Background: She is Tails's twin sister. They were separated at birth in hopes of preventing Robotnik from finding them both. She grew up with a family of humans that were good friends of the Prowers. She wasn't told of her brother until a few days before the incident that changed her life.

Her human foster parents had been under surveillance by a gang of thugs. They had witnessed a crime, and if they reported it, they would be killed. Things grew tenser with each passing day. Fearing that she might never find out, Keylo's parents told her about her brother. She always knew that she had been adopted, but had no idea that she had a brother. She was further surprised to learn that her brother was Tails, one of many heroes to the city and the planet.

Several days later, the gang's leader decided to get rid of them, and sent several armed men to the apartment where Keylo and her parents lived. A fight broke out in the apartment, and Keylo was accidentally thrown through the window by a punch from one of the men. She fell several stories, and ended up in a dumpster.

It just so happened that her brother had passed by at the moment she landed. She was unconscious. Tails came over to investigate, and alerted his friends when he found her.

Keylo is a kind person who will try to avoid and prevent fights if at all possible. She can sense the feelings and worries of others, and offers help whenever she can. She cares about everyone, no matter who they are. Keylo has a tendency to get people to let go of the false exteriors that many people put up, and get them in touch with their inner selves. She is always polite, but will sometimes tease her brother, just to be annoying.
