Meanwhile on the floating Island, Knuckles and Julie was standing inches from the edge of the island looking forward.
Julie: You sure you don't want me to come?
Knux: You said youself you don't want to leave the island unprotected.
Julie: (nods) Well, that's true. Correct me if I'm wrong but...didn't you say that too?
Knux: Yeah. But that was before blue put on those little puppy dog eyes. Shit, I don't know why I put up with his ass. (chuckles)
Julie: (chuckles, looks down at ground)
Knuckles looked at her and lift her chin up with his hand.
Knux: Hey, don't worry. I'll be alright. You can count on it.
Julie: (chuckles) Get on out of here, you.
Knux: (chuckles) Okay. Go with the others.
Julie nods as she kissed knuckles on the cheek before departing the other direction. Knuckles turned and looked up at the blue sky. He slowly closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.
Knux: Hold on, Tikal. I'm coming.
Knuckles sprints across to the edge and took a high-flying leap into the air. Gliding, he flies high up til he was several inches from the island. He starts hovering in the air as he veers his left arm back while looking down with his right arm extended out. He quickly extends his left arm out before zooming down the sky like a meteorite.

Inside the tornado X, Team X all had their gears on as Tails saw the building up ahead.
Tails: (points) Thar she blows!
The others looked down and saw the 30 story building.
Sonic: All right, guys!
Sonic, Manic, and Sonia started hooking cables to their belt buckles.
Sonic: Let's hang tenth!
Manic and Sonia nods as Tails steers the plane towards the building.

Tikal was locked in a guarded cell room as she sat motionless inside. Two dingo guards in front of her cell were conversing. Tikal was sitting quietly when she sensed a strong presence somewhere. Her eyes widen before going into a straight face and smirk.

Robotnik was seated in his seat when...
(Intercom beeps)
Robotnik presses the button on the chair arm.
Robotnik: (on intercom) What is it?
Technician: (from intercom) Sir, the pieces of the emeralds are in place of the swatbots.
Robotnik: (on intercom) What about the G.U.N's bots?
Technician: (from intercom) They're in activation as we speak, sir.

Knuckles was soaring down from the skies gliding at the same time.

Sonic: Ready?!
Sonia/Manic: (winks, gives thumbs up) Ready!

Sonic leaps over and jumps off the plane hanging onto the cable. Manic and Sonia follows afterwards.
(Metal Music Playing)
Sonic, Manic, and Sonia soared down the skies as they were almost over the building.

(Alarms blaring)
Computer Voice: Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert!
Snively quickly got to his console and punched on the keys.

Robotnik heard the alarm before his intercom went off. He pressed the button on the arm of the chair.
Robotnik: (on intercom) Report!
Snively: (from intercom) Sir, we have intruders coming from outside.
Robotnik was gonna pull on an angry face but he subsides that with a smirk on his face. He leans back in his seat with his hands crossed.
Snively: (from intercom) Sir?
Robotnik: (on intercom) Snively, give our intruders a little test. Launch missiles.
Snively: (from intercom) Yes, sir.

Hatches open at the side of the building. Large cannons comes out the hatch of the 30 story building aiming at the target.

In the sky, Sonic turned and saw the development. His eyes widen.
Sonic: Guys, I think we got company!
Manic and Sonia looked down and saw the cannons aimed at them.
Manic: Looks like he knows we're here!
Sonia: No shit! Sonic, we gotta unhook!
Sonic: (nods) Agreed!
Sonic takes out an intercom.
Sonic: (on intercom) Tails, unhook us!
On Tails
Tails: (on intercom) What?!
Sonic: (from intercom) Robotnik knows we're here!
On Sonic
Sonic: (on intercom) And he's got cannons armed in our direction! Unhook us!
On Tails
Tails: (nods) Affirmative!
Tails flipped a switch on the panel.
On Siblings
The hooks detach from them as the siblings started falling.
On Robotnik
Robotnik: Fire!

The cannons fired as glowing red missiles started heading to the targets.
On Sonic
Sonic saw that several missiles were heading their way.
Sonic: Damn! (to sonia and manic) Grab onto me!
On Siblings
Manic and Sonia does as told. Manic and sonia flies towards sonic as manic grabs sonic's hand while sonia grabs manic's hand. Sonic had a determined look on his face as he balled his left hand. He closed his eyes before he shot them open again.
Sonic: SONIC WIND!!
Sonic glowed in a whitish bluish energy as he extended his left arm out. A large whitish energy ball shot out from sonic's hand as the ball heads towards the oncoming missiles. The energy impacts with the missiles as they collide and explodes on impact.
Some more missiles were coming pass the explosion.
On Sonic
Sonic noticed.
Sonic: Now, sony!
On Sonia
Sonia: (nods, closed eyes) PSY SHIELD!!
Sonia opened her eyes which are glowing purple.
On Siblings
Purple electricity sizzled and danced around the 3 hedgehogs before a large shield consumed them.
On Sonia
Sonia kept her eyes open as she tries to keep the shield stable. Her hair flowing in the wind.
On Siblings
Team X continues hovering down as the missiles came at a fast pace and impacts on them one by one. Each exploding on contact.
(Metal Music stops)
On Tails
Tails looked down with a worried expression on his face at the disaster.

Robotnik was watching this on the large monitor in front of him.
Robotnik: (grins evilly) That was too easy.
Ext. In the sky, knuckles was still zooming down the skies as he soon noticed the huge explosion not far from him.
Knux: Shit!
He continues zooming towards the disaster.

The smoke was still consuming the air. As soon as it cleared, Team X emerges without a scratch on them. They still had the shield protecting them.
On Tails
Tails saw them with an expression of shock and happiness.
Tails: Oh, my god!
On Knuckles
Knuckles saw this in total surprise.
Knux: Holy shit!

Robotnik saw this through the monitor in shock and disbelief. He slammed his fists on the arms of the chair rapidly in livid anger.
Robotnik: No! No! No! It's impossible! (on intercom) Fire again!

Sonic was smiling as he looked at sonia, who gave the thumbs up. Sonic quickly turned and heard more missiles blasting away at them. Sonic grits his teeth and takes out the intercom.
Sonic: (on intercom) Tails, we need a little help here!
Tails: (from intercom) Already on it!

Tails veered the plane to the side as he flipped a few switches and pressed some buttons.

The plane turned to the side and fired laser shots and green missile attacks at the oncoming red missiles. Some of the red missiles were destroyed and exploded on impact. Some red missiles hit the shield exploding on impact but did little harm to the siblings.
On Knuckles
Knuckles saw the predictament. He grits his teeth and started zooming forward faster towards the oncoming missiles.
Knuckles: (yells) Ahhhh!!
On Tails
Tails looked the other direction hearing that.
On Siblings
The siblings does the same looking the other direction.

A red blur zoomed down and destroyed the oncoming missiles. The missiles exploded in the air as the red blur passes through the smoke.

Sonic: What the hell was that?!

The red blur zoomed upwards landing on the top edge of the rooftop in the form of Knuckles. He was crouched down as he stands, turns around, and looks towards the siblings.

Knux: (on intercom) Sonic! You have to take out the cannons shooting the missiles!

Manic and Sonia pulls the string on their gears as their parachutes unleash.

Sonic balls his fist and grits his teeth.
Sonic: SONIC WIND!!
Sonic winds his left fist back before extending it and zooming down at a fast pace toward the cannons. Glowing in white bluish energy, sonic soars down like a meteorite before colliding into the side building creating a hole in the middle. Bluish white energy sizzled on the wall before destroying the cannons one by one as each one explodes.

Snively: (from intercom) Sir, the cannons have been destroyed.
Snively didn't get a response from robotnik as he was seated in his chair. His eyes twitching in anger along with gritted teeth.
