Sorcerer Hunters Fan Fiction ❯ Preggers ❯ Nightmares ( Chapter 1 )
Disclaimer: I don't own the rights to Sorcerer Hunters, but that hasn't stopped me from writing about them.
Warning: This story contains the themes of yaoi (male slash, Carrot slash specifically), violence, some non-con., and a pregnant male. If any of these may offend you then stop reading. If, however, you do read this, in spite of my warnings, and find it offensive then I have to say it is your own fault. Some scenes are of an erotic nature, but I have attempted to write them as tastefully as my ability allows.

Preggers
Gentle ripples marred the lake's lucid surface. Small waves fluttered across the sandy beach and left presents of driftwood and shells. Carrot Glace reached down and picked up a small stone and skipped it across the moving waters. One, two and it sunk. Not a very good throw, he thought picking up a second stone. He flicked his wrist and sent it flying across the water. One, two and it sunk. Every successive toss came out the same. He scratched his head and gave up. Normally he could get at least five jumps, more if conditions were right.
"Mommy?" A bundle of arms and legs collided with him from behind. Carrot yelled in surprise and stumbled forward. "Mommy, mommy!"
"I ain't your mommy, kid," he told the little boy clinging to his legs. He turned around in the child's grip. The little boy smiled up at him and blurred out of focus. Had Carrot seen…? Of course not, his mind was just…
"Daddy'll be upset if he finds you outside," the out-of-focus child informed him with grave seriousness. "We're not supposed to leave the castle."
"Castle…?" A dark monstrosity of granite rose before his startled eyes. Buttresses of gray stone arched away from the castle's sides and braced the leaden sky overhead. Steep roofs drew the eye into a hypnotic maze of depth. A dark shadow breathed through the walls and passed by the glowering windows.
"Mommy? Are you okay?"
Carrot thrust the little boy away. "I'm not your frickin' mother," he yelled staggering back. The shadow surged out of the castle and swept towards him upon black wings.
"Daddy!" The little boy rushed towards the darkness. The shadow consumed him, but for a moment Carrot clearly saw his face.
Carrot screamed in horror.

"Niisan!"
"Carrot!"
The boy lashed out and struck a yielding surface. A cry of pain reached his ears. Carrot blinked and found himself staring up into the familiar ceiling of his room in the main diocese of the Stella Church. Yet something sinister crept over him. The little boy…
"Where…Where?" He struggled upright, flailing in panic. He had seen…
"Niisan!" A pair of strong hands pushed him down. Hands…
"No!" The ceiling dissolved into miles of filmy white gauze, and a horrible, shadowed figment held him down. Chains clinked. Husky words intoned. "Don't touch me! Leave me alone!"
"Carrot…"
"Please…Please don't…" Hot tears trickled down his cheeks. The shadow smiled coldly. "Please."

"Where'd that shiner come from, Marron?" Mille Feuille inquired dropping down beside the dark-haired boy.
"Niisan," Marron replied touching the dark bruise on his cheek. "He awoke screaming and was uncontrollable till he fell unconscious again."
"I see." The Haz Knight gazed at the unconscious boy with veiled worry.
"He kept pleading towards the end. 'Please don't.'" Marron closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"Marron?" The Knight sensed something dangerous moving through the young mage. Marron was the most levelheaded of the group. However, even he had limits, his brother being one of them. "He'll be fine."
"Will he?" The boy turned seething black eyes upon his companion.
"He's strong in his own way."
"You found him, Mille. You've seen what that demon did to him. But you didn't hear him begging brokenly. He cried and begged. This will not be forgiven."

"Where's darling?" the statuesque, redheaded Sorcerer Hunter demanded upon entering the oppressively quiet hallway.
"Yeah, where's that unattractive jerk?" her blonde companion asked looking around. They met the boreal gazes of Carrot's companions.
"It's true then? I thought…Big Mama never fully explained…" Chocolate Misu clenched her fist. "Damn him."
"Oneesama?" The elder Misu shook her head slowly.
"He'll pay."
"So where is Carrot?" Gateau Mocha asked after a sufficiently long period of angst.
"He's in that room with Big Mama," Marron answered motioning towards the door to his left.
"How is he?"
"He lives."
"Why didn't Mama tell me?" Chocolate demanded of her younger sister. "She was so cryptic…Why?"
"You would have rushed back here, oneesama."
"Of course!"
"She didn't want you to do that. She needs to keep as many Hunters in the field as possible," Tira Misu replied softly. The older girl growled lowly.
"What did that bastard…do?"
"Hello everyone!" Four heads jerked towards the door to find a much-debated Carrot Glace waving cheerfully at them.
"Niisan!"
"Carrot!"
"Darling!"
"I'm starved! Catch y'all later." Whistling happily, he walked off before his stunned observers could respond.
"Big Mama has blocked his memory," Mille announced from the doorway. He offered them a brilliant smile, but the worry in his golden eyes belied the cheerfulness of his countenance. "It was the only way to keep him stable."
