Soon… I shall awaken soon…
The thoughts of a madman. Or more accurately, the thoughts of a dreaming madman. One of which was more than 5,000 years old. Who lay sleeping in a tomb surrounded by warrior relics. Carvings of wars and 3 6 ft. swords surrounded him. He lay in this state for one purpose.
Revenge.

//Egypt//
"Doctor?"
Dr. Samuel Adams crept into the bedroom-sized crypt. Hours ago, his workers had uncovered this tomb that had somehow escaped detection until now.
"This is magnificent. Joseph! Come look at these carvings."
Dr. Joseph Calahan crept into the crypt and joined his friend. The carvings were magnificent. But they were also disturbing. "This person has an obsession with the killing of humans." He pointed to the 3 statues. "Those are enough." Then he noticed something. The swords… they seemed to be guarding something.
"Doctor!" One of the Egyptian guides discovered what they were guarding. A sarcophagus. Dr. Jackson ran a hand over it.
"No markings or hieroglyphs. That's strange." He pointed at the guide. "Help us open this!"
"Y-yes sir."
The 3 men braced themselves and, with much effort, pushed the lid off. What they found startled them.
A figure, adorned in a dress-like robe, lay sleeping. The figure looked strangely young, like a 19 year-old. He had black, spiky hair with a white spot near the forehead.
"My god. He's perfectly-"
"Preserved." Dr. Adams pulled at the robe.
Then the unimaginable happened. The figures' eyes snapped open, revealing reddish-brown rage-filled eyes. The figure sat up and grabbed Dr. Jackson's wrist in a leathery hand. Dr. Calahan and the guide stumbled backwards toward the entrance, only to find it blocked.
The 3 men's screams echoed throughout the tunnel.

Minutes later, the figure exploded out of the chamber. He hovered in the air for a minute or two, the dropped to the ground. "Stupid humans." He then took off. As he flew, he growled, "Soon, my sisters, soon I shall free you from those who treat you as slaves."

//Japan//
Red, the Steel Angel of America, fought her opponent now with more vigor than when she had fought Fleur, France's Steel Angel. Her opponent was strange, it kept dodging her attacks. It, or she, at least that's what she thought. The figure was wearing a lavender robe, and a mask. Actually, an Egyptian death mask (like the one King Tut had). The fighter never spoke, but she could tell that it was a Steel Angel from the way it carried itself.
"Get `er, Red!"
"With pleasure." Red threw a punch at the figure, which in turn, vanished. "HUH!? Where'd she go!?" She turned around and there the fighter was. The fighter held up something.
"H-how in the hell did she get the enblem!?"
As if in reply, Red's clothes fell to the ground in tatters. She swiftly covered her breasts. The figure lingered for a minute, then vanished.
"Sh-she disappeared!?"

//The Academy//
Kaga narrowed her eyes. "This is impossible. No Steel Angel can move that fast."
Dr. X, leader of the Academy (of Advanced Sciences) sat back in his chair. They were reviewing the latest fight, the Americans vs. the unknown fighter. He narrowed his eyes. "What then?"
Kaga paced, shaking her head. "I don't understand it myself, but the evidence is right there."
Diana walked in. "I just spoke with the Egyptian military. They do not have a Steel Angel running about."
Dr. X leaned back. "So we have a rogue on our hands."
Kaga stopped pacing and looked at him. "Sir, may I go after this rogue?"
Diana was about to say to no, but Dr. X cut her off. "Yes, and report once you defeat it."
"Yes sir." Kaga ran and jumped out the window. Diana watched her go.
"Sir, why-?"
"I had planned on having one of you compete in the Steel Angel Fight to determine the strongest." He looked at her. "Unless…?"
"No objections, sir."

//Somewhere near Kyoto, Japan//
The figure walked along the road. On the sleeve of it's robe, was the American emblem. Suddenly, it jumped. Kaga appeared right where it had previously been.
"You're fast." She smirked. "But I'm faster." She jumped at it leg outstretched. The figure jumped again and caught her leg. Kaga countered with a blow to the stomach. The figure let out a grunt and let her go. Kaga then delivered a roundhouse kick to the head. The figure landed on the ground, feet first. The mask cracked, then split in half. The two halves of the mask fell to the ground, revealing the back of someone's head.
The figure stood up and faced her. She froze. It couldn't be… yet there was no mistaking those red eyes.
"Sokar."
"Kaga."
