----------oOo----------
*SIGH*
He had been doing that for the past six years. He'd work, he'd eat, and then he'd sigh looking outside. She had been watching it for the past six years and it was driving her nuts! She had kept her mouth shut, because she also m!!issed her. Still enough was enough!
*SIGH*
"ENOUGH!" She screamed.
"What?"
"You've been doing that for six years! If you miss her so damn much go and get her!"
"I can't. She's where she belongs. Who am I to take her away?"
"Oh come on! You two were so close! Do honestly think she won't want to come back to at least visit?"
"Do you think we could hide her from everyone."
"Errrr...You...Won't...Know...Unless...You...Try! Come on, Haku! I miss her too!"
"She belongs in the human world and you know it."
"STILL she can come and visit. You're making yourself sick, Haku! Do you think she wants that?!"
"It's Wednesday. I'll go and fetch her on Friday and she can stay until Sunday."
"Yes!"
"Lin, go and tell Kamanji. Alert the loyal staff members. We'll need their help to keep her hidden. She can stay with Kamanji while she's here."
"Okay." Lin quickly ran out of the room Haku stayed in and rushed to the elevator.
*SIGH*
'I guess Lin's right. What harm could it do to have her visit for the weekend?'
Haku stepped out on to the balcony and jumped while changing in to his dragon form. He flew away from the bathhouse with speed any race car driver would dream of accomplishing. As he was flying, over the resturants and over the river that was slowly starting to fill with water, he silently wondered if Chihiro would remember him.
'It was six years ago. She'll be sixteen. Did she convince herself it was all a made up fantasy of a depressed ten year old?' Then he wondered as he flew through the tunnel, 'What am I going to do if someone sees me?'
So what if he was leaving early. He would at least get to see Chihiro and how she was doing. He'd go back after a quick look to see how she was doing and then he'd head back to the bathhouse.

"What a day!" A thoroughly exhausted young women yelled. "Mom? Are you home?"
"Oh, hi Chihiro. How was your day?" Her mother's voice always remained calm and collected. When she was angry her voice stayed the same, but always gained a tone of sternness.
"Long and tiring."
"Did you make the track team?"
"No of course I didn't! I'm so clumsey! I thought that I would have outgrown my clumsiness by now."
"It's okay dear. What should I make you for dinner?"
"No thanks. I lost my appetite when the coach read out the new team members."
"Oh, Chihiro."
"I'll be in my room doing my homework."
Chihiro started up the steps ignoring her mother's skeptical look. She told half the truth. She was going upstairs, but she sure as hell wasn't going to do her homework. She actually didn't have any, sort of. The homework she had was due on Friday. She had to write a short story about a childhood experience, but the teacher told them to turn it in to a fairy tale. Well, that would be easy. She had a childhood experience that was a freakin' fairy tale. It was crazy enough to be at least.
'I guess I could at least start it. It won't take long to write.'
All the memories were still fresh. She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Every night since she first arrived in her new home she had the same dream. At first she was positive it really happened, but as she got older and told her parents about it she wasn't so sure. She had explained the dream to them in such detail. From what everything looked like to how she was feeling and why. Her parents grew concerned when she stopped going to clubs and trying out for sports. She had told them that she wanted to be home in case a boy came looking for her and that was when they started sending her to therapy. She stopped going after two monthes and from then on she had kept her dreams to herself. She had a feeling that it was real.
She still had no real desire to do sports or other activities. She felt empty, like half of her was missing. Ever since she met him.
She had forgotten his name long ago, but his image and the feel of his skin against hers was engraved in her mind. She siged and took out her paper and a pen and started writing.
----------oOo----------
Haku flew out of the tunnel like a flash of lightning and flew to his left. He could smell humans everywhere, but one scent was slightly familiar. He followed what he assumed was Chihiro's scent and came upon a blue house. He looked in a second story window and found a young woman sitting at a desk.
She had her elbows on the desk with her hands craddling her chin. She appeared to be deep in thought. He noticed that she had grown up in to a beautiful young woman. Her brown hair was in her signature style, but instead of ending at the bottom of her neck it went down to the middle of her back. Her eyes were the same, but her cheeks lost their childhood chubbiness. She still had her cute red cheeks and brown eyes and hair. She was taller now, she was about six inches shorter than what he was at the moment. She no longer had a stick like figure, but had a womanly figure. Her hips were wider and she had slender legs and small waist. her breasts had filled out and he was surprised he was even looking.
He noticed she lifted her chin out of her hands and rummaged through a bag by her chair. She pulled out a pen and a piece of paper before starting to write. She was halfway down the page when she stopped looked up and then started to turn her head toward him.
He flew off before she could even catch a glimpse of him.
'That was close.'
-----------oOo----------
Chihiro stopped writing and looked up. She felt like someone was watching her. She looked over, but there was no one there.
'That's strange. For a moment...I didn't feel so lonely."
