Robin cracked his eye open to the window. The sun was shining through his window. "oh crap!" groaned the titan, "I overslept!" robin sprung out of bed and got into his routine outfit. When he got out of his room, everyone else was in the lobby. "Well, look who decided to join us!" mocked Cyborg who was making breakfast at the time. "Good to see you robin, how was your slumber?" robin knew that wondrous voice. Sure enough, Starfire came gliding into view. "oh! I slumber just fine. I-I mean I slept just f-fine." Stammered robin. Robin mentally cursed himself. Why did he always have to act like such a dork around Starfire? Why couldn't he act smooth? "Dude, don't hurt yourself!" said beastboy in concern. Only then did robin realize he had been in sitting there thinking for a few minutes. "sorry, beastboy. I was just thinking, that's all." Robin then sat down with the rest of the titans and ate breakfast. "Oh, robin. A letter came for you." Beastboy handed robin a small letter. Robin opened it up and read it to himself.

Dear robin and company,

First off, let me start by saying hello. It's been awhile since we've gotten together, and when I talked it over with everyone, we all decided that it would be a rather fond idea to come and visit. I suppose that we will arrive in about a day. See you then.

A smile spread across robins face. "guys, the fellowship is coming to visit!" "Awesome!" exclaimed Cyborg. "Aragorn can teach me some new moves! "I must admit," added raven. "Gandalf always helps me increase my powers." "Yes it will be glorious!" chimed Starfire. Come, we must prepare!" Starfire flew off to clean the tower. As soon as star was out of earshot, beastboy turned to robin. Smooth robo, smooth." "Hey! Shut up man!" shouted robin. "Hey, you ask her out, then I'll stop bothering you. "Forget this!" robin stormed out of the lobby. "god! Beastboy is such a prick! Thought robin. "He knows I'm to chicken to ask her out!" robin got to his room and walked in. robin had liked Starfire from the very minute he had saw her. But, seeing as how he had always been a failure with girls, he had never worked up the courage to tell her how he felt. Robin sat down on his bed with a sense of hopelessness. "maybe I should just ask her out, only if I had some help…."
