There's this totally awesome video for Tsubasa on youtube called Butterfly. I can't stop listening to the song. It inspired this one shot. Don't worry. It's not a songfic.

Butterfly

Ravens, Beast Boy decided, have too much bad connotation around them.

Maybe she'd be happier if she felt less like a raven, less like the messenger of death associated with ravens. Maybe she'd laugh. Maybe she'd smile.

If she felt like less of a raven, that is.

She was more like a butterfly anyway.

A butterfly with a torn wing or something. Caught in a net. A butterfly that needed to be free.

Or a butterfly that's still in its cocoon.

A butterfly that wants to be a flower.

Or just a butterfly, beautiful and graceful, but fragile, needing to be saved.

Or maybe he just thought too much.
