- The scene: inside a mysterious alternate dimension, which vaguely resembles the one from Mystic Mansion. Sonic is seen lying unconscious on the floor. -

Sonic: (wakes up) Huh? What's this? (stands up) It looks familiar… (calling out) Amy?! Amy?!

- No response is heard, but he tries again anyway. -

Sonic: Amy?! Where are you?!

Amy: (in the distance) Sonic!

- Amy comes running through the hallway, panicked by something. -

Amy: Sonic! Thank God he hasn't gotten you yet.

Sonic: Who hasn't gotten me yet?

Amy: King Boom Boo! He's out to possess anyone he sees! And right now, he's after me!

Sonic: After you? Why you?

Amy: I was the first thing he saw! I was just able to get away from him a little while ago, but he could pop up outta nowhere anytime!

Sonic: I'll protect you, Amy. Don't worry.

Amy: I should pray that you're able to. A ghost isn't like anything you've faced before.

Sonic: Hey, Knuckles held him off.

Amy: But he got King Boom Boo caught in sunlight! There are no windows here!

???: Brehr rehr rehr ruhr rohr…

Amy: Oh no!

- King Boom Boo then pops out of thin air, instantly surrounding Amy. -

Amy: (holds head in extreme pain) Nnnnnrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!

- King Boom Boo disappears, and Amy falls down onto the floor, unconscious. -

Sonic: Amy! (rushes to her side) Amy, wake up! Wake up!

- Amy does wake up, but with the same ghostly face she had had once before. -

Sonic: (jumps back) What?! Amy?

- Amy gets up, takes out her Piko Piko Hammer, and tries to swing it at Sonic. He easily dodges it however. -

Sonic: Oh my God! She's possessed!!

- Sonic runs away in fright, with Amy somehow hot on his tail. After the two have traveled through the hallway for several seconds, Amy suddenly vanishes. Sonic notices this, worrying what could've happened. -

Sonic: Amy? Where'd you go?

- Amy reappears next to Sonic and hits him in the crotch with her hammer. -

Sonic: Oooooooooooooooooooooooo! (falls down onto his side)

- Amy sends a direct attack from above, but Sonic is able to roll out of the way. -

Sonic: I don't think so. (gets up) You may have bruised my balls, but I can still take you down.

- Amy swings several hammer attacks at Sonic. He dodges them, although not to the same extent as he previously could. When Amy swings the hammer again, Sonic grabs it from her. -

Sonic: Take this!

- He swings the hammer at Amy's head. The attack connects, and Amy falls down onto the floor, going into some convulsions for a few seconds. King Boom Boo can be faintly seen coming out of Amy's head. -

Sonic: Amy! You okay?

Amy: (wakes up) Sonic! (hugs him) Sonic, that was so scary!

Sonic: Calm down, Amy. You're safe now.

Amy: How'd you do it, anyway?

Sonic: I don't know how it worked, but a blow to your head forced King Boom Boo out.

Amy: You mean, you hit me?

Sonic: You were about to kill me!

Amy: That ghost is going cuckoo.

Sonic: He better not come back, cuz I'm gonna show him what happens when he tries to possess my girlfriend!

King Boom Boo: Yahahahahahahahaha!!

- King Boom Boo appears and surrounds Amy again. -

Amy: (holds head again) No! Not again!

- Amy falls to her knees, and she assumes the ghostly face again. -

Sonic: Ugh…When will this end?

- Sonic tries to grab the Piko Piko Hammer again, but Amy moves it out of the way and smashes Sonic into the wall. -

Sonic: Oh yeah? Watch this!

- Sonic runs up the wall and jumps behind Amy. But she twists her head around 180 degrees to face Sonic. -

Sonic: Whoa! No way!

- The rest of Amy's body then twists around, and she grabs Sonic by the neck and lifts him off the ground. -

Sonic: (through some chokes) Amy! Can you still hear me? (pause, then) Amy, try to fight it! Do something to free yourself! (another pause)

Amy: Sonic? (lets go of Sonic and goes into convulsions again)

- King Boom Boo comes out of Amy's head again and then disappears. -

Amy: It worked!

Sonic: What worked? How'd you free yourself?

Amy: All I had to do was think of you. Ghosts hate positive feelings like love, remember?

Sonic: Yeah, that's right. Now we have to get out of here before he returns again.

Amy: How? You see an exit around?

Sonic: I can probably Chaos Control us out of here.

Amy: But you don't have a Chaos Emerald with you.

Sonic: I taught myself to do it on demand. Get close to me. (Amy gets close to Sonic) Chaos Control!

- Nothing happens, however. -

Sonic: It didn't work.

Amy: What went wrong?

Sonic: I don't know. It should've. Why not?

???: Because the only abilities that can break the laws of physics in this dimension are mine! Hahahaha!

Sonic: (shouting out) King Boom Boo! Show yourself!

- King Boom Boo reveals himself in front of Sonic and Amy. -

Sonic: King Boom Boo, why are you doing this?

Amy: Why are you possessing me over and over again?

King Boom Boo: It's Halloween! I must cause mischief tonight! And you just happened to walk right up to my doorstep!

Sonic: Do you even realize our importance? If I were possessed when Eggman strikes again with something super-powerful, who would be able to stop him?

King Boom Boo: I don't care! Yahahahahahahahaha!!

- King Boom Boo tries to possess Amy again, but she is able to resist it now that she knows how to counter it. King Boom Boo starts backing away slowly. -

King Boom Boo: What? Impossible! Why can't I retake control of you?

Amy: Because I love Sonic! And when that's on my mind, nothing can control me!

King Boom Boo: No! Must…escape!

- King Boom Boo flies down the hallway. Sonic tries to chase him down, but King Boom Boo is somehow able to move at Mach 1, making it hard for Sonic to keep up. -

Sonic: Come back here!

- A mysterious bell begins chiming somewhere in the distance. -

Sonic: Wait a minute. (looks at watch) It's midnight!

King Boom Boo: My time is up. (fades away)

Sonic: Whew. He's gone.

- The dimension around Sonic then begins to fade away itself, and soon Sonic and Amy are back in Station Square Park. -

Amy: Sonic, you're okay!

Sonic: What a night. I hope nothing like that happens again.

Amy: Sonic?

Sonic: Yes?

Amy: Thank you for helping me. You're the only one who had ever done such a thing like that for me before.

Sonic: Hey, I'm glad to help the one I love. (gets closer to Amy)

Amy: Oh Sonic. (she and Sonic kiss)

- The two remain in their kiss for a few moments. Sonic is the first to speak after they stop. -

Sonic: So, should I bring you back to your apartment now?

Amy: Let's not get lost again, okay?

Sonic: Oh, don't worry. We'll be at your house in no time. (takes Amy's hand) Hang on! (runs off with Amy at Mach 1)
