Sorcerer Stabber Orphen Fan Fiction ❯ Forgotten Pain ❯ Prologue
Disclaimer: I don't own Sorcerous Stabber Orphen, or any of the characters.
^_^' This... this is an idea that me and D-chan just kinda *barely* even talked about the other night... And... I was half joking when I said I'd write it... But then... I actually got the inspiration, so... here it is.
This is AU... a little... I haven't seen the whole series, so... yeah. (only the beginning and the end. Damn you, Blockbusters!) But... yeah. I hope it's good tho. ^_^ Bit 'o' Cleao-bashing... Oh well... ^_^ And it's yaoi! ::holds up flashing neon sign that says 'YAOI!':: Orphen/Hartia!!! If I get just *one* flame for it being *yaoi*, I swear...
::Chibi D-chan muse rushes in and pats Kat on the back then rushes back out::
^_^ Ok, then. On with the fic!

Forgotten Pain
by Kat-chan
//"Krylancelo?" The red haired boy gently pushed the heavy door open, peering into the almost completely dark room, "Are you awake?" In the pale moonlight, he could faintly see the brunette that laid in the bed shifting.
"I am now. What do you want?"
"I..." The redhead bit his lip, then stepped into the room completely, closing the door behind himself, "I'm having bad dreams again... Can I...?"
"Get in," Sheets rustled, and then lifted, giving the redhead room to slip in beside his brown haired friend.
"Thank you," The whisper was soft, barely audible against Krylancelo's chest. Slowly, he lifted his hand, letting his fingers run through the other's shoulder length crimson hair. A soft kiss was pressed to the red haired boy's forehead before both closed their eyes and drifted to sleep.\\

Sienna coloured eyes opened slowly, gazing up at the plain ceiling for a moment, before their owner realised that he didn't remember going to bed.
"Master! You're awake!! How do you feel?" Orphen blinked and turned to see Majic, Cleao and Hartia all sitting in his room. Why were they in his room? And... Why did Majic want to know how he felt?
"What... what the hell happened yesterday?"
"You fainted, you wuss. *Shrimp Man* saved us," Cleao blurted, her voice already grating on Orphen's nerves.
"I'm *not* Shrimp Man, dammit!" Hartia snapped, before a light blush crept across his cheeks. As he spoke again, his voice was much softer, "You're sick, Krylancelo. You have a high fever, and you over-exerted yourself. How are you feeling now?" Orphen blinked again. He felt fine. Hartia was nuts. He didn't have a fever!
But, as he started to sit up and insist that he didn't *get* sick, the room began to spin, and he promptly collapsed onto his pillow again.
"Don't try to sit up, Master. You'll make yourself faint again," Majic chided, moving to press a cold, wet rag to Orphen's forehead. The brunette started to protest against being treated as such, but the cool, dampness on his hot skin felt too good. Maybe he *was* sick.
Just a little bit.

// "Krylancelo!" The surprised whisper fell from the redhead's lips as a cold hand slid up under his loosely fitting pajama top.
"Quiet!" Came the hissed reply, before lips descended upon his to enforce the command. The hand continued it's upward journey, slightly too long nails grazing over an over sensative pink nipple, causing a soft moan to rise up from the redhead's throat. Krylancelo smiled into the kiss, repeating the action, and receiving the same response.
"Krylancelo, sto~op!" The brunette grinned, though slightly disappointed the kiss had been broken.
"If you say so, Hartia..." And with that, he moved away, turning his back on the other boy and pretending to go to sleep. A long silence passed, before-
"No, Wait! I didn't mean that!"\\

Orphen's eyes snapped open, and he was staring at that plain ceiling again. Had he gone back to sleep?
"You're awake. How do you feel?" Hartia's smooth voice asked from across the room.
"I... I'm fine. Completely and totally... Going to pass out again. What the hell is wrong with me? I don't get sick!" He must have closed his eyes again, because he never saw Hartia cross the small bedroom, but the gentle hand brushing his bangs out of his face told him the redhead was there.
'Why does this feel so... familiar?'
"You know, you've been tossing and turning in your sleep, and mumbling... *something*... Are you having bad dreams?"
//'I'm having bad dreams again... Can I...?'\\
Orphen frowned. It all sounded so familiar but...
"Krylancelo?"
Oh. Hartia had asked him something, hadn't he?
"No, I'm fine..." Biting his lip, Orphen decided to open his eyes again, finding himself staring up into Hartia's warm, concerned face, "Hartia... when we were kids... did we..."
"Did we what?" The brunette blinked, thinking for a moment, and then shook his head.
"Nothing. Nevermind."
Hartia frowned, but didn't argue, watching as Orphen closed his eyes and rolled over, his back to the standing redhead.
'Well, this is like deja vu...'

//Red hair splayed out over the pristine white of the pillow, freckled cheeks bright with a warm blush. Kiss swollen lips parted in a silent plea, the figure moving over nodding an equally silent agreement. Golden eyes widened in mixed surprise and pleasure as something deep within the redhead was touched for the very first time, and a sobbed moan slipped from the boy's lips.
"Shh, Hartia. You'll wake everyone up..." The brunette purred, nuzzling the other's ear before nipping at it playfully. Hartia's eyes squoze tightly shut, and he nodded, biting down hard on his lower lip to stop any further vocalizations, "That's a good boy..."
"Krylancelo... please..." These words were whispered, barely audible over the heavy panting both boys were doing, and the soft creak of the old, wooden bed as they rocked together- each pushing the other closer to the release they both craved, "Krylancelo!"\\
~*~
"Krylancelo! Wake *up*!"
Orphen jolted awake, suddenly aware of the hand on his shoulder and the tickle of hair on his cheek.
'On my cheek? My hair isn't that long...'
He opened his eyes slowly and the first thing to come into focus was Hartia's face, screwed up with worry, directly over his, shoulder length red hair lightly brushing against Orphen's flushed cheek.
'So familiar...'
"Krylancelo? Are you alright?"
The next thing Orphen became aware of was the dull, throbbing ache between his thighs, a physical reminder of the dreams he was having. But Hartia didn't seem to notice- more concerned with cooling the brunette's forehead with another cool, damp cloth. Orphen's eyes drifted closed again. That felt nice...
"... tossing and turning and moaning, and you got me all worried. What in the *world* were you dreaming about?"
Hartia was talking again.
"... nothing... it was..."
"Didn't seem like nothing..."
A loud buzzing filled Orphen's ears. He hadn't been sick since he was... he couldn't even remember. This was all so foreign to him. And he hated it.
"... Hartia?"
"Hmm?"
The mattress shifted as Hartia sat down, ever so carefully beside Orphen on the small bed, brushing the brunette's sweat soaked bangs back out of his face.
"When we were kids... did we... Was there something between us? Something... I might've... forgotten, somehow?"
"We were best friends, Krylancelo. I'm sure you didn't forget that."
Orphen's eyebrows knitted together in a slightly irritated frown.
"No... I know that, but... was there ever... more? Like, did we... date? Maybe? Or... or fuck?"
With his eyes closed, Orphen didn't see the bright blush that spread across Hartia's cheeks as the redhead fumbled for some kind of response.
"Well... um... yes, one or the other..."
One sienna coloured eye slitted open.
"What?" And then, "Which one?"
Hartia's blush deepened and he stood abruptly, suddenly feeling *way* too close to his ill-fallen friend. He turned so Orphen couldn't see his face, chewing on his lower lip thoughtfully.
'Dammit... the spell's wearing off. But... why now?'
"And why would I have forgotten?"
Silence.
"... Hartia?"
The redhead only shifted slightly, wrapping his slender arms around himself.
"Hartia! Tell me! What the hell happened?!"
'God, why is he remembering these things? It was supposed to completely erase his memory!'
"*Hartia*!!" Orphen sat up, getting rather furious with the other man, and in a sudden rush, felt the room begin to spin again, "Oh... fuck."
Hartia spun around just in time to see the brunette collapse again.
"Krylancelo!"
~*~
//"I'm leaving, Hartia... whether you come with me or not. I'm going," Tears filled the redhead's golden eyes as he stared at the figure in the doorway. He couldn't just leave. He had so much more to do...
"Krylancelo, please... Don't go!"
"Azari needs me, Hartia! Why can't you understand?! I have to save her!" The brunette paused, looking away from those pleading eyes, "Now, are you coming or not?"
"I... I can't..."
"Then this is good-bye," As Krylancelo turned and left, the only sound was a soft, sobbed chant, and then an even softer whisper.
"I don't want you to hurt... please... just don't remember."\\
~*~
"Hartia?" The redhead smiled slightly as the brunette began to wake up again, "You... you put a spell on me... Why didn't you want me to remember?"
"I just... I didn't want you to remember all the pain I caused you..."
"Pain?" Orphen, eyes still closed, realized that his head was resting in Hartia's lap, and with a soft sigh, buried his face in the warmth of the other's thigh, "When did you cause me any pain?"
"I caused you more pain than I'd like to remember, myself..." Long fingers ran slowly through Orphen's messy hair, calming the brunette's nerves.
"I don't believe you."
"You don't have to."
A long silence passed. Long and contented. Until finally, Orphen spoke again.
"Why didn't you come with me?"
"... I..."
"Never mind. I don't want to know..." Slowly, Orphen rolled onto his back and opened his eyes, staring up at Hartia's face. Tears were slowly trailing down the redhead's cheeks, a sad smile playing on his pale lips, "I don't care..."
With more caution and gentleness than he could ever remember using, Orphen reached up and pulled Hartia down, sitting up only enough to meet the other's lips in a soft, chaste kiss.
It was Hartia who pulled away first, shaking his head.
"No. I can't do this again. Please... Krylancelo, don't do this to me again," Orphen smiled, pushing himself up, slowly, into a sitting position, bracing himself with his arms, just in case.
"Nothing's happening *again*, Hartia...because I'm not Krylancelo anymore. My name is Orphen," Their lips met again, and after only a moment of hesitation, Hartia gave in, letting the brunette's tongue slip into his mouth. Letting Orphen's warm hands tangle in his hair, and slide up under his shirt. Letting himself be pressed down into the mattress...
Just like it had been before.
But this time, he was with Orphen, not Krylancelo.

Ok... it was gonna be a lemon but... yeah... maybe (if I get reviews, and stuff) there'll be a chapter two... *maybe*.
