Based on the infamous love triangle between Elena, Stefan and Damon from The Vampire Diaries novels. When I mention "You" I am referring to Elena. The poem however, is open to interpretation. :)

Indubitably, you are tugged and pulled in one direction.
In white-heat he holds you, a protection laced in gold.
His kisses are starlight and they turn your lips up in endless euphoria.
Inevitably, you are wrenched from your world of starshine and purity.
Into the orbit of passion, a passion that sears through your core, blinding you.
All sounds are echoes in your head, for a dark flame coats you.
It coats your skin, your face, and your eyes.
All you can see, is the black black of space's quintessence.
The kiss from a rose coats your features in an aroma you can't shake.
The reflection shows Lapiz Lazuli, a rare stone, Emerald, the sunlight between the leaves
And the velvet afterglow of space
Which will it be...who will it be, in this duality?
