Teen Titans Fan Fiction ❯ Ignore ❯ One-Shot
[ A - All Readers ]
I can't get the next chapter of Normal Like You going so I'm gonna post this one shot instead. Enjoy. Don't kill me. If you haven't posted a review for NLY yet, would ya? I need one more for 300. (He he. I'm a feedback whore.)
Ignore
Silence.
...
....
Quiet, actual real, peaceful silence filled the Tower. Raven smiled to herself.
...
.....
"...."
"Raa-a-a-a-a-aaa-a-a-aveee-e-e-ee -e-e-e-en!!"
Her concentration shattered and she threw down her book with a groan.
"What?" she snapped at Beast Boy, who had popped up beside her, a sly look on his face.
"What'ya up to?" he asked, peering over her shoulder.
"I -was- enjoying myself until you made some noise."
"I'm the equivalence of a noise-maker, Ravie. I make pointless noises when provoked."
"What provoked you?" she hissed, then stopped, frowning. "Don't call me Ravie." She'd almost missed that. They'd think she was going soft.
"You did, -Ravie-," he grinned, "Being all silent and concentrate-y."
Her frown deepened and she turned back to her book. "I said don't call me Ravie."
"Ravie, Ravie, Ravie," he was stepping his boundaries, putting a toe or two past the line. Just enough to provoke her, to get the usual reaction. (She was cute when she was angry. Hell, she was cute when she was focusing, meditating, serious, about anytime of the day. Not that he'd ever tell her that. He was putting himself in enough danger at the moment.)
"I think Ravie's a bit too tightly strung," he continued, "Maybe she should try some herbal tea. You like that stuff, right?"
She made no response, meerly opened her book and continued to read. He frowned.
"Come on, Ravie. Let's go do something. I'm bored."
Flip.
"..."
He wrinkled his nose, not pleased with her lack of shouting. "Ra-a-a-ven," he groaned, "Sa-a-a-ay somethi-i-i-ing!"
Flip.
He flipped over the couch, landing beside her and peering into her book.
"Ra-a-a-a-a-a-aaa-ve-e-e-e-en," he groaned again, hoping to catch her attention, "Don't ignore me!"
"..."
Flip.
"Fine," he pouted, crossing his arms indignantly, "Then I just won't speak. See how you like that."
She smiled. He closed his mouth.
Ah, silence
....
....
...
"Ra-a-a--a-a-a-aaa-aven! Ta-a-a-a-a-lk to me-e-e-e-e-e!!"

Author(ess) Notes:
K. I'm watching the latest episode of Teen Titans while typing this, and it's very anticlimactic. Yes, I'm happy we got to see Slade one more time before the show was over. But I'm angry that they brought Terra back. And how Beast Boy's acting. He should've let go a long time ago. Very annoying. And you think he would've stood out more, considering the fact that he's green in purple spandex.
The last episode should've been the last episode. It had a good ending. This one was just stupid. Maybe they could've put it earlier. Or at the start of a new season. They could've resolved it better. It looks like an episode that deserves a second part.
As for “Titans Together” I was sorely disappointed with some of the people they had on the villains'' side. Like the headmistress of the H.I.V.E. academy. And Malchior. That annoyed me.
So… I'm done ranting. Review, would ya?
