Chapter 4: The Final Rebirth

Thanks: Thanks to my cousin who watched me over as a kid and just got married last weekend. This one is for you guys. Thank you to Star who not only helped inspire me but gave the last bit of info I need to finish this part and didn't seen to mind my bad jokes. Thanks once more to my teacher who did a lot for me this year and even though today was my last day of school they will be mind for a long time to come.

Deep thoughts: It's odd when you think about how anime has brought together people from all over the world. It is anime that has put a lot of things in clear view if you look at the messages of the shows. They have some true tales of pain and love such as Tekno/Tekkaman. People all over the world enjoy these shows which have been made in God knows how many different languages. (I hope I spelled that right.)

Notes: Please anyone of my teachers, friends, or family to not read this chapter. This one is why I rated it R. It has implied sex, nudity (which is hard since I'm writing not drawing), and a lot of violence (which they'll will be a lot of from now on.). The next weird fact for Teknoman. So far no one else seemed to notice the odd name thing. Well here's another thing I found out. The song "Kryptonite" by three doors down. (I'm really more of a B*Witched fan myself) can be song and still make since if you replace Superman with Teknoman (but not Tekkaman in my opinion at least) and kryptonite with Saber's might. Weird right? This is my longest chapter so far and most won't be this long. I wrote this one to show the love of and friendship of the Space Knights and show the pain of war. I know it's been done way too many times but hey it's my fic. Also one part at the end was made to remind people that it was not just Blade and the other main characters that took a key part in the story.


Vexor tried to ram her elbow into Saber's armored face only to have him duck and punch her in the gut and then as she went down he hit her on her back sending her flying to the ground. Summer tried to swipe his covered blade across Saber's back while he sent Vexor to the ground. He would have succeeded except Saber turned and using his lance to block the blow. Saber pushed Summer away and sent him crashing into an old building that no one had live in since the first war. Hiver flew to strike Saber from his left side only to find her target had moved away. As she tried to stop and turn Saber kicked her and she was sent fling into the same building as Summer. Vexor launched herself off the ground and towards Saber. The red and black Teknoman on took the offensive. He flew to meet Vexor. The force of their blades meeting sent a shock wave of pain through Vexor and she grunted in pain. I won't let you beat me I may not be able to kill you because of Blade but I will show you who's stronger. Then when the others aren't around I'll avenge myself and all those you killed. These were Natasha's thoughts but with even that slight loss of focus Saber was able to shift angles and slam his spare elbow into her face. He then separated his lance and held the now two swords, which he used in both hands to hold off the other two Teknomen. Sabers then cut off his engines and drop to the ground leaving both Hiver and Summer stunned. He landed right behind Vexor and put his blade on her shoulder. "Vexor is now dead! You have lost one of your allies and you have both see that you are out powered. What's your next move?" Saber chided them. The two looked at each other and then both flew towards Saber. "Good answer." Saber said in a silent whisper. He flew up to meet them. I've taught them all I can. There as ready I anyone can make them but they still aren't ready but then who could be ready for what's being asked of them. These were Saber's thoughts as he flew to meet these newest Space Knights who he had been training with. He did not look at Vexor but if he had he would have seen a look of shock that could be seen through her armor. How could he beat me again? Were the thoughts that filled the mind of Teknoman Vexor.

DeadEnd stuck Blade in his left shoulder only to receive a punch to his stomach and to his face into the time it took him to make one hit. DeadEnd now knew what it was truly like to fight the famous Teknoman Blade. I thought I had him beat but now I know. The first time he was unprepared, the second he was wounded, and the third time he held back. DeadEnd realized. DeadEnd redouble his efforts to prove he was a good as Blade or at least learn all he could from fighting him. DeadEnd flew towards Blade only to have Blade meet him halfway. They clashed instead of the normal standoff of Teknomen Blade moved to the right and turned and hit DeadEnd in the back of the head. Blade then rammed himself into DeadEnd and sent them both down to Earth. Blade flew up to avoid the force of impact but DeadEnd had no such option. The impact jarred DeadEnd. He began to stand up but the hour-long battle with Blade had exhausted him. Blade landed his body ached and he was barley able to stand himself but the lesson Dead had learn today was worth all the pain he felt. Dead now would never doubt Blade's command in battle and now knew the danger of staying in Teknomode too long. I may not have only half an hour to fight again but no ones body should have to stay hyper metabolic for this long. Blade thought as he helped DeadEnd up. "Do you want me to call the base and send out a jeep Dead?" Ness asked as he removed his Teknoarmor. "No. I'm fine." Dead answered as his armor went away. "Thanks again for showing me how to keep my clothes." Dead added. "I just wish the others could." Ness stated remembering the way David would stare at Star. "Come on there's a picnic basket with our name on it." Ness said as he started to walk to where Ringo and Star were to meet them.

Star stood under a great tree and looked over at the Teknomen that were flying to her. Teknoman Summer, Hiver, and Vexor landed. "Head over to the trailer and get dressed." Star ordered. "Yes Chief!" They said in unison. "Old Jamison must be proud of you." Ringo said as he walked out of the trailer to give room for the others. "Ringo Ness and Dead should be here soon I want you to go get Saber err I mean Cain from the city." Star said not responding to the complement. Ringo looked at where she was staring wondered what she was looking at and said, "Sure don't worry about it. Star?" "What," she responded. "Look we both know Blade or Ness what ever he calls himself now is going into the Teknobot for the Blastor transformation you should go and have a some quite time today before we have to head back tomorrow." Ringo stated in a matter of fact tone. "Speak of the Devil or should I say devils." Ringo said as Ness and Dead walk into sight. "Go on I'll go get Cain and you better not be here when I get back." Ringo ran off to one the two jeeps to go find Cain. He did not see the smile on Star's face. "Have fun?" Star asked once they came close enough to hear her. "Yea lots of fun I lost half my body weight and got beat again." Dead answered. "Head on in Dead. Blade and I have some place to go. After I change." With that Star headed in. "So how ya do Dead," Yumi asked. "Fine Blade got me again how about you guys?" Dead responded. "Saber wailed on us." David interrupted as he and Natasha walked out of the trailer and Star went in. "These guys are tough but why all this extra training and why'd we have to come all this way away from the base? And what's with Blade having a twin all of a sudden I've never knew he had family but then what do we know about Blade?" David mused. "He's the devil that's who Blade's brother is." Natasha said with only a side-glance to Blade who had taken a seat in the other jeep.

Star walked out of the trailer in a bright yellow dress. She didn't bother with the looks she got from the others she only wondered what Ness would think about her dress. She knew he liked it just by the look on his face. She placed the picnic basket in the jeep and jumped in only slightly aware of how she may have slightly disrupted their image of her. Right now I couldn't care less about what they think I need time with Ness. Were Star's thoughts as she joined Ness in the jeep.

As Ness and Star drove off Ringo found Saber in the abandoned city where he had been training the others. "Are there many place like this on Earth?" Cain asked without looking away from the setting sun. "Not many but some." Ringo said flatly. "So what's up?" Ringo asked. "I was in this city as Saber I mean." Saber responded. "Oh." Was all Ringo could think to say. "It's hard to believe that people never moved back in." Saber said as he looked at the plant-covered buildings. Some where still intact while other were little more than heaps of bricks. "Well a lot of people went up to the Space Ring and others just weren't here anymore. So what's with all the question about this place?" Saber answered, "Just thinking." Ringo sighed "No your looking for something and you don't even know what." He stated flatly. "I suppose you know?" Cain asked sarcastically. "Yea as a matter fact a I do." Ringo responded. "You want to be forgiven by all the people Saber killed or hurt. You won't admit to yourself because you know that no one is going to forgive you and that everyone will just tell that it was the bug in your head. Well guess what it was. As much guilt as you feel you can't accept that no one blames you." Cain stood in shock he looked at Ringo in his shorts and t-shirt and wondered how this man could be so profound one moment and a total jerk next. "Not everyone," was all Cain said as he went to the jeep and hopped in. "You coming?" Cain asked. Ringo shrugged his shoulders and got in.

Star laid out a blanket and put the basket down. She opened it up and saw a bottle of wine with a note saying.

Ringo

Star smiled and laughed. "What's so funny?" Ness asked. "Look what Ringo sent." She replied. Ness laughed when he saw the note. "Do you think he's trying to give us a clue?" Ness asked Star as he pulled out two glasses. "About what?" Star asked as she popped out the cork. "So did you make the food?" Ness asked in fringed fear. "No." Star laughed as she whacked Ness playfully on the head.

Dawn was approaching and Star knew what it meant. She and Ness would have to go back to the others and leave this one moment of peace. She laid in Ness arms with only those arms to cover her nude body. "You shouldn't think about it you know." Ness said as he pulled her closer to him as if he was wanted to hold this moment in time still forever. "Were are we going in this relationship?" Star asked in her Chief voice. "What do you mean?" Ness asked startled. This had never been brought up before. "Ness I know we're lucky to get time to ourselves as it is but Ness I want more than this." Star said this in a daze these thoughts had been in her subconscious but had no move in her open mind and surprised her how much she meant them. "Look," she went on, "if you don't want to talk about it we don't have to it just had to be said." Ness looked at her and saw through her eyes how much this meant to her. "Star, our lives are just too........" Ness cut himself off. "No, that's not right it not our lives that's kept us from getting married it's me. Don't interrupt me if I don't say this now I may never be able to. Star it's easy to stay like this that way I feel like I'm less likely to lose you. I know how it sounds. Your my best friend my only love and my salvation." Ness looked at Star how she looked in dawn's early light at how beautiful she looked. He walked over to his pants and removed a small box. "I've put this in my pants I don't know how many times." He bent down on his knee and began to speak. "Wait," Star interrupted, "I don't want you to asked just because I pressured you if want to end this now just say so." Ness's look said more words than he could ever say. He laughed and said, "How many kids do you want?" He slid the ring on her hand and they embraced. If there was one perfect moment of bliss in their lives this would have been it. But there is no one perfect moment and hope fully will see many more. Ness thought as he held his love.

Three Days later at Space Knight Command Center:

Star sat with Ringo eating a small lunch. "So when the date?" Ringo asked. Startled Star asked, "For what?" Ringo gave her a looked and simply replied, "For the wedding." Star sighed, "How did you know?" "you're wearing his mom's ring." Ringo said as he took a bite out of sandwich. "His mother's ring!" Star yelled out in surprise. "You didn't know?" Ringo asked. "No! How did you?" Star responded. Ringo taking yet another bite of his sandwich answered, "Cain saw it when you came back to camp and told me about it when I asked." "Great so Cain knows too?" Star asked with false hope. "Yep." Ringo answered as he reached for another sandwich. "We don't have a date set yet. It's really just the next step you know?" Star said. "Yea I get you. So how'd you talk him into it anyway and please tell me I'm not the one to tell Yumi." Ringo responded. "I didn't talk him into it and you'll tell no one about this not even Balzac." Star answered. "How did you know I was talking to Balzac?" Ringo asked. It was Star's turn to give him the look. "I'm Chief of the Space Knights and you're in Space Knight Command Center. Now don't change the subject promise not to say a word or I won't let you in the executive cafeteria." Ringo looked a little frightened at the idea of going back to all military meal and quickly agreed to keep his mouth shut.

"So when's the date?" Cain asked his brother as they sat in his room eating a lunch. "So you know." Ness said rather than asked. "I know and so does Ringo." Cain responded. Ness sighed think about what kind of lunch Star was having with Ringo. "Saw the ring right?" Ness asked. "Yep. Here I got you a getting married getting Blastor mode gift." Cain said as he reached into a cabinet and pulled out a thin package. "You shouldn't have." Ness said as he opened it he saw it was a copy of Superman Forever from back in the year 2000. "How where did you get this?" Ness asked in awe. "It was our great great granddad's copy he put some sort of spray on it to keep it from going bad. I remember how much you love to read about those old comic on the computer. I got it from dads safe at the cabin. I hope you like it." Cain said hoping his brother would like it and not say he grew out of comics. "Thanks bro this means a lot to me." Ness said he could say no more because there were no words for what he was feeling at that moment. In this one gift Cain had laid all doubts his brother held about him.

1hour later under the base:

"Your Blastor mode looks different. What happened?" Star asked as she looked at the scan of Cain's crystal and the Blastor mode blueprints inside. "The new warlord upgraded me. Don't worry all the new parts are safe I've used it twice already." Cain responded. They looked at Saber's Blastor mode it no longer held the demonic look but it held the look of Blade's Blastor mode only the white was black and the red was much darker like the color of blood. Star began to explain to the other what was happening. "We will be putting Blade into a Teknobot similar to the one I use. It will take some hours to give Blade his Blastor mode." "What is a Blastor mode Chief?" Natasha asked. "Blastor it the second most powerful form of a Teknoman mode we know of. It gives the user a great bit more power and abilities. Before you ask no one else is getting one. Blade has had one so we are improving and repairing his." Yumi asked "Are you sure it's safe?" "Yes." Was all Star felt like saying to the high strung Teknoman. Why aren't we called Teknowomen anyway? Star wonder. "The transformation will take some time and we as well as 127 Sol Teknosuits will guard Blade. Now as you all know Teknomen are all connected. While all of us were transformed by human means Blade wasn't so more than likely they will know if he is going through the process. We expect an attack that is why we will not be at the command center but at another lab that was built to better withstand an attack." Star stated. The unsaid question was what place could be better defended than the base. "Also Blade will receive many of the things Saber has that he lacks. Such as the reflectors and cloaking device."

One hour later:

"Are you ready Ness?" Star asked as she entered Ness's hidden room. "Yea just give me a sec would you Star?" Ness asked as he took one last look at the photo of Shara on his nightstand. "She'd be worried about you wouldn't she?" Star asked as she came to sit by him on his bed. "Yes she would. She'd be worried about the things I've done and what I'm still doing. But most of all she'd be worried about how I spend all my time in an office and haven't give her any nephews or nieces yet." Ness said with a deep sigh and choked back some tears. "Well let's see what we can do about that." Star said as she kissed him. "Do we really have time for this?" Ness asked even though he already had Star's shirt off. "I run this place we have time." Star said as she pulled Ness shirt off.


Some time later in a hidden location:

"Well look who finally made it." Ringo said as Ness and Star entered the underground complex. "Is everything ready?" Star asked without a trace of humor. "Yes everything is ready. The kids are in orbit waiting for an attack that we all know is coming and just are hoping that they forgot the address." "Good where's Cain?" Star asked suspiciously. "He's talking with an old friend who nearly killed him when he saw he was alive but I calmed him down." Ringo answered. "Who?" Ness asked afraid of the answer. Before Ringo could responded someone yelled form the next room, "The only person crazy enough to come away from his peaceful farm to see you two." "Balzac!" Both Star and Ness yelled. "Yea that would be me. Ringo got me down here but just for this one time I've got a kid after all." "How is your family anyway?" Star asked. "Fine and I see you have your family coming together. Nice ring Star and how about your brother coming back from the dead. I miss all the fun." "Well come on let get this show on the road." Ringo said. "So how are we doing in the way of security?" Balzac asked. "What do you mean we have who knows how many Teknosuit we have the kids making sure no get through as well as two count them two Teknomen. All we need is a guy in a cape in all black shape like a bat." "Well Ringo do I have to remind you that against Teknomen our Sol suit are that effective and even if we have all the suits in the Space Knights is it enough?" Balzac stated. "We do have all the suit in the Space Knights here." Star stated. "Oh." was all Balzac could manage. "Let's go." Ness said as he enter the lower levels of the complex. As the four of them walked down the hall Ringo said jokingly "Does any one else have that strange felling that we've done this before?" No one answered because it was all to true that they all felt that way each was fight there own fears for what was to come.

Blade stood in front of the rebuilt Teknobot Pegus and looked at his friends no his family and he didn't mean just Cain. These people had fought beside him in his hardest time. Now he could loose them again if he didn't hurry but he wanted one last look just incase. "I'll see you soon." He said as he entered the interlock camber.

Cain just sat down by the Teknobot and said nothing. Star led the other out of the room. She and Cain had talked and agreed that he would be the last line of defense. "Okay, here were I give you the edge you need." Star said to Ringo and Balzac. "Come on in." She said. There stood two Sol suits. One looked like the Space Knight stander, which of course was what the original second suit had looked, liked. The Space Knights had kept the old look while the ones the military used held the new green look. The other one looked just like the first suit had that was made eleven years ago. The only difference these suits appeared to have over the others was the fact that they were slightly larger. "These are the latest in Sol suits. Made just for you two and yes Balzac when this is all over you can take it home I want you to have something to look after my goddaughter with." Star said with a smile. Balzac smiled back and asked, "So what makes these two so special?" "I'm glad you asked. They of course have the Voltekka technology, but we've added a few things. A quantum pistol with three shot to buy you some loading time for the big guns. We've got antimatter warheads like Pegus used. Inside the wrist is the latest in armor pricing bullets. They also have two quantum missiles and if you look on the back you'll see a sword. These swords are made just like the Teknomen ones you can hack through almost anything with them." Ringo and Balzac looked at the suit like kids who just got new toys. "Nice." Ringo said as he began to suit up.

Edward Lacly suited up in his Teknosuit. What great chance to prove myself. He thought as he suited. The Space Knight Sol suits were base off the original two suits and so appeared the basically the same as the second suit even if the capabilities had greatly improved. Still the Space Knights rarely used their suits since the Teknomen protected the base. Now's our chance to prove we can fight those #$#* aliens just like Teknomen. Edward looked at his squad of seven women and six men. Even though all six Space Knight base had sent all their soldiers here he knew his was the best, yet saw the fear on their face. Maybe the Chief shouldn't have told us that we'd be protecting Blade instead of the other way around. No He thought as he shook his head She wanted us all to know what we are fighting for and what we may die for. Edward's thoughts drifted to his wife at the base who was normally part of the squad but was out on medical leave. Well that's all my fault how was I to know she forgot to take her pill. He smiled as he thought of his future son or daughter.

Yumi was bored. This was not a good thing for those who were around her. "Tell me again why were out here instead of with Blade." She asked. David sighed and said, "Because to get to them they have to go through us which buys the other down there more time. Now Yumi read a comic book look at the stars but stay quite or I'm going to shove you out the airlock!" He saw her eyes moist up and quickly apologized and promised he wouldn't yell again. This brought a laugh to Dead and Natasha who quickly stopped and looked at each other. They were still trying to figure out where they stood with each other. "Why do you hate Saber?" Dead ask suddenly. "None of your concern." She responded coldly and gave him a look that if it could kill would have torn his skin off broke every bone in his body and then kills him.

Mean while just past Pluto:


"Master, a gravity flux is occurring our new warlord arrives." A small alien Teknoman told the alien version of a fleet commander. His name was Daretheia he had fail in three attempts to conquer Earth and now the high council sent one of the council member's son to take over. The brat is a fool. He destroyed and enslaves three worlds and he thinks he knows how do my jobs. Well he'll find Earth quite different. Daretheia thought as he saw the huge warship come out of hyperspace. The Warlord Dache was not pleased with this mission. Backwater world in a system that has no real value except for slaves. Granted these being are similar to us in the physical way but also in the way their Teknoarmor forms. It's not like most of our slave who's wroth is little more than the Kerekavo! (Spidercrabes) He thought as entered the shuttle to take him to the cloaked base that they kept hidden from the humans. During my pervious visit some cycles ago but from what Daretheia tells me Saber has betrayed me. These humans must be taught some respect. He thought with a vinous smile that promised cruelty beyond anything human. "My lord." Daretheia said as he kneeled before his lord and master. "Rise." Was Dache said as he enters the main shuttle bay. Dache's Teknoarmor was a mix of crimson and gold and his joints were silver. he entered the war room and activated the screen too look at Earth. "You will send half your remain troops the Space Ring and the others we will jump directly to where the traitors are." Dache stated. "My lord," Daretheia pleaded, "if we send our whole army what then?" "Do you doubt your troops?" Dache asked. "No master." He answered in a choked voice that if the warlord hadn't been in a better mood would have brought quick pain to the fleet commander. "I have brought double your of troops and will replace all those who fail have me. Your troops should be trained enough and have will have these foolish people out number. We will show them the foolishness of challenging the Venemoids! HaHaHaHaHaHaHa!" Dache laughed as he thought of the human corpses hanging on his wall their blood and gut spewing everywhere as he drink their blood and smeared all over the whore slave he would buy himself for this latest victory.

"Commander we have a red alert sighting!" A young private screamed in panic as he saw thousands of alien Teknomen coming out of nowhere and heading straight for the Space Ring. "Alert the Space Knights and launch all Sol suits." Commander Philter order in a calm and cool voice. "And may God help us all." He added in a silent whisper.

"they're here!" David yelled as he ran to the nearest airlock. "Teksetter!" He yelled as he began his transformation into Teknoman Summer. "Teksetter!" The others yelled as they began their transformation into Teknoman DeadEnd, Hiver, and Vexor. They flew out ready to engage the enemy and protect Blade. Suddenly half of the Spidercrabes and alien Teknomen vanished. "What's going on?" Vexor asked in shock. "They just vanished!" Yumi yelled in shock. "Were they even here or did they some how teleport to the lab?" DeadEnd asked all ready fearing the answer and praying that he was wrong. "No time to worry about that now." David said as the enemy launched themselves towards Earth's defense force.

Blade floated in the world of his mind. It's not like the last time He thought as floated trough his memories. At time he knew true fear. Is my mind slipping away again? He asked himself. No this is just my mind. Thank God! He said to himself. How odd I was never really religious before Star thinks it silly of me now. But how could I have done all I've done and still walked away with my body, mind, and soul if there was no God to help humanity. I mean was only suppose to live for a few more months not for all these years and I got my memories back. Of course I owe my memories to Star. He thought about the times he spent in Star's care about how she had help him remember who he was and about his family. I won't lose my memories this time. Blade swore to himself. His thoughts went to his little sister Shara. He thought about how she had given up her life to save his. He thought of how his father would have loved Star who had so much fire in her. Finally his thoughts went to the one person of his family who had not been on the Argos but who had died when he was only ten years old. I think you would have like Star too mom. He had only a few memories of his mother but those that he had he held dear to. Blade soon left his mind and went to the sweet nothingness of the darkness as the Blastor process went into the next stage.

A rift in space opened up and a boom filled the air as if Earth itself had been defiled by the sudden evil that had appeared on her and she screamed for vengeances against those who would dare attack her and her children, and vengeance would be had as Earth children prepared to defend their mother and themselves. The Space Knight's defenses came on. Plasma cannons came out of hidden areas and began the first counter attack against those who would threaten them. In the past the aliens had had their way with the people of Earth, but that had been in the days when there had been evil human Teknomen that only Blade could fight and only two Sol suits. Now, however, there were no human Teknomen to fight for them and there were plenty of suits and a lot of humans who had lost loved ones to those human Teknomen and these alien Teknomen were easy targets for vengeances of course these targets had teeth.

"they're here." Ringo said quietly to Balzac over the radio. "Yep." Balzac responded. "Big word." Ringo said as he went to the hanger. to go out of and join the battle. They stood out in the misted of Hell. Humans and Teknomen fell and died horribly. At one point in Earth's history war had been a game. "Noble" men would fight over land and never have to worry about getting killed only their servants would die. At one point war had been used for freedom and to stop the at of genocide. Now though war was an act of survival. In a way humanity had united over the fact that they could all be killed. Now Ringo and Balzac saw the true spoils of war. They walked past the remains of a woman whose Teknosuit had been ripped apart at the chest reviling her ripped breasts. Ringo held his breath as he saw one man cut in half and his entrails fall out. The sky was one of blue and red blood as those who fell from the air sometimes landed on those who fought on the ground. On alien Teknoman's head had been blow off and it fell on to the ground it's body was shot apart by those who weren't sure it was dead. Ringo put the sights aside and decided he would have far too many nightmares about this day. And it was day. A massacre like this would have been more at home in the dead of night, but now it was only now turning to dusk and it promised to be a long time before night. Ringo used his leg boots, he decided that he would let those who were far younger handle the air battle he would stay on the ground where he knew how to fight in a suit. He fired his quantum gun at the nearest target. It tore out the female Teknoman's chest and left a bloody stain on the ground. Another Teknoman flew towards him only to be blow away by Balzac who gave Ringo a thumbs up before going farther out into the battlefield. They moved like death come to claim their enemies. A Teknospear nearly cut through Balzac only to miss by a few inches. Balzac took aim at his would be slayer and fired his large cannon which quickly ended the aliens life. But it was still a life wasn't. I can't do this anymore this has to be last time. Balzac reminded himself as he skipped to the next target took aim and fired the blast only cut off the alien's arm. Another one flew only at him. It slammed him into the ground and came around for the killing blow when suddenly it was cut in three parts and it's blood, guts, and organs spewed over him but he still saw his savior. He saw a red Teknoman a woman who he knew as a friend but right now if she had not just save his life he may have called her a butcher.

Star stood in the battlefield. She had sent Pegasus to fight in the air while she help Ringo and Balzac on the ground. She saw Balzac about to be cut down and struck. She used her double bladed Teknolance and cut the being in three different parts. She felt no remorse for those she killed she was setting them free. She broke her lance and wielded it like two swords cut and slicing through those who would hurt her family and friends. One came at her and she cut it through the stomach and the moved out of the way of the fluids that flowed out of the gapping wound. Another one placed a small blow on her shoulder. While it did not do any real damage she turned around and pushed her hand into its chest and crushed its heart. It let out a death cry as it fell. Three more came at her and she swirled and cut them all in different places before she jumped out of their trap and stuck on of her blades into the back of one of them. The other two each had their throats cut before they could register the death of their comrade. The died quickly and silently. Just the way I like it less nightmares that way. She thought as she selected her next target.

Ringo slammed into the face of the alien and open the guns on the hand of his armor to fill its face full of high-powered lead. He picked up his big gun and saw that it was recharged. He took aim at his next target and fired two clean shots. He didn't bother to see if they hit there were two many targets to hit and too much recharge time. One flew at him and dodged it and turned. As he turned he drew his sword and cut the head of the alien. The sword was strong but still human made it did not fully cut through the head but did sever the spine. He turned back to the main battle they had so far kept the aliens from gain one inches of ground but he knew it wouldn't last he now saw that the Spidercrabs had finally shown up. They were easier to kill but add to just too many targets to an already almost hopeless battle. Was there a time when I didn't worry about war when was that? Ringo thought as he saw Pegasus launch two quantum missiles into a group of crabs. He then used the power blasters in the suit shoulders to wipe out a whole group of Teknomen. Why are all of these guys landing? No! Ringo screamed after he finally realized what they had planned. "STAR!" He screamed over the radio, "They're going to blast the lab that's why they're all landing to shoot the Teknopower blasters at the lab and take Blade out then and there." "#$%*&" Was all he heard from her.

The blast was deafening as it fired. Thirteen Teknopower beams joined into one. The beam cut trough all that stood in its way. The beams suddenly stopped and bounced back towards their point of origin.

Cain Carter felt the power of the beams and cussed as he ran out to stop them. "Teknopower!" He screamed as turned into Teknoman Saber. Saber saw the beams coming and put all his power into his reflectors. He screamed in pain as the beams bounced away from him but the pain he felt was all too much.

Edward Lacly had seen battles before but nothing like this carnage. He was prepared just to hide under the body of one of the members of his squad and hope he wouldn't die. Then he saw his child who had not been born yet. He thought about that child in a Teknopod and when he saw the Chief about to get hit from behind he knew he had no choice. He opened fire with every last shot he had. All the while he sang the unofficial Space Knight theme song in his head and heart. Bold solder boy." He sang as the Teknoman fell but Edward received a spear in his back for the trouble. As he fell he prayed not for himself but for his child and for the man he knew only as Blade and he kept singing that song in his head until the darkness took him.

Saber flew at his targets with the fury that he had shown for the human race in the last war. He cut one in half and removed another's head in all of two seconds. He than activated his battle mode and cleared the field. As five Teknomen flew towards him. He merely punched one's head off, ripped the throat of another's out. The other three met his blade in a very personal way. Death had come to the Teknomen in the name that would someday in legend would be know as the new reaper. Once more blood rained down from the sky but very little of it was human. Those who still stood stayed out of his way. Death came in the form of the red and black Teknoman his every blow was one of cruelty and death while his brother's may have been ones of quickness Saber wanted them ,on a subconscious level, wanted them to suffer. He had gone form tormenter to the one who would be tormented and now they would have heck to pay. Saber unleashed his Teknopower Blasters at the Venemoids who had turned him into a monster. Suddenly he realized he was slowing down. He'd use too much power to reflect the blast and now he was paying for it. As one of the Teknomen can up to strike him form behind was suddenly struck down by a new force of on the field.

Blastor Blade ripped out of the lab and struck his attacker with such force that no one knew what had hit them. All of a sudden half the enemy was gone. The sight of a Blastor Teknoman sent awe into his human allies and fear into his enemies. This was the power that had fought Darkon and he was royally pissed. The Blastor power beams destroyed a large percent of the enemy forces. He saw that his brother was in trouble and stopped the attack with his Blastor Teknolance.

As the younger Teknomen cleared the atmosphere and saw that they were too late. The battle was over they had won but at a heavy cost. They saw Blade in his Blastor mode and were in awe. They had been tried, bleeding, and almost out of power when they had started for Earth but they had known that they had to reach the base, but now they laughed at themselves for doubting their leaders.

Captain Edward Lacly was carried to the lab by Blade himself where he was told he would be out of active duty for over a year being treated for all his wound. He smiled as Star told him the news that he had a baby boy waiting for him. She smiled when he asked for a desk job and gave him the promise that he be a great teacher for the new students at the base. He had shocked both Blade and Star what Blade's name was, and now he held little baby Ness Star Lacly in his arms. He smiled and new things would be okay as long as Earth's guarding stood firm.

The new Warlord smile as he watched what happened to those who failed him. He now understood why the council wanted Earth's Teknomen so bad. Well now I do have five little ones who are ready to wake up and ready to have some fun. He thought as tasted his takcora. (wine)
