There was something on about a robbery. He was going to change the channel, but what he heard changed his mind.
"A black echidna was caught on film robbing this weapons store. The police don't know why he stole the ammunition, but they spectulate that it will be an average run-of-the-mill robbery."
The woman put her hand to the ear peice she had in.
"This just in, it seems that the same black echidna has robbed ANOTHER store, this time leaving a message behind." The screen went to a security camera, revealing none other than Kuro.
"Blast the Fox, if you get this message, you'd BETTER be afraid, cuz I'm coming back for what's mine. You know who I'm talking about. Once she 'disappears', the next time you'll see her...." He just laughed manacally and the camera shut off.
Blast turned off the television. ( I won't let Kuro get to her. I'll protect Fiona, no matter what. )
