You and Me

Midnight, Sonic just walked in from the concert he went to. He thought it would take his mind off of Tails. The band he went to see only made him think more of Tails. Thoughts of his best friend were going through his mind. He turned off the lights and went to sleep. His dream woke him. He looked at the clock. 4:30, He tried to get back to sleep but he couldn't. Thoughts of Tails went through his mind. These thoughts weren't memories of the adventures they used to have. These thoughts were sexual. In these thoughts Tails would be with Sonic. They would be making love in a bed covered in rose petals.

He never realized how much he loved Tails. He hides because he is afraid of losing his best friend. He didn't know if Tails felt the same way as he did. He spent a lot of time thinking. Questioning himself whether or not to should tell him or hide it. He decided that he should tell Tails his true feelings for him. "Maybe Tails will feel the same way. I know if I don't tell him that I will go crazy from keeping it in for so long. I'll tell him today. I'll invite him over to talk and tell him then. What time is it?" He looked at his clock again. 6:00, "Well I guess I better get up. There isn't much else I can do." Sonic got up and started his day. He turned on the TV and watched it for a couple of hours. The phone starts to ring.

"I wonder who's calling this early. Hello this is Sonic."

"Sonic I need to talk to you."

"Tails?"

"Yeah."

Sonic was shocked that Tails would be calling at this time. He hasn't heard that voice in so long.

"What time would you like to talk and where?"

"Meet me around noon at my house. Bye."

Sonic hung up the phone. "I wonder what he needs to talk about. Well, it saves me a phone call. I'll tell him when I see him today." He started getting ready to meet Tails. He looked at the clock, which said 10:30. He thought he some time. He took a shower considering that he smelt like smoke from the concert last night. He was going to where his jacket but it smelled horrible. He wore a shirt that had Deep Purples logo on it and a pair of jeans. He wore his favorite necklace with a voodoo cross on it. He thought it looked cool. He decided to head on over to Tails house even though he would be early.

Tails waiting for Sonic. He really needed to tell Sonic what he felt about him. He is very nervous. He is afraid of losing his best friend. "I hope he doesn't try to kill me for telling him this. I have to tell him. If I don't I'll go crazy. I wish he'd get here soon."

There was a knock at the door. He knew it was him. He opens the door, Hey Sonic come on in."

"Tails, I need to talk to about something."

What does he need to talk about that is so important? Does he really love me? I wonder what is on his mind?

"Tails, I love you. I have been having dreams about you every night. I understand if you are angry with me for telling you this but I just had to get it out. I need to know if you feel the same way or not."

Sonic was waiting for Tails reply. Tails stood there shocked but gave Sonic a shocking reply. Tails went up to Sonic and passionately kiss Sonic.

Is this really happening? Is Tails really kissing me? Man this feels great.

"Sonic, I love you too."

Sonic didn't know what to do or say. He was happy at the fact that the one person he loved actually loved him back.

"Sonic, are you hungry? I can order a pizza."

"Yeah, sure. Hey Tails I was thinking since we are together now should we tell the others?"

"I guess we should, but not now. Lets wait and see how things go. I was wondering if we should move in with each other. What do you think?"

"I think that is a great idea. I'll move in with you because your house is bigger than mine. This will be great."

They spent the rest of the day together. Tails was in Sonics arms. They were watching TV. They didn't move from that spot and Sonic and Tails fell asleep like that.
