Ch 11: The Rescue (Part 2/4)
While Sonic and the others were out to rescue Amy from her prison, Amy had just been screwed crazy by the three clones. As Amy lay unconcious on the floor, her captors picked her up and threw her into a cell, sealing the door shut with a flamethrower blast from the SX2. The three heartless entities towered over her motionless body, laughing wickedly as, one by one, they left Amy to, basically, "rot away" in her cell...
"Just hang in there, Amy, we're going as fast as we can!" Sonic mentally screamed as his son was leading the way, carrying Knuckles and Shadow by hand. "That Eggman has finally crossed the line, and he's gonna pay for it with his life!"
Meanwhile, Michael dashed ahead of his dad, concerned as any son would be over his mother's situation. 'I can't believe that Eggman and Shingleman took her away from us...I don't understand why they'd do such a thing!' Michael's thoughts were running like wildfire in his mind as reality was beginning to sink in that his mother might not be alive much longer.

"What's the status of the prisoner?" Herring asked the clones. A sinister grin on their faces made Herring smile as well, knowing that, where Amy was, Sonic was nearby. "The second phase of the operation is completed, uncle! Now we begin Phase Three: eliminate those meddlesome hedgehogs and that irritating echidna!"
"My friends, the dream we have waited on for so many long agonizing years is almost here, and the only thing stopping us from living that dream is presicely what Herring said: Sonic and the others!" Eggman proclaimed, the three clones listening anxiously to what Eggman was saying.
"Now, Dr, we must prepare for Sonic's arrival! If my calculations are correct, him and the others should be here in about 1 hour. I'll put the preliminary defenses online to wear them out. Once that is done, and I am certain that they will get by the defenses, we'll send two clones out there to deal with whats left of those four. If, bu some miracle they do manage to get by this wave, we'll send in the last clone, the MX, to finish the job! Its fool-proof!" Shingleman proclaimed to the other scientists and the clones, getting nods of approval from all of them.
"Just you wait, Sonic, this time the pleasure will be all mine!" Eggman said to himself as the sky began to turn red: the sun was setting.
