The light was shining and the heat was hotter as Sonic and Tikal was on top of each other. Specifically, Sonic on top, Tikal on bottom. They started locking lips sensually and rubbing each others boddies as the light shoned on them throughout the jailcell. Although this was going on, Sonic and Tikal was beginning to forget that the jail cell was even there as Sonic's hand made its way to Tikal's hip. She felt it before helping Sonic undo her panties. Sonic's eyes were closed after that kiss before chuckling a little.

Both Sonic and Tikal starts to get up as Tikal gazes Sonic's body pretty long.

Sonic: Recently. Most of the time I run.

Tikal smiles before holding out her hands. A small whitish glow appeared before vanishing. In her hands were shaded sunglasses as Sonic takes them and puts them on.
Sonic: By the way, that fainting stuff. Did you fake that shit up or what?
Tikal: Actually, it wasn't a fake. Once I'm out the emerald for too long, I faint and vanish.
Sonic: (cock-eyed) Vanish?
Tikal: Disappear. I'm a spirit.
Sonic: (eyes widen, looks from her, to himself) Oh, god. I made love to a fuckin' spirit?
Noticably, Tikal heard him.
Tikal: Not entirely.
Sonic: (looks at her) What do you mean "Not Entirely?" Didn't you say--
Tikal: (cuts him off) The longer I stay in the outside world, the more mortal I become. I'm only a spirit when inside the emerald.
Sonic: Oh. So, you fainted not because you're vanishing, but because you might become more mortal.
Tikal: (nods) Exactly. Now can I do this?
Sonic: Wait a minute. Why didn't knuckles tell me about you?
Tikal: You didn't ask. Queen Aleena was suppose to tell you. She didn't tell you?
Sonic: Wh--(scoffs) No, she didn't tell me! You know, if I didn't know any better, I think mom wants us to find out on our own.
Tikal: (chuckles) Well, something like that. Now, can I do this?
Sonic: (sighs, waves her on) Be my guest.
Tikal: Thank You.
Tikal stood still and closed her eyes while cupping her hands together. A whitish glow surrounded her body as Sonic watched her before a thought came to him.
Sonic: Wait!
Tikal still kept her eyes closed before responding.
Tikal: I know what you're gonna say and don't worry about it!
Sonic took her words for it as Tikal extended both her arms. The light got brighter as Sonic looked in astonishment through his shades. The bright light quickly vanished as Tikal was now seen in her regular clothes as well as Sonic was. Tikal was about to walk pass Sonic, who was about to say something before she raised up a hand.
Tikal: Not a word. Let's go.
Sonic stood there cock-eyed for a while before following her.

Sonia: Psy Blast!!
Sonia's energy blast penetrated 3 G.U.N's bots that exploded on impact. Sonia hits the ground before quickly getting up.
Knuckles and Manic approached her.
Sonia: What the hell happened?
Manic: What you mean?
Sonia: It felt like time has stopped or something.
Manic: Oh, yeah. I felt it too. (to knux) What was that?
Knuckles rubbed his chin in thought before coming to that realization.
Knux: Tikal.
Manic: What?
Knux: She stopped time. Blue found her.
Sonia: (relieved sigh) Good. We can continue on.
They continued walking down the corridor. Knuckles knew exactly what happened during their shift in time. But didn't want to reveal it to Manic and Sonia.
Sonic: (V.O) Question.
Cut To:
Int.
Inside another part of the place, Sonic and Tikal were walking in a dark corridor.
On Sonic and Tikal
Tikal: Yeah?
Sonic: If this technique of yours can stop time, how come I wasn't effected?
Tikal: Because during the technique, I focused through your mind to alter motion.
Sonic: (nods) Oh.
They resume walking.

Snively was seated in front of his computerized monitor console, blinking his eyes a few times. He was obviously unsure of what just happened.
(Computer Beeps)
He shakes his head a bit and draws his attention back to the monitor screen. He had a big smile on his face after catching sight of someone.
Snively: (chuckling) Well, well.
Cut To:
Int.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: You know where they're stashing the Mater Emerald?
Tikal: Yes. But it's more complicated than that.
Sonic: What do you mean?
Tikal didn't get a chance to ansswer. And before they could turn a corner, a laser fire hits the edge wall inches from them. Sonic and Tikal evades back before a second laser fire came and missed.
Tikal: What was that?
Sonic made an attempt to look out and find 5 to 6 defense turrets blocking their path to an elevator.
On 1st Turret
The 1st turret charged and fired again as Sonic evades back, while the laser hits the edge wall again.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: Shit. The elevator is right behind those turrets.
Tikal: We can't use our attacks.
Sonic: Why not?
Tikal: Because it won't work against them. Unless...
Sonic: Unless what?
Tikal: Well, try charging.
Sonic: (nods) Good idea.
Sonic balls his left fist and closed his eyes to concentrate. His fist glows a bright whitish color. He intensifies the energy before shooting his eyes open.
Sonic: (echoes) Sonic Wind!!
He got out and threw the energy ball at the 1st turret.As soon as it impacts, electricity sizzles around the turrets.
Sonic: (to Tikal) Get back!
Sonic and Tikal went back into hiding.
On Turrets
The single turret started rapidly shooting out of control with the lasers, destroying the other 5 in the process. The fire power was nearly missing Sonic and Tikal, but then, one single laser soon knocked off and burned a small chunk of Sonic's rear end.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: (wide-eyed, in pain) Aah!!
Tikal covers his mouth as Sonic's muffled scream continues before he closed his eyes and stopped.
On Turret
The turret kept firing til it explodes to pieces while sparks rain from the damage.
On Sonic and Tikal
Tikal uncovers his mouth.
Tikal: You okay?
Sonic: (groans in pain) No. My god...it hurts like hell. Shit!
Tikal: Turn around.
Sonic turns around as Tikal examines the injury. She could only see a burn spot on there.
Tikal: (scoffs) You really are a cry-baby.
Sonic: What?
Tikal: You lost only a chunk of your rear. It's only a scratch.
Sonic: (looks at her) You gotta be kidding me! It hurt like hell and you're telling me that it was just a scratch?!
Tikal: That's what I'm saying.
Sonic: (groans)
Sonic and Tikal looked out at the mess.
Sonic: Good plan, by the way.
Tikal: Thanks.
Sonic: Let's go.
Sonic and Tikal ran passed the damaged turrets to the elevator despite the pain that Sonic sustained. They got inside and the double door closed.

On Monitor
On the monitor, Snively was eyeing the situation.
Snively: You're not getting away that easily, hedgehog. (types on console)
Int.
Inside the elevator, Sonic cringes from his injury.
Tikal: (noticed) You're gonna be alright.
Sonic: I've noticed. Thanks. (groans) What did you mean what you said when I asked about the Master Emerald?
Tikal: Robotnik has uploaded the Chaos Emerald into the Swat-Bots. So, they'll be more complicated to defeat.
Voice: Indeed they will.
Sonic and Tikal almost got startled by the voice.
Tikal: Who was that?
Sonic gazed the speaker at the side as Tikal noticed and did the same.
Voice: I'm obviously surprised that you've escaped those defense turrets and are heading to the emeralds. Too bad you "fell" for the next trick I designed.
Tikal: What are you talking about?
Voice: Happy Landing!
Suddenly, the elevator started shaking and rumbling as Sonic and Tikal got off balance and were desperately trying to stand up.
Tikal: What happened?!
Sonic: He loosed the elevator! We're gong down the shaft!
Tikal: Oh, great! Any ideas?!
Sonic: Why?!
Tikal: Because it's your turn as I recall!
Sonic puts his brain to work before looking up and found an escape hatch. He balances himself a bit before leaping up. At full force, he broke through the hatch open before using his hand, hanging onto the frame opening. He looks in the elevator and extends his arm to Tikal.
Sonic: Take my hand!
Tikal: (nods)
She balances herself before leaping and grabbing Sonic's hand. Sonic pulled her up. They were now on top of the falling elevator. Sonic eyes the cables and looked up. He looks at Tikal.
Sonic: On Three, we grab these cables!
Tikal: (nods)
Sonic: One...Two...Three!
They both quickly grabbed the cables as the elevator continues downward before crashing all the way to the bottom creating a huge crater and busting open the double door.
Sonic and Tikal saw this in shock.
Sonic: Damn!
Tikal: I'm glad we're not in it! (looks up) Too bad we have to climb all the way up there.
Sonic: (shakes head) Not necessarily. We're actually going down. Ready?
Tikal nods and held on as she and Sonic started sliding down the cables to the reckus. As soon as they were at the bottom, they jumped out of the 1st floor avoiding the reckus. The 1st floor was like a huge mechanical place. The walls were metallic as well as the floor, and many medium-size metallic crates were there. A large mechanical blast door was about a few feets from their position.
Sonic: (looks at Tikal) Are we close?
Tikal: (looks at him)
Voice: Not by a long shot?
Sonic and Tikal looked forward.
On Nack and Nic
There, they saw Nack and Nic Weasel walking from the side by the door, blocking thier path.
Nic: Hello, Kal.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: (raises eyebrow) Kal?
Tikal: That's Tikal to you, Nicolette.
Sonic: (looks at Tikal) Since when were you girls on a first name basis?
Tikal: (looks at Sonic) Since we first met.
Sonic: (nods) Ah. I take it you girls weren't the best of friends when Eggman captured you.
Tikal: Believe me. This bitch put up a hell of a fight. I'm beginning to wonder if she's eaten her spinach.
Sonic: (chuckles)
On Nic
Nic: I heard that, skank!
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: (looks at Nack)
Tikal: (looks at Nic) Excuse me?
On Nack and Nic
Nack: You heard her! Now if you're going for the emerald, (spreads arms out) you'll have to get pass us.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: (inhales) No problem. (to Tikal) Shall we?
Tikal: (nods) We shall.
They started to approach.
On Nack and Nic
But before Sonic and Tikal could approach, Nack pressed a button on a remote control as a yellow force field surrounded in front of them and the door. Nack and Nic grins as they went inside through the blast door. After the door closed, 7 swatbots blocked their path throughout open hatch doors.
On Sonic and Tikal
Tikal sternly sees 3 chaos emeralds in the middle compartment of 3 swatbots.
Tikal: There they are.
Sonic: I know. I see it too.
On Swat Bots
The 4 swatbot's visors glowed normal, but the three swatbots glowed like the color of the emeralds. Blue, Green, and Red.
On 1st SwatBot
1st Swatbot: Target Acquired. Subjects: Sonic Hedgehog and Tikal Echidna -- at range.
On Sonic and Tikal
Tiksl: (eyes widen) Not good.
Sonic: No shit.
On Swatbots
1st Swatbot: Take Aim.
They all took steady aim at Sonic and Tikal.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic/Tikal: (eyes widen)
On Swatbots
The 3 swatbots cannons charged with color particles of energy matching the emeralds, while the others kept aim at them.
1st Swatbot: Fire!
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: (grabs Tikal) Hit the deck!
(Wide Angle)
The swatbots fired powerful laser beams from their arm cannons at the same time Sonic and Tikal evades behind a medium-size sqaure-like metallic crate.
The lasers hit the crater of the crashed elevator, destroying it completely with a powerful force.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic looked in shocked at the development before gazing Tikal.
Sonic: How powerful are these emeralds?
Tikal: More powerful than you can imagine.
Sonic: (sighs) Great.
Cut To:

An earthquake emitted on floating island, shaking the entire region.
On Julie-Su and the Chaotixs
Julie and the chaotixs tried to maintain their balance before Julie got down to one knee.
Julie: It's happening?!
Vector: You don't say!
Julie: (thinking) Knuckles, hurry!
Cut To:
Int.
Knuckles, Manic, and Sonia were heading down the next floor after taking care of some more of Robotnik's henchmens, that are lying on the pavement motionless.
They kept going when Knuckles stopped for some reason. The two siblings noticed.
Sonia: What's wrong?
Manic: Are we close?
Knuckles: (shakes head) No. The island is beginning to fall. I can feel it.
Manic: (frustrated) Dammit! How are we gonna find the master emerald and not know where it is?!
(Cell Phone Rings)
Manic: If that's mom, tell her we're busy at the moment.
Sonia: (answers, to manic) Shh. (on phone) Mom?
Sonic: (from phone) Sis, it's me!
Sonia: (on phone) Sonic, where are you?
Sonic: (from phone) Down on the 1st floor.
Int.
On Sonic and Tikal
The swatbots continued firing at the huge crate, trying to destroy it, while Sonic and Tikal were still behind it.
Sonic: (on phone) Listen, we found the emeralds!
Sonia: (from phone) You did?
Sonic: (on phone) Yes. But Eggman uploaded them into the swatbots and they are firing at us!
On Knuckles, Manic, and Sonia
Sonic: (from phone) Plus, they're guarding the Master Emerald that's in the next room through a large blast door!
Sonia: Shit.
Knux: What is it?
Sonia raised a hand to silence him.
Sonia: (on phone) Alright, we're on our way. (hangs up phone, to Knuckles and Manic) They found the emerald.
Knux: (open his mouth)
Sonia: (noticed, points finger at him) Don't ask me where yet.
Knux: (closes mouth)
Sonia: (lowers finger) Problem is, Eggman uploaded the emeralds into the Swatbots, who are guarding the Master Emerald in the other room passed a blast door.
Manic: Where are--
Knux: (cuts him off) Where are they?
Manic: (looks at him) I was asking her.
Knux: (looks at him) I asked her first.
Sonia: Guys, guys. Shut up before I zip those lips.
Knux/Manic: (looked back at her innocently, unison) Okay.
Knux: Where--
Sonia: (cuts him off) Down on the 1st floor.
Knuckles immediately walks ahead of them.
Sonia: (noticed, follows) Hey! Wait up.
Manic: (follows) Quit going so fast.
Int. 1st Floor
On Sonic and Tikal
Tikal suddenly sensed something as Sonic noticed.
Sonic: What?
Tikal: I can feel the island falling.
Sonic: (paused) Then, we better hurry!
Tikal: (looks at him) Good idea. Any suggestions?
Sonic: Give me a second. I'll think of something.
Suddenly, another laser projectile hits the object, igniting sparks from it.
Tikal: (cowers a bit) Okay. Countdown: One Second. Any suggestions?!
Sonic: (nods) Yeah. Distract him?
Tikal: Whoa, whoa. What?
Sonic: Distract him?
Tikal: Who (points to self), me?
Sonic: Yes, you!
Another blast hits the structure, destroying the top right corner of it and was almost gonna be obliterated.
Sonic: (noticed) This thing won't hold. So, do it!
Tikal takes a deep breath and nods. She looks from Sonic, closes her eyes, and concentrates as she balled her left hand before it glowed a whitish color. Tikal opened her glowing white eyes and smirked as she got up and took a running start to the right where another crate was at.
On Swatbots
The swatbots saw her and aimed in her direction before shooting projectiles at her.
On Tikal
Tikal evades the lasers by wall climbing up the metallic wall and runs the side, while the lasers trailed behind her.
The lasers impacted at the far left corner in front of her, missing her as Tikal side flips off the wall and lands on her feet.
Tikal: HEAVEN'S JUSTICE!!
Quickly turning counterclockwise, she threw 3 attacks at the center of the swatbots compartment belly, breaking the glass guarding the emeralds.
On Sonic
That was Sonic's cue as he looks around and gazed the walls that lead straight to the swatbots right in front of the blast door.
Sonic: (grins)
He got up and makes a running start.
On Swatbot
The swatbot spotted him and aimed in his direction. It fired a powerful projectile at the hedgehog.
On Sonic
Sonic leaps to the corner wall and started running along the side, evading the lasers as it hits the corner.
On Tikal
Tikal evades behind a metallic crate that was by the right wall, while lasers followed her way and hits the metal.
On Sonic
Sonic ran at total speed towards the swatbots. The swatbots lasers were hitting the wall and trailing Sonic as he leaped and buzzsawwed his way towards the swatbots.
On Swatbots
The swatbots couldn't get a visual before, in a speed of light, a blue blur shifted right passed them. As soon as that happened, the emeralds were gone from their compartment.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic lands on the floor next to the crate Tikal was at with the 3 colored emeralds.
Sonic: You alright?
Tikal: (nods)
Sonic: Got a bag?
Tikal: Don't worry. I'll--
Suddenly, more lasers hit thier way on the metal as Sonic took cover by Tikal. The swatbots were firing their regular lasers at the target. Luckily for Sonic and Tikal, they were protected by the structure. But it won't hold. Sonic and Tikal cower a bit.
Sonic: What were you saying?!
Tikal: I'll teleport it back to the palace!
Sonic: Gee, you think you can do it while they're in that chamber?!
Tikal: (shakes head) No! Can't do it from here!
Sonic: Why not?!
Tikal: I just did it moments ago!
Sonic: And?!
Tikal: It's protected by some sort of force field! Nack and Nic are inside!
Sonic: Oh, great.
Sonic leans a little to the side, which was a mistake.
On Swatbot
A swatbot fires before catching sight of Sonic's presence. It aims and fires.
The laser swiftly hits off a small chunk of Sonic's rear from the left.
On Sonic
Sonic's eyes widen along with gritted teeth as he desperately tries to hold back his scream.
Tikal: (noticed) What's wrong? (nudges Sonic) Sonic!
Sonic: (screams very loudly in pain) Aah!!
Tikal grasped her ears and gritted her teeth from the ear-piercing scream. But not only Tikal was overwhelmed.
On Swatbots
The swatbots were as well as their visors shattered, then their programmings malfunctioned by self-destructing on impact. Metal parts were flying everywhere and hits the ground.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: (stops screaming immediately) Shit! God, that smarts!
Tikal removed her hands from her ears.
Tikal: (groans) Oh! Remind me to wear earmuff.
Sonic: (grunts in pain)
Tikal: What the hell is w--(realizes) Not again.
She looked and saw the left side of his rear missing a chunk of skin. And like the right rear, it was only a scratch and a little blood flows from it. Tikal covers her mouth.
Tikal: (muffled laughing) Oh, my god! (uncovers mouth) This was even better than before.
Sonic: (groans) Oh, shut up already with that, okay?
Tikal: (chuckles) Okay.
Sonic: Oh! Did you teleport the emeralds?
Tikal puts them in a pile.
Tikal: Working on it right now.
Tikal closes her eyes and placed her hands together. She slowly bows her head as Sonic watches before a flash of light emitted, then softly fades away. Sonic uncovers his hand from his eyes due to the flash and look to find the emeralds gone.
Sonic: (astonished) Cool.
Tikal: (opens eyes) That's three down. Four to go. (to Sonic) Come here.
Sonic: (looks at her) Why?
Tikal: Just come here. You always ask why.
Sonic: (sighs)
Sonic goes over to Tikal.
Tikal: (gestures) Turn around.
Sonic: (raises up hands) Hold up. I know you not gonna do what I think you're gonna do.
Tikal: (sighs) Don't worry about it. Now, turn around. As soon as I'm done with you, you'll hardly feel a thing.
Sonic gazed her long before turning his back to her.
Sonic: (under his breath) Yeah, I'll bet on that.
Tikal: What was that?
Sonic: Nothing.
Tikal dismisses it and proceeds.
Tikal: Okay. Don't move.
Sonic: I'll try not to.
Tikal rubs her hands together before proceeding to heal Sonic's wounds. However, before the treatment can be made, Tikal sensed something coming thier way from the elevator.
Sonic: (noticed) Hey, w--"
Tikal: Shh. (whispers) Something's coming from the shaft.
They both looked in the direction before catching sight of Knuckles, Manic, and Sonia descending from the shaft to the floor respectfully.
Int.
Inside the large containment room, the Master Emerald was locked in an energenic cage glowing its green energy. Two wires were connected to the cage, pulsating energy from the emerald.
The four chaos emerald were contained in clear tubes, glowing its energy.
On Nack and Nic
On the right hand corner, Nack and Nic were seated at a table, but stopped when they noticed that it was quieter from the other side of the room.
Nic: You know, it's quiet.
Nack: Yeah, I noticed. This place is soundproof, so it's quiet everytime.
Nic: (nods) Oh. You played?
Nack: Yeah. I'm almost losing my money to you anyhow.
Nic: (grins) Yeah.

On Knuckles, Sonia, and Manic
On the other side of the room, Knuckles, Sonia, and Manic looked around to find Sonic and Tikal.

Knuckles kept looking before catching his sight on Sonic and Tikal by the wall.
Knux: (points) There they are!
Knuckles, Sonia, and Manic ran towards their location.

Sonic gets up as Knuckles and the others arrived at their position.

Knuckles looks around the place seeing shards of metal on the ground.
Knux: I see you've took care of everything.
Tikal: Oh, we took care of everything alright.
Knux: (gazes her sternly) What's that suppose to mean?
Sonic: (groans) Nothing. Look, let's save the speech talk for later and let's get rid of that force field. The rest of the emeralds are through that door.
Knux: (nods) Right.
Knuckles and the others went to approach the door.

Sonic was somewhat limping, which got him the concerned gaze from Manic and Sonia.
Manic: You alright, bro?
Sonic: (groans softly) Yeah.
Sonia: You sure? Because the way you're groaning, it's almost like you were wounded or shot or something.
Sonic: (stops walking, looks at her straight) Sonia...
Sonia stops walking as Sonic was about to speak further, but stopped when he noticed Sonia's wide look.

Knuckles and Tikal were at the door as they turned to the siblings.
Knux: Hey, what's going on over there?

The siblings gazed their way very innocently.

Knuckles winds his fist back and slams it into the force field about a few times til the terminal shorted out with electricity sizzling around it. The cause of the damaged terminal shuts off the force field.
Knuckles dusted off his hands.
Knux: (grins)
Tikal: (noticed) I see you still got it.
Knuckles turned towards the siblings.
Knux: Come on, guys!
On Siblings
The siblings turned toward Knuckles after their brief argument ironically concerning Sonic.
Manic/Sonia: (gazed Sonic)
Sonia: We'll get to the bottom of this later on.
Sonic: (shakes head) Come on.

They walked towards Knuckles as Sonic took out an intercom.
Sonic: (on intercom) Tails, you there?

(Mystikal's "Danger" plays indistinct on radio)
On the top roof, the Tornado X was parked sternly on the metallic rooftop.

Inside, Tails was sitting comfortably in the vehicle listening to the music on a headphone. He was somewhat mouthing the rhythms when his headphone started getting static.

He removed the plug from the player before the intercom audio came on.

Robotnik pressed a button on the armchair. A large holographic screen emitted from the front end of the armchair.

On the screen, it showed the siblings, Knuckles, and Tikal in the other room. He gazed as Knuckles nocked a hole through the double door with a powerful blow, giving them access to the containment room.

Inside the plane, Tails hung up the intercom as he started the plane up. Suddenly, a pulse-charging laser gun was pointed at his head.
Voice: Shut off the engine.
The light was shining and the heat was hotter as Sonic and Tikal was on top of each other. Specifically, Sonic on top, Tikal on bottom. Sonic took her words for it as Tikal extended both her arms. The light got brighter as Sonic looked in astonishment through his shades. The bright light quickly vanished as Tikal was now seen in her regular clothes as well as Sonic was. Tikal was about to walk pass Sonic, who was about to say something before she raised up a hand.
Tikal: Not a word. Let's go.

Sonia's energy blast penetrated 3 G.U.N's bots that exploded on impact. Sonia hits the ground before quickly getting up.

Manic: What?
Knux: She stopped time. Blue found her.
Sonia: (relieved sigh) Good. We can continue on.
They continued walking down the corridor. Knuckles knew exactly what happened during their shift in time. But didn't want to reveal it to Manic and Sonia.
Sonic: (V.O) Question.

Inside another part of the place, Sonic and Tikal were walking in a dark corridor.
On Sonic and Tikal
Tikal: Yeah?
Sonic: If this technique of yours can stop time, how come I wasn't effected?
Tikal: Because during the technique, I focused through your mind to alter motion.
Sonic: (nods) Oh.
They resume walking.

Snively was seated in front of his computerized monitor console, blinking his eyes a few times. He was obviously unsure of what just happened.
(Computer Beeps)
He shakes his head a bit and draws his attention back to the monitor screen. He had a big smile on his face after catching sight of someone.
Snively: (chuckling) Well, well.

On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: You know where they're stashing the Mater Emerald?
Tikal: Yes. But it's more complicated than that.
Sonic: What do you mean?
Tikal didn't get a chance to ansswer. And before they could turn a corner, a laser fire hits the edge wall inches from them. Sonic and Tikal evades back before a second laser fire came and missed.
Tikal: What was that?
Sonic made an attempt to look out and find 5 to 6 defense turrets blocking their path to an elevator.
On 1st Turret
The 1st turret charged and fired again as Sonic evades back, while the laser hits the edge wall again.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: Shit. The elevator is right behind those turrets.
Tikal: We can't use our attacks.
Sonic: Why not?
Tikal: Because it won't work against them. Unless...
Sonic: Unless what?
Tikal: Well, try charging.
Sonic: (nods) Good idea.
Sonic balls his left fist and closed his eyes to concentrate. His fist glows a bright whitish color. He intensifies the energy before shooting his eyes open.
Sonic: (echoes) Sonic Wind!!
He got out and threw the energy ball at the 1st turret.As soon as it impacts, electricity sizzles around the turrets.
Sonic: (to Tikal) Get back!
Sonic and Tikal went back into hiding.
On Turrets
The single turret started rapidly shooting out of control with the lasers, destroying the other 5 in the process. The fire power was nearly missing Sonic and Tikal, but then, one single laser soon knocked off and burned a small chunk of Sonic's rear end.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: (wide-eyed, in pain) Aah!!
Tikal covers his mouth as Sonic's muffled scream continues before he closed his eyes and stopped.
On Turret
The turret kept firing til it explodes to pieces while sparks rain from the damage.
On Sonic and Tikal
Tikal uncovers his mouth.
Tikal: You okay?
Sonic: (groans in pain) No. My god...it hurts like hell. Shit!
Tikal: Turn around.
Sonic turns around as Tikal examines the injury. She could only see a burn spot on there.
Tikal: (scoffs) You really are a cry-baby.
Sonic: What?
Tikal: You lost only a chunk of your rear. It's only a scratch.
Sonic: (looks at her) You gotta be kidding me! It hurt like hell and you're telling me that it was just a scratch?!
Tikal: That's what I'm saying.
Sonic: (groans)
Sonic and Tikal looked out at the mess.
Sonic: Good plan, by the way.
Tikal: Thanks.
Sonic: Let's go.
Sonic and Tikal ran passed the damaged turrets to the elevator despite the pain that Sonic sustained. They got inside and the double door closed.

On Monitor
On the monitor, Snively was eyeing the situation.
Snively: You're not getting away that easily, hedgehog. (types on console)

Inside the elevator, Sonic cringes from his injury.
Tikal: (noticed) You're gonna be alright.
Sonic: I've noticed. Thanks. (groans) What did you mean what you said when I asked about the Master Emerald?
Tikal: Robotnik has uploaded the Chaos Emerald into the Swat-Bots. So, they'll be more complicated to defeat.
Voice: Indeed they will.
Sonic and Tikal almost got startled by the voice.
Tikal: Who was that?
Sonic gazed the speaker at the side as Tikal noticed and did the same.
Voice: I'm obviously surprised that you've escaped those defense turrets and are heading to the emeralds. Too bad you "fell" for the next trick I designed.
Tikal: What are you talking about?
Voice: Happy Landing!
Suddenly, the elevator started shaking and rumbling as Sonic and Tikal got off balance and were desperately trying to stand up.
Tikal: What happened?!
Sonic: He loosed the elevator! We're gong down the shaft!
Tikal: Oh, great! Any ideas?!
Sonic: Why?!
Tikal: Because it's your turn as I recall!
Sonic puts his brain to work before looking up and found an escape hatch. He balances himself a bit before leaping up. At full force, he broke through the hatch open before using his hand, hanging onto the frame opening. He looks in the elevator and extends his arm to Tikal.
Sonic: Take my hand!
Tikal: (nods)
She balances herself before leaping and grabbing Sonic's hand. Sonic pulled her up. They were now on top of the falling elevator. Sonic eyes the cables and looked up. He looks at Tikal.
Sonic: On Three, we grab these cables!
Tikal: (nods)
Sonic: One...Two...Three!
They both quickly grabbed the cables as the elevator continues downward before crashing all the way to the bottom creating a huge crater and busting open the double door.
Sonic and Tikal saw this in shock.
Sonic: Damn!
Tikal: I'm glad we're not in it! (looks up) Too bad we have to climb all the way up there.
Sonic: (shakes head) Not necessarily. We're actually going down. Ready?
Tikal nods and held on as she and Sonic started sliding down the cables to the reckus. As soon as they were at the bottom, they jumped out of the 1st floor avoiding the reckus. The 1st floor was like a huge mechanical place. The walls were metallic as well as the floor, and many medium-size metallic crates were there. A large mechanical blast door was about a few feets from their position.
Sonic: (looks at Tikal) Are we close?
Tikal: (looks at him)
Voice: Not by a long shot?
Sonic and Tikal looked forward.
On Nack and Nic
There, they saw Nack and Nic Weasel walking from the side by the door, blocking thier path.
Nic: Hello, Kal.

Sonic: (looks at Tikal) Since when were you girls on a first name basis?
Tikal: (looks at Sonic) Since we first met.
Sonic: (nods) Ah. I take it you girls weren't the best of friends when Eggman captured you.
Tikal: Believe me. This bitch put up a hell of a fight. I'm beginning to wonder if she's eaten her spinach.

They started to approach.

But before Sonic and Tikal could approach, Nack pressed a button on a remote control as a yellow force field surrounded in front of them and the door. Nack and Nic grins as they went inside through the blast door. After the door closed, 7 swatbots blocked their path throughout open hatch doors.

Tikal sternly sees 3 chaos emeralds in the middle compartment of 3 swatbots.
Tikal: There they are.
Sonic: I know. I see it too.
On Swat Bots
The 4 swatbot's visors glowed normal, but the three swatbots glowed like the color of the emeralds. Blue, Green, and Red.
On 1st SwatBot
1st Swatbot: Target Acquired. Subjects: Sonic Hedgehog and Tikal Echidna -- at range.
On Sonic and Tikal
Tiksl: (eyes widen) Not good.
Sonic: No shit.
On Swatbots
1st Swatbot: Take Aim.
They all took steady aim at Sonic and Tikal.

On Swatbots
The 3 swatbots cannons charged with color particles of energy matching the emeralds, while the others kept aim at them.
1st Swatbot: Fire!
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: (grabs Tikal) Hit the deck!
(Wide Angle)
The swatbots fired powerful laser beams from their arm cannons at the same time Sonic and Tikal evades behind a medium-size sqaure-like metallic crate.
The lasers hit the crater of the crashed elevator, destroying it completely with a powerful force.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic looked in shocked at the development before gazing Tikal.
Sonic: How powerful are these emeralds?
Tikal: More powerful than you can imagine.
Sonic: (sighs) Great.

An earthquake emitted on floating island, shaking the entire region.
On Julie-Su and the Chaotixs
Julie and the chaotixs tried to maintain their balance before Julie got down to one knee.
Julie: It's happening?!

Julie: (thinking) Knuckles, hurry!

Knuckles, Manic, and Sonia were heading down the next floor after taking care of some more of Robotnik's henchmens, that are lying on the pavement motionless.
They kept going when Knuckles stopped for some reason. The two siblings noticed.
Sonia: What's wrong?
Manic: Are we close?
Knuckles: (shakes head) No. The island is beginning to fall. I can feel it.
Manic: (frustrated) Dammit! How are we gonna find the master emerald and not know where it is?!
(Cell Phone Rings)
Manic: If that's mom, tell her we're busy at the moment.
Sonia: (answers, to manic) Shh. (on phone) Mom?
Sonic: (from phone) Sis, it's me!
Sonia: (on phone) Sonic, where are you?
Sonic: (from phone) Down on the 1st floor.

On Sonic and Tikal
The swatbots continued firing at the huge crate, trying to destroy it, while Sonic and Tikal were still behind it.
Sonic: (on phone) Listen, we found the emeralds!
Sonia: (from phone) You did?
Sonic: (on phone) Yes. But Eggman uploaded them into the swatbots and they are firing at us!
On Knuckles, Manic, and Sonia
Sonic: (from phone) Plus, they're guarding the Master Emerald that's in the next room through a large blast door!
Sonia: Shit.
Knux: What is it?
Sonia raised a hand to silence him.
Sonia: (on phone) Alright, we're on our way. (hangs up phone, to Knuckles and Manic) They found the emerald.
Knux: (open his mouth)
Sonia: (noticed, points finger at him) Don't ask me where yet.
Knux: (closes mouth)
Sonia: (lowers finger) Problem is, Eggman uploaded the emeralds into the Swatbots, who are guarding the Master Emerald in the other room passed a blast door.
Manic: Where are--
Knux: (cuts him off) Where are they?
Manic: (looks at him) I was asking her.
Knux: (looks at him) I asked her first.
Sonia: Guys, guys. Shut up before I zip those lips.
Knux/Manic: (looked back at her innocently, unison) Okay.
Knux: Where--
Sonia: (cuts him off) Down on the 1st floor.
Knuckles immediately walks ahead of them.
Sonia: (noticed, follows) Hey! Wait up.
Manic: (follows) Quit going so fast.
Int. 1st Floor
On Sonic and Tikal
Tikal suddenly sensed something as Sonic noticed.
Sonic: What?
Tikal: I can feel the island falling.
Sonic: (paused) Then, we better hurry!
Tikal: (looks at him) Good idea. Any suggestions?
Sonic: Give me a second. I'll think of something.
Suddenly, another laser projectile hits the object, igniting sparks from it.
Tikal: (cowers a bit) Okay. Countdown: One Second. Any suggestions?!
Sonic: (nods) Yeah. Distract him?
Tikal: Whoa, whoa. What?
Sonic: Distract him?
Tikal: Who (points to self), me?
Sonic: Yes, you!
Another blast hits the structure, destroying the top right corner of it and was almost gonna be obliterated.
Sonic: (noticed) This thing won't hold. So, do it!
Tikal takes a deep breath and nods. She looks from Sonic, closes her eyes, and concentrates as she balled her left hand before it glowed a whitish color. Tikal opened her glowing white eyes and smirked as she got up and took a running start to the right where another crate was at.
On Swatbots
The swatbots saw her and aimed in her direction before shooting projectiles at her.
On Tikal
Tikal evades the lasers by wall climbing up the metallic wall and runs the side, while the lasers trailed behind her.
The lasers impacted at the far left corner in front of her, missing her as Tikal side flips off the wall and lands on her feet.
Tikal: HEAVEN'S JUSTICE!!
Quickly turning counterclockwise, she threw 3 attacks at the center of the swatbots compartment belly, breaking the glass guarding the emeralds.
On Sonic
That was Sonic's cue as he looks around and gazed the walls that lead straight to the swatbots right in front of the blast door.
Sonic: (grins)
He got up and makes a running start.
On Swatbot
The swatbot spotted him and aimed in his direction. It fired a powerful projectile at the hedgehog.
On Sonic
Sonic leaps to the corner wall and started running along the side, evading the lasers as it hits the corner.
On Tikal
Tikal evades behind a metallic crate that was by the right wall, while lasers followed her way and hits the metal.
On Sonic
Sonic ran at total speed towards the swatbots. The swatbots lasers were hitting the wall and trailing Sonic as he leaped and buzzsawwed his way towards the swatbots.
On Swatbots
The swatbots couldn't get a visual before, in a speed of light, a blue blur shifted right passed them. As soon as that happened, the emeralds were gone from their compartment.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic lands on the floor next to the crate Tikal was at with the 3 colored emeralds.
Sonic: You alright?
Tikal: (nods)
Sonic: Got a bag?
Tikal: Don't worry. I'll--
Suddenly, more lasers hit thier way on the metal as Sonic took cover by Tikal. The swatbots were firing their regular lasers at the target. Luckily for Sonic and Tikal, they were protected by the structure. But it won't hold. Sonic and Tikal cower a bit.
Sonic: What were you saying?!
Tikal: I'll teleport it back to the palace!
Sonic: Gee, you think you can do it while they're in that chamber?!
Tikal: (shakes head) No! Can't do it from here!
Sonic: Why not?!
Tikal: I just did it moments ago!
Sonic: And?!
Tikal: It's protected by some sort of force field! Nack and Nic are inside!
Sonic: Oh, great.
Sonic leans a little to the side, which was a mistake.
On Swatbot
A swatbot fires before catching sight of Sonic's presence. It aims and fires.
The laser swiftly hits off a small chunk of Sonic's rear from the left.

Sonic's eyes widen along with gritted teeth as he desperately tries to hold back his scream.
Tikal: (noticed) What's wrong? (nudges Sonic) Sonic!
Sonic: (screams very loudly in pain) Aah!!
Tikal grasped her ears and gritted her teeth from the ear-piercing scream. But not only Tikal was overwhelmed.
On Swatbots
The swatbots were as well as their visors shattered, then their programmings malfunctioned by self-destructing on impact. Metal parts were flying everywhere and hits the ground.
On Sonic and Tikal
Sonic: (stops screaming immediately) Shit! God, that smarts!
Tikal removed her hands from her ears.
Tikal: (groans) Oh! Remind me to wear earmuff.
Sonic: (grunts in pain)
Tikal: What the hell is w--(realizes) Not again.
She looked and saw the left side of his rear missing a chunk of skin. And like the right rear, it was only a scratch and a little blood flows from it. Tikal covers her mouth.
Tikal: (muffled laughing) Oh, my god! (uncovers mouth) This was even better than before.
Sonic: (groans) Oh, shut up already with that, okay?
Tikal: (chuckles) Okay.
Sonic: Oh! Did you teleport the emeralds?
Tikal puts them in a pile.
Tikal: Working on it right now.
Tikal closes her eyes and placed her hands together. She slowly bows her head as Sonic watches before a flash of light emitted, then softly fades away. Sonic uncovers his hand from his eyes due to the flash and look to find the emeralds gone.
Sonic: (astonished) Cool.
Tikal: (opens eyes) That's three down. Four to go. (to Sonic) Come here.
Sonic: (looks at her) Why?
Tikal: Just come here. You always ask why.
Sonic: (sighs)
Sonic goes over to Tikal.
Tikal: (gestures) Turn around.
Sonic: (raises up hands) Hold up. I know you not gonna do what I think you're gonna do.
Tikal: (sighs) Don't worry about it. Now, turn around. As soon as I'm done with you, you'll hardly feel a thing.
Sonic gazed her long before turning his back to her.
Sonic: (under his breath) Yeah, I'll bet on that.
Tikal: What was that?
Sonic: Nothing.
Tikal dismisses it and proceeds.
Tikal: Okay. Don't move.
Sonic: I'll try not to.
Tikal rubs her hands together before proceeding to heal Sonic's wounds. However, before the treatment can be made, Tikal sensed something coming thier way from the elevator.
Sonic: (noticed) Hey, w--"
Tikal: Shh. (whispers) Something's coming from the shaft.
They both looked in the direction before catching sight of Knuckles, Manic, and Sonia descending from the shaft to the floor respectfully.
Int.
Inside the large containment room, the Master Emerald was locked in an energenic cage glowing its green energy. Two wires were connected to the cage, pulsating energy from the emerald.
The four chaos emerald were contained in clear tubes, glowing its energy.
On Nack and Nic
On the right hand corner, Nack and Nic were seated at a table, but stopped when they noticed that it was quieter from the other side of the room.
Nic: You know, it's quiet.
Nack: Yeah, I noticed. This place is soundproof, so it's quiet everytime.
Nic: (nods) Oh. You played?
Nack: Yeah. I'm almost losing my money to you anyhow.
Nic: (grins) Yeah.
Int.
On Knuckles, Sonia, and Manic
On the other side of the room, Knuckles, Sonia, and Manic looked around to find Sonic and Tikal.
Manic: Where are they?
Knuckles kept looking before catching his sight on Sonic and Tikal by the wall.
Knux: (points) There they are!
Knuckles, Sonia, and Manic ran towards their location.
On Sonic and Tikal
Tikal was about to get up when Sonic pulled her down.
Tikal: (looks at him) What?
Sonic: (whispers) You gotta heal me first before they come anywhere near me!
Tikal: It is only a scratch. It'll heal naturally.
Sonic: (groans) It still hurts like hell.
Tikal: (gets up) Get up.
Sonic: (sighs)
On Sonic and the Gangs
Sonic gets up as Knuckles and the others arrived at their position.
Knux: You guys alright?
Sonic/Tikal: (nods)
Knuckles looks around the place seeing shards of metal on the ground.
Knux: I see you've took care of everything.
Tikal: Oh, we took care of everything alright.
Knux: (gazes her sternly) What's that suppose to mean?
Sonic: (groans) Nothing. Look, let's save the speech talk for later and let's get rid of that force field. The rest of the emeralds are through that door.
Knux: (nods) Right.
Knuckles and the others went to approach the door.
On Siblings
Sonic was somewhat limping, which got him the concerned gaze from Manic and Sonia.
Manic: You alright, bro?
Sonic: (groans softly) Yeah.
Sonia: You sure? Because the way you're groaning, it's almost like you were wounded or shot or something.
Sonic: (stops walking, looks at her straight) Sonia...
Sonia stops walking as Sonic was about to speak further, but stopped when he noticed Sonia's wide look.
Sonia, however, had the shocking look due to the look Sonic was giving her.
Sonic: Sonia, don't-don't--
Sonia: (cuts him off) Oh, my god. You're wounded.
Manic: (stops walking, looks back at them) What? He's wounded?
Sonia: (nods)
Sonic: Look, guys, it's no big deal.
Manic/Sonia: (looks at him, unison) No big deal?!
On Knuckles and Tikal
Knuckles and Tikal were at the door as they turned to the siblings.
Knux: Hey, what's going on over there?
On Siblings
The siblings gazed their way very innocently.
Siblings: (unison) Nothing.
On Knuckles and Tikal
Knux: (nods)
Knuckles winds his fist back and slams it into the force field about a few times til the terminal shorted out with electricity sizzling around it. The cause of the damaged terminal shuts off the force field.
Knuckles dusted off his hands.
Knux: (grins)
Tikal: (noticed) I see you still got it.
Knuckles turned towards the siblings.
Knux: Come on, guys!
On Siblings
The siblings turned toward Knuckles after their brief argument ironically concerning Sonic.
Manic/Sonia: (gazed Sonic)
Sonia: We'll get to the bottom of this later on.
Sonic: (shakes head) Come on.
On Sonic and the Gangs.
They walked towards Knuckles as Sonic took out an intercom.
Sonic: (on intercom) Tails, you there?
Cut To:

(Mystikal's "Danger" plays indistinct on radio)
On the top roof, the Tornado X was parked sternly on the metallic rooftop.
Int. Tornado X
Inside, Tails was sitting comfortably in the vehicle listening to the music on a headphone. He was somewhat mouthing the rhythms when his headphone started getting static.
Tails: What the hell? (takes off headphone)
He removed the plug from the player before the intercom audio came on.
Sonic: (from intercom) Tails...(static)...Tails! You there?
Tails: (picks up intercom) Yeah.
Sonic: (from intercom) We're gonna need you, T2.

Int. Robotnik's Lair
Robotnik pressed a button on the armchair. A large holographic screen emitted from the front end of the armchair.
On Screen
On the screen, it showed the siblings, Knuckles, and Tikal in the other room. He gazed as Knuckles nocked a hole through the double door with a powerful blow, giving them access to the containment room.
On Robotnik
Robotnik seems displeased at first, but somehow, a wicked smile crossed his face.

Inside the plane, Tails hung up the intercom as he started the plane up. Suddenly, a pulse-charging laser gun was pointed at his head.
Voice: Shut off the engine.
