Tekken Fan Fiction ❯ Even The Devil Cries ❯ Chapter 4
Chapter 4:
Kazuya pounded away at the punching bag, his muscles tightened at each retraction and screamed a fit of power as it connected to the leather encased sandbag once again. How long had he been there? The hours had seemed to fly by him. His body was worn out, stressed by all the training he had been going through that night. He would have collapsed then, exhausted, if his mind had not been filled with so much confusion and anger. His moment with Jun had not lasted long as something in the back of his head told him to get away from her. He closed his eyes as he remembered.
--
He had held her close to him. He could feel her breath against his chest. He was at peace, but something burned in the back of his mind. A whispering. It told him that she was only going to hurt him. That she was evil; working for Heihachi and trying to find his weakness. It screamed that no one could love a monster like him, let alone she. He believed it all as well. That was when he pushed her away from him. She had stumbled back in surprise, confusion swept over her face, maybe even hurt. His body had become stiff, his jaw was clenched shut, and his ever-menacing eyes glared at her. She could feel his evil power returning. It would have been folly for her to try anything else.
He had watched as her dark eyes looked at the ground sorrow filling them. Her slender arms had wrapped themselves around her body and a silent sigh had passed through her lips. She had shaken her head slightly, understanding that he had not yet been swayed. That's when she had looked up at him again.
"Kazuya," she had said, "you must let go."
She began to slip away, almost disappearing. I must let go, he had thought. Of what? His mind was racked with confusion, and quickly he had left.
--
Now here he was, taking his aggravations out on the punching bag. His fists flew out in rapid succession. His mind kicked ideas throughout his brain. He was sure he was going to go mad, rational collided with irrational, right collided with wrong, and reality collided with illusion. The thoughts rushed at him all at once, forcing him to experience greater uncertainty and more anger. His teeth were clenched shut and a low growl began to build up. His final thoughts of Jun and his moment together broke him down and he released a howl and kicked the punching bag. His force broke it from its very hinges sending it toward the wall. It shattered, leaving white dust in the air, and sand all over the floor. Kazuya stood there, breathing hard.
Clapping filled the room. "Perhaps Mishima blood does run through your veins," a low voice growled.
Kazuya's blood turned cold at the voice. He recognized it and his once calmed face turned into a sneer. He turned slightly, facing his enemy. His eyes were daggers of hate, and he continuously clenched and unclenched his hands. Heihachi stared at him in distracted amusement. He had never feared his son, and was not going to start now. He inspected the room, nodding his head toward what he approved of. Kazuya remained still, awaiting the answer to his father's presence.
"I see you have faired just fine during my absence," he hissed.
"Is there something you wanted?" Kazuya asked.
"You managed to somehow defeat me in the first tournament, Kazuya, almost destroying me. But look at you now. You've become me. You're even crueler than me, Kazuya."
"I am nothing like you. I detest you…"
"As I detest you. So tell me Kazuya, did you set up this tournament once you found out I was still alive?"
"I should have killed you with my own hands, instead of trusting that mountain," Kazuya replied coldly, venom of hatred dripping off each word.
"Yes, I suppose you should have, but you are weak like that Kazuya."
"I'm no weaker than you, Father."
"On the contrary, I would have easily killed you had I wanted to. You're no son of mine, Kazuya. Your blood may be the same as mine, but you lack the strength of it."
Kazuya glared at his father, his evil growing stronger every minute.
"I'd stay away from that woman, Kazuya. She may feel right, but she'll cause your defeat in the end. I'd ask that you'd finish her off yourself, but you probably lack the power to do even that," he snapped.
"Then again, I can always take care of her for you," he laughed.
Kazuya ran at his aging father with lightning speed, crushing the old man against the wall. He put his hand against Heihachi's throat, putting pressure on the small bones within his neck.
"Stay away from her," he said through gritted teeth.
Heihachi smiled. He quickly snapped his palms toward Kazuya's chest, forcing his son back many feet. Kazuya grabbed his burning chest and looked fiercely at his father. Heihachi gingerly touched his aching neck, and smiled at the displeased look his son was giving him.
"Thank you Kazuya. I at least know one of your weaknesses," he laughed. "You may at one point think she gives you power, but in the end, it'll be her that brings your demise."
Heihachi turned and walked out of the room, leaving an angry Kazuya alone in his thoughts.

Lee pressed himself tighter against the wall as he watched his father slip out of the room. He grinned mischievously, realizing that now his brother would be more than vulnerable. Anna should have no trouble, he thought. His eyes glinted at the thought of Anna, and he hurriedly made his way down the hall. It was time to negotiate with her.
He found her checking the security cameras. For one who was going to kill Kazuya, she was very good at making sure no one was to hurt him. Oh the irony, he grinned. He leaned against the wall quietly, watching her every move. He was never one to hurry things along. If she had heard him, she made no notion of it. Oh, she had definitely noticed me, he thought. And so he waited to be acknowledged.
"Aye, Mr. Chaolin, is there something ya needed?" her sultry voice asked.
He smiled, strolling up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Mmm…there are many things I need," he whispered.
Anna shifted uneasily in his grip. She escaped it and, once several feet away, turned and faced him. Her cherry lips glistened under the dim lightning. Her grin was very cheeky, playing with his very desires, but he could see apprehension within her eyes. She was having second thoughts. He began to circle around her, getting closer with each loop, like a predator to its prey. Her body quivered under his glare, but she held is gaze. She was a skilled veteran of Aikido and Bone martial arts; she did not need to fear Lee.
"Anna, how are you going to go about killing Kazuya?" he asked casually, as if it were nothing.
"I haven't put much thought into the plan, Lee. There are bigger complications for me," she replied.
"Oh, but you seem so certain the first time I asked you," he grinned, seeing her cheeks turn red.
"Me thoughts weren't all there. It's not as easy as I first planned."
"Oh, and why is that?"
"Me sister is in the tournament. She's trying to kill Kazuya."
"And? Let her. It'll save you from the trouble."
Anna scoffed. "I'll be damned before I let that wench make me look like I couldn't handle me job!"
"Sibling rivalry…how exciting," he laughed. "So, this means you won't have any part?"
"Not until I finish me score with me sister!"
"I think your priorities are a little mixed up, Anna."
"Mr. Chaolin, your quest for power can wait. And if it can't, you can find yourself a new killer, aye," Anna snorted, intensely aggravated with him.
He nodded, and with the swiftness of the wind, he forced her against the wall. He sighed lightly, and stroked her neck.
"My dear Anna, do not cross me. I am for more dangerous than you seem to think."
He chuckled lightly, releasing his grip slightly. "Trust me Anna. You do want this."
He lowered his hand to her right breast, gently massaging it with his hand, feeling the nub harden beneath her dress. She gasped at his touch. He slowly lowered his gentle caresses down her stomach and her thigh. Seeking entry under the slit of her dress, his hand crept toward her inner thigh, gently stroking the smooth skin. Anna's breathing picked up, and she knew that if he pressed her, she'd agree to it all over again.
"Well, Anna?"
She opened her mouth to speak, but the sudden sound of someone's footsteps stopped her. Lee pushed against her, concealing both of them in the shadows. He continued his slow torture, forcefully rubbing between her legs. He watched the discomfort in her face as she tried to remain quiet and in control. It's no use Anna, he thought. He forced his lips upon hers, sucking eagerly on her tongue as two young men passed into view. Once they were out of sight Lee released Anna and stepped into the light. He looked over at Anna, who had composed herself by then. They stared at one another briefly before Anna finally gave in.
"If you'll excuse me, Lee. I've got much more work to do."
With that, she left. Lee huffed at her. Silly girl, he thought. So, Anna's sister was in the tournament. Perhaps she could be swayed more easily than Anna. With that, he set off on his search.

Lee was quick to find the notorious Nina Williams. He had found her to be exactly the same as Anna. They both played with fire and enjoyed the occasional burn. Nina paid little mind to him, but her senses were keen to watch him in case he planned to harm her. Women like that always excited him. It would be a challenge to get an upper hand. He watched her for a moment, contemplating how to go about persuading her. If she truly was anything like Anna, it'd be yet another problem to sway her.
Nina felt his intense stares and soon became uncomfortable. She was shocked at her own lack of ease; she was never one to show fear or uneasiness. Her eyes flickered at him for a moment before continuing her exploration of the walls. Why was he looking at her like that? He had a deep mischievous grin and his eyes twinkled, as if he were plotting something. She huffed loudly, finally fed up with him.
"Is there something I can help ya wit mate?" she asked, clearly annoyed.
"As a matter of fact, there is."
"Aye, and what would that be?"
"I'm sure you're familiar with Kazuya Mishima, yes?"
"Aye, something like that."
"Then you must know of Anna Williams as well."
Nina's jaw became taut. Her eyes squinted slightly at the shrewd name. She slightly gritted her teeth together.
"And what of her?"
"Wouldn't you like a way to kill two birds with one stone?"
"I don't understand?"
"It's simple. You can have your battle with Anna, and then kill Kazuya afterward. I can set it up. I can make it work."
"Hm…and what's in it for ya?"
"The simple takeover of Mishima Corporations. Easy."
"How do ya know me sister?"
"The same way I'm going to know you," he winked at her.
She cocked her hips to the side, unsure of how to take his comment.
"Come with me Nina. We can explore our options easy, and maybe form a pact, yes?"
Nina took a minute to think about what he said. His reply could be taken in many terms. Perhaps it would be worth it though. She nodded and followed him down the halls. Lee smiled. Yet another long night in his chamber. She truly was a Williams.

Jun stared at herself in the mirror. She couldn't shake the guilt that somehow she had scared him. What had she done? It shocked her that she felt this much for a man she had only met, and in the beginning despised. She drew a hand through her short tresses and sighed. Did she love him? Was it just an infatuation? Were they kindred spirits? She felt the confusion swarm her head. One thing she knew for sure…
…All this would end in heartache.
