As Kyohei slept, he had fitful dreams of what life could be like with Sunako. He could see a life with her, and he knew that life would never be boring with her. From tomorrow until the day he died, he looked forward to time with her. His psyche had identified her as the one who would complete him, and was showing him what he could be in his future.
Dating might not be that much different, though they could be freer with their words and actions. They have been seen on the streets and have been gawked at. Now, there would be a reason to look! Heh! Good thing she's tough too! A beat down between her and some of the fan girls would be fun to watch. I love the cat fights she's gotten into, the first one I saw her in was over me. Now, she'll have a valid reason to open up her special can of whoop-ass.
The living conditions may or may not change though. Auntie has been more than eager, almost too eager for Sunako and I to spend more “intimate” time together. The guys would be downright rotten to deal with. Yuki would be the easist to deal with because he's so in touch with emotions and would try his best to consider everyone's feelings. Ranmaru would be hellish! The stunts he's done in the past makes me afraid of the crap he'd pull now. Takenaga would not be affected either way, but would give support in his own way.
Should the relationship progress, the wedding would be interesting. For the Shinto ceremony, should she do it, she would be downright beautiful. The stark white kimono with her raven locks...OH BOY! I'm almost afraid of what her Kaiken,* would look like though. With a Western ceremony, she would not be a traditional bride. She would probably have a gown like that time she cosplayed like an evil countess. Her colors would most likely be black, midnight blue, and blood red. What would she have me wear? The Shinto one is easy of course, I'm sure she'd be happy with all the black. I don't know if I'd want my haori to have my family crest though. My family has basically washed their hands of me. As far as I know, there are no males in the Nakahara family and I have an older brother so, perhaps I can be adopted into the Nakahara clan by marriage. * Actually, that would be a good thing. Sunako is big on not changing for anyone and the whole 'Takano Kyohei' thing has a lot tied to it. I would not mind leaving that identity behind. Nakahara Kyohei...not too bad.
The wedding night would prove to be interesting, if we hold out that long. If I haven't been too badly injured and can consumate our love. I can imagine Sunako as an adventurous and wild lover. She had shown expertise in some really sadistic things. Me, I'm used to being tied up and such. She's almost always been the one to free me too. I'm sure all this would translate into our sex life. I'll bet from the first time on she'll be a tigress! I wonder who will come onto whom?
I could be rather passionate given the right stimulus. Sunako is rather stimulating! I could see myself finally giving into what I've wanted to do for such a long time. The thought of touching her lilly-white flesh gives me goosebumps! The fact that I'm certain to be her first, has an allure as well. I look forward to teaching her the joys of carnal pleasure, and seeing her face as she climaxes for the first time. I'm sure she could do some damage on me too. I'll bet she's a biter! I look forward to it!
As time wears on, kids may or may not come. I wonder what they'd be like? Would they have her her looks or mine, or would they truly be a combination of fire and ice? With myself being the fire and Sunako, the Ice Maiden. Given the who the parents are, I see our hands full. They would be beautiful children, of course, but if they have either of our attitudes we'd be in trouble. Since they would be part of both of us, there's the chance of both attitudes in one. However, this is a pleasant dream, not a nightmare...
He awoke with a smile. He knew what he had to do. He would have to get Sunako to see things as he did. He had seen a glimpse of what could be, and he wanted to attain it for real. He knew that she had been hurt and was afraid. He would have to cure her of her fear first. He had no idea how to do that. He was a man of action;act first and evaluate later. This would require finesse.
Meanwhile, Sunako was having her own dream. It was also fitful and vivid. She was in a place surrounded by her manikins and she was being judged by them. Hiroshi was the head judge.
“Look at yourself!” Hiroshi began, “Do you call yourself a creature of Dark? Why are you with that dazzling creature? Why are you defending him? You got yourself hurt because of him! For what? What good does it do? He's only going tear your heart in two! Don't get too close! Remember what you were thinking about? You know the moth, a dark creature, being drawn to the light. What happens when the moth reaches the light? It burns up, that's what happens. Poof! And no more! That's what will happen if you continue to play with fire.
Stay with us, we are your true friends. We will never leave you. We will never do or say mean things to you.”
She turned on them. “Those last comments are so true! I know you can't leave me, you depend on me to get around. You can't say or do anything because you aren't real.
The day I was hurt, I found Hiroshi discarded the way I felt discarded. I withdrew into a fantasy life where I did not have to deal with my peers. No one cared about me, so I cared about no one.
When Auntie forced me to live with the dazzling creatures, I thought she was sentencing me to a slow death. What would people of that caliber want with me? I have since learned that everyone is the same underneath.. I learned that from you guys. You symbolize people at their most basic- all the rest is wrapping. Everyone is wrapped differently. It takes effort to see the person under the wrapping. I have found true friends with my roomates and maybe more with Kyohei.”
“If you are sure, we will give you our blessing” intoned Hiroshi, “But never forget the lessons you have learned..
In the morning, Sunako she was thinking about how she might go about unwrapping Kyohei.
A small dagger that a bride traditionally carries.
In the case there are no sons in a family, a male heir can be adopted by marriage into the family.
