Ch 7: The First Victim
nightfall covered the sky, Two blurs of orange sped after each other, an angry son and a mindless clone that had captured his mother, Amy. Michael ran with a purpose to get Amy back, but it seemed as though that she was getting furthur and furthur away from eyesight...
no! He is not going to get away from me!!" Michael mentally screamed as he kicked the afterburners into high velocity, easily breaking the sound barrier and catching up rather quickly to the MX. "You're gonna pay for taking my mother you freak!" Michael shouted at the MX, getting an evil glare from the clone, pissing Michael off even moreso then before.
think that you can keep up with me...you're badly mistaken! I have been modified and am far superior to the origional!!" The MX shouted in an exact duplicate of Michael's voice. Suddenly, before Michael could react to what had just transpired, he saw a pinkish figure in the distance, and the two were rapidly heading towards the figures position.
is that??" Michael asked himself, the details of the pink form becoming more and more visible as they were about two hundred yards away from it. The next thing Michael knew, he heard a horrid scream echo nearby, coming from the direction of the pink figure. "No! That thing just killed it!!!" Michael stareed in horror at the pink figure infront of him. From first glance, he knew it was an echidna and it was a girl, but he had no idea who it was until he turned her on her back. "Oh my God!!!"
sound of a certain blue hedgehog could be heard behind Michael as he saw his father stop a few feet from him, staring at him, unknoiwn as to the echidna's fate.
Is something happened?! Where's Amy?" Sonic asked frantically, suddenlynoticing a pink girl on the ground. "NO!! AMY!!!" Sonic was about to take off for the MX but his son stopped him in his tracks.
its not Amy...its.........." Michael started to have tears burst forth from his eyes as he told of the girl echidna. "Julie-Su"
my God...Oh my-Knuckles!! Oh no...not her...not Julie-Su..." Sonic mournfully wept as the bloodied form of Julie-Su stared with closed eyes, the life in her suddenly taken away from her and she didn't even know it was coming was what really got Michael's blood boiled.
are we gonna explain this to Knuckles, dad?" Michael asked worridly, knowing the temper of Knuckles might cause something horrible to happen...to them.
don't know, son...we gotta tell him, though...we're just gonna have to hope that he diesn't try and hurt us in the process..." Sonic said regretfully, tears still dripping from his face as he picked up Julie-Su's motionless form as the two walked back to Motople.
