- The scene: Station Square Park at dusk. Sonic and Amy are seen walking down one of the trails together. -

Amy: What a way to end the day. A nice evening stroll through the park, with my one and only Sonic.

Sonic: (chuckles slightly) I hope you enjoyed today, Amy.

Amy: I sure did.

Sonic: Listen, um, there's a reason why I wanted us to come here tonight.

Amy: Yes?

Sonic: I wanted to talk to you. Why don't we sit down before I begin? (after Sonic and Amy sit on a park bench) Ever since what's been going on recently - with Eggman not being around and no other danger threatening to destroy the world - I've come to know you better than I ever have before. You're an excellent girl, Amy. The best I've ever known.

Amy: (with slight shock and happiness) Wow. I'm happy to hear that, Sonic. I'm glad we're able to spend more time together nowadays.

Sonic: I have a confession to make. (takes Amy's hand, then) I love you.

Amy: (with tear of joy in her eyes) Oh Sonic. I love you too. (hugs Sonic; he hugs her back at the same time)

- A small gust of cold wind kicks up. -

Sonic: Brrr! I didn't expect wind like that.

Amy: (jokingly) It is Halloween, silly. It's gotten colder out.

Sonic: No. That gust of wind didn't feel right. It had some strange…presence in it.

- Another stronger gust of wind kicks up. -

Amy: Now I feel it.

Sonic: (looks at watch) It's getting late. The park will be closing soon. Why don't I walk you back to your apartment?

Amy: Okay.

- Sonic and Amy rise from the bench and begin walking towards the park's exit. But the two somehow lose their way. Sonic and Amy don't realize it until they find themselves in front of a huge mansion. -

Sonic: What's this?

Amy: I've taken walks through the park before, and I can tell you this building was never here until now.

Sonic: Should we investigate it?

Amy: I don't know, Sonic. It looks too creepy. Personally I would just turn around and go back the way I came.

Sonic: (thinks about what Amy said) You may be right. We'd best leave here.

- Before either of them can make an effort to leave, some supernatural force lifts them off the ground and floats them through the mansion's open doors. Once they touch the floor inside, the doors close. -

Sonic: What the hell was that?!

Amy: (tries to open the doors) They're locked. (takes out Piko Piko Hammer and tries to open the doors with that, but fails) What do we do?

???: Brehr rehr rehr ruhr rohr…

- Sonic and Amy turn around simultaneously, only to see… -

Sonic and Amy: King Boom Boo!

King Boom Boo: Yahahahahahahahaha!!

- The floor falls out beneath Sonic and Amy's feet, and they fall into what looks like a different world, similar to the one from Mystic Mansion… -
