Prologue

Our story is the true account of what happened during those fatal years in Hyrule. We're here to recount what our dear friends at Nintendoâ„¢ overlooked… the two unsung heroes. The first was Link's childhood friend Joey, a 20 year old Hyrulian and the second… well, she'll come later. Our story begins shortly after Joey and Link collect the three jewels, after a brief fight over whether to keep them or give them to Princess Zelda our heroes set out for Hyrule castle. After their scary meeting with Ganondorf and Link's recovery of the Ocarina of Time, they set out for the Temple of Time. As Link sets his hand on the hilt of the Master sword, maniacal laughter is heard. Our young hero spins around to find the black king Ganondorf at the entrance to the sacred realm. Joey heroically fights off Ganondorf as the blue aura surrounds Link. Suddenly a strong and desperate blow from Ganondorf sends Joey stumbling into the aura…
