ARK 2

Sonic and Tails arrived at the Military base that Mecha-Sonic was supposed to be at. But when they got there, they found everyone in a panic and a large smoking hole in the roof of the complex.

"What the hell's going on here?" Sonic asked
"Looks like Mecha-sonic already woke up!"

"Let's go up there and take a look" Sonic said as he pointed to the roof. Then tails grabbed his arm and flew up and through the hole.

"Looks like you were right Tails. It also looks like Mecha-Knuckles wasn't woken up…Better take out its chip just to make sure. Then we can bring it to Angel Island and you can try and figure out a way to deactivate it, so that we can do it to Mecha-Sonic if we get into a fight with him"

"Good Idea Sonic" Tails said as he pulled out a screwdriver and Unhinged Mecha-Knuckles' head and then took out the chip. They then flew out the top.

Meanwhile, Knux was resting and guarding the Emeralds when he saw something coming towards him 'what the hell is that?' before it got closer he was bashed in the back of the head…he was conscious long enough to see the large white wolf standing over him holding a thick tree branch laughing.

After Drago had done his work, he grabbed Knuckles by the head and tossed him into the jungle. Mecha-Sonic flew in and set Fiona and Shadow down before landing himself.

Fiona walked over to Drago and passed him saying "Good Job" to the chaos emeralds that were near where Knuckles had been. She gave two for Drago to carry, two for Shadow to carry. Then she walked over to Mecha sonic.

"Now I have to boost up Mecha-Sonic's power with this one" she said, holding up one of the Emeralds she had. She messed around with the back of Mecha-Sonic's head and then placed an Emerald in the back of it.

"If I did this correctly…" Fiona muttered as she looked at her hand and typed numbers quickly into the key pad on the back of it. A large sphere of energy encircled the group. "Yup" she said happily as she looked at the new force around them.

"What the fuck is this" Drago asked while marveling at the energy.

"This is a field to hold air in so that while we're traveling through space to Dr. Robotnik's old laboratory you two won't die of suffocation" she stated while looking at Shadow and Drago. She put a tired face on and merely said "Be grateful" as Mecha-Sonic lifted them off into the sky.

An all too cheery voice spoke up over the loud speaker <Welcome abord ARK2! Please wait for the outside doors to close before entering and or taking off your air safety equipment, for if you do any of these you will not be able to breath or will be thrown out into space dying a horrible horrible death! And if you have both doors open at the same time we will all be thrown into the black oblivion called space! Thank you for choosing ARK 2! I hope you have a nice stay! ^-^> it sounded like one of those bubbly blonds portrayed on TV and Movies.

The devious group walked into the space station. It was a circular room, gray shades of color were primarily used for the walls. Dark gray carpeting was on the floor. There was a white revolving chair in the middle of the room. A screen was placed on the curved wall in front of the center chair. Also, right in front of the chair, there was a command post and control switches and leavers.

The voice came again<Welcome to the Command deck! This is where Doctor Robotnik controls this vessel. We have done a test and can tell that most of you are new life forms to this station. I hope that you are not un-invited, for if you are the Doctor may surely destroy you all! ^-^> it said joyfully <Oh…and Hello Fiona…-_-> it said now annoyed, but still sounding like a teenage cheerleader.

"Hello Amber…" Fiona growled to the voice, while clenching her fists. "I had hoped you would be gone…"

A teenage girl with brown hair and pony tails appeared on the screen. <No such luck> she said mockingly then the girl stuck out her tongue.

<So who are these people!? And why did you bring them aboard this ship? I didn't get any warning from Dr. Robotnik! So if you brought these people here on your own you're going to be in big trouble with him!>

"Oh…did I forget to mention? DR's dead!"

<WHAT!? WHAAHAHAHA!> the girl on the screen who everyone now knew as Amber was crying. She stopped abruptly sniffling <And I never got to ask him…>

"Ask him what?" Fiona asked, now curious

<ASK HIM IF HE LIKED ME BETTER THAN YOU! HAHAHAHAHA!>

"You dumb bitch!" Fiona growled "Of course he didn't like you better! Who's the one with the body?"

<You're lying! Of course he liked me better! Cuz of my perky attitude…I'm not miss grumpy all the time>

"At least he gave me a real personality!" Fiona barked "He just copied some teenage girl from the surface to make you!"

Amber got an evil look on her face <Say one more thing against me and I shut down this station!>

"You fu…" Fiona was interrupted "QUIET!!" Shadow shouted

"I've had enough of both of your bitching at each other! Let us just get on with this!" he clenched his fist "How did he do it!"

Fiona responded quickly "Come with me"

She led him down to the basement laboratory

<Welcome to the…^-^> "SHUT UP! THEY KNOW WHAT IT IS!" Fiona shouted

<Fine…miss grumpy -_->

"This is where all of DR's great inventions have started or been created in"
<I was gonna say that -_->

"It was where I was created, where ditzy was created…" <HEY!> "and where the plans for Shadow started" Fiona said, while turning to Shadow…ignoring the annoying bouncy voice.

"So how did he do it?" Shadow pressed on, his voice cold and gruff

"Just a second" Fiona said as she started to look through some of Dr. Robotnik's papers

Shadow gritted his teeth.

"Ahh, finally" she picked up a paper and read it as she typed in numbers into her keypad

<Oh great! You just had to go and get full control of this ship!>

"Your loss…really…cuz I'm going to erase you as soon as I get the chance!"

<Nice try! Robotnik had me permanently embedded into this station's computer…so if you try to shut it down, destroy it, copy it, I will still be there to ruin your plans…I'm so much embedded into the hardware that if you take me out the system would be ruined, and it would take years to replace…quite a setback eh? I told you he liked me best>

"Feh…that doesn't prove anything"

<You're just jealous>

Ignoring Amber "Lets go upstairs now, I need to show Shadow how Sonic did it so he'll stop complaining"

Shadow growled at this as they headed to the control deck.
