(Soft Rumbling)

The palace was still barricaded inside. Tikal was inside kneeling next to the master emerald when she soon sensed the activity taking place outside. She could practically tell it's robotnik breaking in.

Tikal: (worried) Oh, no.

Cut To:

Int. Egg Jet

Robotnik was still sitting in his chair.

Pilot: Sir, we have a problem.

Robotnik: What?

Pilot: (paused) The drones were destroyed, sir. During a heavy avalanche on the Ice Cap.

Robotnik: (growls) How long?!

Pilot: We have less than an hour to break the barricade.

Robotnik: What about our guest?

Pilot: No later than 2 hours, sir.

Robotnik: Good.

Cut To:

Ext.

Hard wind was blowing around trees before a speeding bluish blur passes them by.

Cut To:

Int. Hidden Palace

On Tikal

Tikal was in hiding as she looked and saw an interlocking square on the barricade. Tikal went back into hiding before taking a deep breath.

Cut To:

Int. Egg Jet

Pilot: Sir, it's complete.

Robotnik: Activate Cannon.

The pilot started typing on the console.

Ext.

A hatch opened from the middle of the jet as the cannon came out and aimed directly at the barricade.

Int.

The pilot typed some keys on the console.

Ext.

The cannon started pulsating energy and charging up with orange and yellow color.

On Robotnik

Robotnik: FIRE!

Int. Hidden Palace

The barricade bursted open with a big blast letting in piles of tiny rocks and debris. Dust fills the destroyed barricade. About 5 to 6 SWATbots came in to scan the area for the emeralds which isn't too hard to find. They were aware that no one was inside since it was deserted and locked. Wrong case scenerio. As soon as the swatbots approach further, someone came out from behind the rock-like wall. It was Tikal, who had her hands balled into fists and a look of strong courage inside aiming at the swatbots.

Tikal: (smirked) Hello, guys. Looking for something?

Cut To:

Int. Egg Jet

Pilot: Sir, someone's inside the palace.

Robotnik: (sits up) WHAT?!

The pilot activated the monitor screen as robotnik saw tikal standing over his 6 swatbots. Robotnik rubs his chin in thought.

Robotnik: (to himself) Hmm. Who is she?

The pilot looked at him dumbfounded.

Pilot: Uh, sir?

Robotnik: Shut up. I'm thinking.

Robotnik kept thinking til it dawned on him like a hammer.

Robotnik: (eyes widen) Can it be? The mythical girl from the inside of the master emerald? (paused, picks up intercom, on intercom) Swatbots...

Int. Hidden Palace

Robotnik: (from P.A) Apprehend the girl and the emeralds immediately!

The swatbots respond as their visors glowed. One of them aimed at tikal. Tikal extended her left hand and waves them on. The swatbot shot out a heavy net from its cannon gun.

Tikal: (noticed, scoffs) Please. HEAVEN'S JUSTICE!

Closing her eyes, she puts her hands together as wind gathered around her. She opened her glowing eyes and smirked before she opened her hand and a purple-white energy ball formed into it. She winds back and quickly threw the purplish white energy ball at the net. The ball curved and not only incinerated the net, but it hits the swatbot afterwards lethally paralyzing it as it exploded on impact.

Tikal: Who's next? Hmm?

The other 5 aims at her.

Tikal: (noticed, nods) Good answer.

All 5 swatbots fired in her direction. Tikal scrambled out the way hiding behind another rock-like wall. The lasers danced on the wall breaking the concrete.

Tikal: (panting) These guys are not making this easy.

She closed her eyes and prayed before opening them again. She started powering up with a whitish aura surrounding her.

Tikal: WRATH OF GAIA!!

With a quick amount of distortion, tikal wheels her arms and slammed hard onto the ground causing a massive earthquake to the ground. This shook the swatbots off balance as well as the Egg Jet. Tikal quickly got out. She yelled out her heaven's justice attack and fired multiple purplish energy balls at the intruders. Some swatbots were vaporized and destroyed. The earthquake soon stopped as tikal avoided the projectiles from 2 swatbots by doing many evasive maneuvering as she fired 2 more shots of Heaven's justice before going into hiding. The two swatbots got paralyzed and exploded into scrap.

Tikal: (chuckles) That's 6 down.

She blows at her fingertips of both hands and rubs her hands together. Tikal soon heard hard wind blowing from outside. She looked out and hoped that it was knuckles.

Tikal: Knuckles, is that you? Or you tincan motherfuckers want some more? Huh? If you're the one they call "Robotnik," you'll probably do better with your 6-packs if you think you're coming in here for the emerald! And if you think that piece of junk vehicle gonna fit in here, (laughs) You have got to be fucking with me to even think that! Bottom line is: If you want these emeralds, you'll have to get pass me! (looks around the mess) And seeing the development, I'd say there's no way in hell you can do that! (laughs)

Suddenly, within a blink of an eye, a tranquilizer dart hits tikal's neck.

Tikal: (grunts) Ow!

She takes the dart from her neck and looks at it angrily.

Tikal: Son of a B...!

Tikal didn't finish as she collapsed snoring on the ground. Outside, the front hatch opened from the Egg Jet as robotnik and a few swatbots entered. He saw tikal on the ground and grins.

Robotnik: So much for the loudmouth skank. (to swatbots) Get to work.

The swatbots carry out his orders.

Robotnik: (maniacal laughter)

Ext.

About a few miles from robotnik, Sonic and the gangs stopped and saw robotnik's Egg Jet taking off.

Knux: (shocked) Oh, my god. No!

Knuckles took a head start and ran to the palace with sonic and the gangs following as fast as they can. Upon arriving, they all gasped in shock to find the hidden palace emeraldless. Knuckles dropped to his knees as julie comforts him.

Knux: I can't believe it. The fat bastard took them. (paused, to sonic) Sonic, you gotta go and get it back. There's not much time.

Sonic: Why? What's wrong?

Knux: (panting)

Julie: You okay?

Knux: (nods) Yeah. (to sonic) If the emeralds not here, the island will fall.

Team X including Tails gasped in shock at hearing that.

Manic: You mean this whole island will fall into the ocean?!

Knux: (nods) Didn't your mother tell you?

Sonic/Manic/Sonia: No!

Knux: (shakes head, sighs) You gotta get it back.

Sonic: Yeah, sure. Only one problem. How the fuck am I gonna follow that jet?!

Knux: (sighs) You have a plane, do you?

Sonic: Yeah.

Knux: And you're Team X, are you?

Sonic/Manic/Sonia/Tails: Fucking A we are!

Knux: Well, ask like it! Use your fucking head and get to the plane!

Sonic: Knuckles, the plane is way back at angel island. After the avalanche we caused at the Ice Cap--

All: (except sonic, cuts him off) We?!

Sonic: You guys were in it too! I mean...

Sonic stops as they were all glaring at him.

Sonic: (sighs) Okay. After the avalanche I caused, how are we gonna get to the plane on time? Plus, I don't have my other shoes.

Knuckles thinks for a while before an idea came to him. He walks ahead of the others.

Knux: Follow me.

Int.

Sonic and the others followed knuckles to the center where the now gone master emerald should be. Knuckles climbed the pillars til he got to the top. He searched the back of the emerald altar and took out 3 glowing colored emeralds. Sonic noticed.

Sonic: Chao drives?

Knux: Yeah.

Knuckles jumps off the altar.

Knux: We use these for emergencies in case the master emerald was stolen. Robotnik never found it because we keep it hidden.

Sonia: Why would robotnik come back for the emeralds anyway?

Knux: I'm not sure just yet.

Knuckles gives sonic the blue emerald resembling his color, Manic the green, Sonia the purple. As soon as he did that, the chao drives glowed brightfully which nearly blinded the siblings. As the glowing ceased, the siblings opened their eyes. When they did, the chao drives were gone from their sight.

Sonic: Hey, what happened?

Knux: The chao drives are fused within you now.

Sonic/Manic/Sonia: (confused) Huh?

Knux: (sighs) They are inside of you. A part of you. Some shit like that.

Siblings: (nods) Ohhh.

Knux: (mocking) Ohhh. (clears throat) The 3 of you will be given special attacks beyond these chao drives.

Sonic: Okay. What are they?

Knux: Sonic, you're given the Sonic Wind attack. Manic, you acquired the Aftershock attack. And Sonia, you acquired the Psy Blast attack.

Sonia: Cool.

Tails: Hey, what about me?

Mighty: (snickers, to vector) Mr. Whiney.

Tails glared at him.

Tails: Shut up! (looks at sonic)

Sonic: You're into mechanics and weaponry supplies.

Tails: Ohhh! Oh, okay. So now I'm Mr. Mechanic and weapons supplier now, is that it?

A long pause was issued from the group.

Manic: Well, yeah.

Sonic: It makes you more dangerous.

Tails: Really? Well, dangerous is my middle name. (goofy laugh)

Manic: No it isn't. Tails is your middle name.

Tails: Hey, I love dangerous.

Manic: (under his breath) Yeah, I'll bet you do.

Tails: What's that you say? I didn't -- I didn't hear that. Say what?

Manic: (smiles) Nothing.

Tails: Yeah. You shut your mouth if you don't wanna see how dangerous I can get.

Manic: (sarcastically) Oh, no. We wouldn't want that.

Sonia gestures her fist to manic. Manic veers from her.

Sonia: Keep on, boy. Keep on.

Knux: (clears throat)

Manic: Girl, I wasn't even talking to you and you better get your fist out my face.

Sonia: Oh, you lean and mean now, huh?

Knux: (clears throat louder) Guys, can we save the hostilities for later. We got a job to do.

Sonic: Why you not coming?

Knux: I am not leaving this island unprotected. You out your mind, blue.

Sonic eyes the chaotixs. They noticed.

Julie: (shakes head) Uh-uh. Not the chaotixs. We are not leaving this island unprotected for something to happen.

Charmy: But some-

Julie: (cuts him off) Shut up!

Sonic had a pleading look on his face to knuckles.

Knux: (noticed, whines) Aww, don't give me that childish-ass look, blue. I used to give that to my momma once.

Sonia: (to julie) I slept with a guy who gives a freaky-ass look like that to his momma?

Julie: Hey, I did to. So we're both lucky.

Sonic: Please. Be a pal. Please!

Manic/Sonia/Tails: (snickers)

Knux: (groans) Alright. I'll meet you there momentarily. But you owe me one.

Sonic: (sighs) Okay, let me get my other shoes and go.
