"Shadow!" Sonic yelled as Shadow plummeted towards earth.

"What is going ON there?" asked Rouge. "Why the sudden interest in..."

Sonic thought back to a few minutes ago. They had been fighting Final Hazard, but then what...?

"Hey!" said Tails, pointing to a computer moniter. "There's...a message on that computer!"

Amy pushed a button and the message began to appear on the screen:

By the time you read this, I will already be dead. I have something to say to each of you.

Rouge, you no-good rotten dirty thief, you troublemaker, I'll see you in hell.

Eggman, as horrible as you are, thank you for releasing me, so I could fulfill my destiny.

Amy, the pest, thank you for talking to me earlier. My soul was at peace whenever you were around. Do not forget me.

Tails, you brat, you belong in college. Let's see what Sonic has to say to that!

Knuckles, I never knew you. But you seem most like me than anyone else. I wish you a safe trip home.

Sonic, the fool who dies hard, the regular guy who loves adventure, what will you do with the rest of your pathetic life? Waste it with the world-saving crap, or screw that and spend time with your friends? Will you still remain an irresponsible idiot who cares nothing for his admirer? DON'T WASTE YOUR LIFE ANY MORE THAN YOU ALREADY HAVE. Amy began crying as the last words appeared on the screen. Amy had loved Shadow.

As the Ultimate Life Form took his last breath, he remembered Amy. He smiled to himself, thinking about the things Amy got herself caught up in.

Then his vision went black, and his message, his last words, died with him.
