A/N: Hello, readers. My name is Tim, and this is my first fanfic, but I got some good reviews on it from FF.Net. I decided to move it here because of the fact that my friends and idols were having their stories removed and I didn't want to stay there without them. So, now I am dedicating this entire fanfic to my friends and fans, Silhouette the Hedgehog, Celestial the Hedgird, and Shadowlover101. They put me on their Favorite Authors list, and this is the least I could've done for them. Well, enough of listening to me babble like an idiot. Please go and enjoy the fic.

In the beginning of time there were two powerful beings, known only as Hope and Chaos, who created many different worlds. They created the Earth and the other planets, and many different variations of them, and they also created the many different inhabitants of the planets. These two beings were worshipped by the people they had made as gods. But Chaos was known for his cunning and devious ways, and he soon became greedy. He desired to be the true ruler of these worlds. So the War of Gods began. Chaos and Hope were equally matched, but one of Chaos' followers found a way to kill the god. The Devil Spear was created and given to Chaos to give him an advantage. The war raged on, and it came to a standstill. Chaos finally used the spear, piercing through Hope's skin and killing the god. Hope didn't want to see his creations fall victim to Chaos' merciless intentions, so he destroyed all but nine planets. The Devil Spear had done its job, but not like Chaos thought. Chaos' follower, Roland, thought that it would wipe the god out of existence, but instead it destroyed the body and left its energy sitting around in space. This energy traveled to one of the planets, called Earth by its inhabitants, and burrowed itself into nine humans. These humans got an elemental base and added power from the god. Hope's power spoke to them, begging them to stop Chaos.

Chaos, however, wasn't aware of these nine heroes. As they decided on a way to stop him, he had made life extinct on eight planets, leaving Earth to be conquered. But Chaos could still feel Hope's power on this planet. So instead of just blasting everything to dust from the safety of space, he descended to the planet, despite Roland's advice. Chaos had only one thing in mind: he had to get rid of Hope for good. As he landed he saw people running at the sight of him, which he found amusing. But he got angry at the sight of nine people calmly walking towards him. These were the ones, he could feel Hope's power emanating from them. The nine warriors drew their weapons, ready to lay everything on the line and stop at nothing to rid the world of his evil.

The nine warriors and Chaos fought, as they finished the war that Chaos started. The warriors fought bravely, and were able to defeat Chaos. They knew that with his power, he couldn't be killed. They decided to seal him away forever. But, Chaos transfered most of his remaining power to Roland, who became very powerful. The warriors, who thought that their job was completed, used what power they had left to restore the destroyed worlds back to the way they once were, but with a barrier separating them so to not have another war between worlds.

The worlds were seperated forever, but gates were opened between them that only a chosen few could go through. These gates were created when someone would have memories of the worlds even though it was 2,000 years later. The person would make an anime, book, video game, or even make-believe games.

However, there is still a common link between the worlds: Roland. Since he was infused with the powers of a god, he was growth-less. He never changed physically in the 2,000 years since Chaos' defeat. He did, however, gain a hatred for humans and a cold personality for anybody besides his god. "Chaos, I swear...I will find you, and you will be put back into power. But more power is needed..."

Hope's power still resides in the hearts of all the people he tried to save, but a new set of heroes is needed to fulfill his dream of peace on all worlds...
