During afternoon training....."When are you gonna let me go and tame a dragon of my very own?"asked Dodger.
"When I feel you're ready."replied Albel.
"When's that gonna be?"
"It depends. It could take weeks....months...years..."
"YEARS?!"she shrieked.
"Yes years! And if you dont think you can handle it then you can leave!"he shouted pointing out in the opposite direction of Airiglyph.
"Well, how long did it take you to become a soldier. How old were you?"
"I dont want to talk about that."
"Why? Did something bad happen?"she asked.
"I said I dont want to talk about that!"he shouted.
"Okay, okay! Sheesh!"she put her hands on her hips. "So whats for today's training?"Albel placed his hand over the hilt of his katana.
"Today you shall be sparring against me...."he drew out his weapon. Without warning, he charged at her and before she could even react she had been uppercutted. Dodger's eyes dialated as she was knocked off her feet and fell on her back. She coughed up a few specks of blood.
"ouch...."she moaned.
"Get up, worm."commanded the soldier. Dodger slowly sat up then got back onto her feet. She winced in pain.
"Couldnt you at least give me a little warning?"her legs wobbled a little bit.
"Against a real opponent there will be no warning at all. Just ambush. Now shut up and fight me."he swung his katana at her but she she dodged it and drop kicked him.
"HAHAHAHA! You're quick! But Im quicker!"she boasted. Her boasting was abruptly interrupted by an uppercutting punch from the Airiglyph soldier which knocked her right off of her feet. "Hey! That was a sucker-punch!"she complained. "No fair!"she whined getting up.
"There is no fair, maggot!"said Albel jumping up to his feet and slashing his sword at her.
"Eeep!"she evaded his blade. "Well if there's no fair....THEN I'LL JUST DO THIS!"She slammed into his skull head first. The soldier staggered back. A small river of blood trickled down his face. He held his head with one hand hissing painfully.
"Why you little..."he cut off by a blade running across his stomach. Then another one. Dodger was really fast with her scythes.
"I'm a lot tougher than you think!"she bragged. Albel fell to his knees and spewed out some blood. Dodger gasped. "H-h-hey...you're okay, right?"she asked concerned. Albel coughed a few times before he uttered.
"Not bad for a fat menodix..."
"Im not fat! Im just fine! You big-"before she could get out another word, Albel grabbed her by the neck with his metal clawed hand and threw her into a tree. Dodger had never expected that. A large bump formed on the back of her head.
"Ow..."she whined. "That hurts soooo bad."she rubbed the back of her head. She rose to her feet just in time to realize Albel coming towards her full speed with his katana ready. "Taste my boomerang blade attack!"she threw a single scythe at him. Albel had already seen this attacked used on a convictor. He parried the blade with his sword. So Dodger threw the second one. Parried again. Now she was completely unarmed. What was she going to do?
"Remember this, worm: never leave yourself defensle-"a large cloud of dirt flew into his eyes. "Arrggh!"he staggered back, his eyes watering.
"You forgot about my sand attack!"she took this time, while Albel was stunned to run and retrieve her scythes. "Now it's time to finish-"she stopped dead in her tracks. She slightly raised her head up and sniffed the air. "Something's cookin'." her mouth began to water as she ran back into the direction of Airiglyph. "Food, food, food, food, food!"she kept chanting over and over.
"Get back here, maggot! You're training is still INCOMPLETE!"he shouted from the top of his lungs.

"Oh wow, Moca, you sure know how to cook a good meal."said Dodger who was laying in her bed all snug and cozy.
"Why thank you so much, Dodger-chan. But may I ask you a question, if you dont mind?"
"Sure. Lay it on me!"
"Why do you sleep naked?"
"Why?"she chuckled. "It gives me a sense of liberation! That and its more comfortable."she giggled. "But you know what?"
"What?"
"It's funny you asked about that. I had this strange dream that someone was fondling my body....well....my stomach at least." Moca's eye twitched a little.
"Is that so?"
"Yup. Felt kinda nice though."
"Well....glad you enjoyed that. Just dont get your sheets wet."
"Dont worry, I'll try not too."she laughed. "Goodnight."
"When I feel you're ready."replied Albel.
