* Ello everyone,here's my second installment of my x fic. We're forwarding 7 years, to the beginning of Tokyo Babylon. Subaru and Hokuto are 16, and Seishirou is 25. Hope you enjoy!!

The Rainbow Bridge

"We have a date with destiny...... destiny.......... destiny!" the young boy howled into the wind.

Subaru then sprang up out of his fitful dream.

"Why did I just dream about that? It was so long ago! Why would I remember that now?" Subaru whispered out loud.

He then laid back down in his comfortable bed. All he could think about was that boy and that day so long ago. He then drifted back into his fitful dreams again.

"SUBARU! GET UP NOW!!!!! We have to go to the market!!!" Hokuto yelled at her twin. She then proceeded to shake him back and forth.

Subaru partially lifted his left eye to see his sister standing over him, in quite a rage.

"Fine then if you won't get up, I'll dress you my self!" she said as she flipped him onto his back. She then grabbed him by his superman boxer shorts, and began to pull them down.

"STOP! I can dress myself you FROOT LOOP!" Subaru screamed ,as he grabbed his shorts and pulled them back up. He then blushed an intense red.

"I knew that would get you up Su-chan! He he!" Hokuto said with a devilish smirk.

"Pushy!" Subaru mumbled under his breath.

"WHAT WAS THAT!?!???" Hokuto screeched.

"Nothing." Subaru said in a defeated tone.

"Oh, that reminds me...... I bought you some new clothes Su-chan! Now that we live in the city, you have to be fashionable!" she said in a cheerful manner.

She pulled out several bags filled to the brim with cloths. He took the cloths out of the bag, and inspected them. He pulled out several tight black bodysuits, a couple of trench coats, several pieces of large gaudy jewelry, and what Subaru could only describe as a "collection of Boy George hats".

"Oh, thanks Hokuto-chan!" Subaru said.

"You like them Su-chan?" Hokuto asked.

"Yeah " he said half heartedly . He didn't have the heart to tell her the truth, because he knew it would break his sister's gentle heart.

"Well try them on for me silly!" she said. He was then forced to put on a fashion show for Hokuto. She made him try on every possible outfit and made him try them re try on some to see all the mixing and matching possibilities. She also held up signs of approval, and disapproval.

She finally allowed him to get dressed, so they could leave. He chose to wear a black body suit, with an orange trench coat, and topped it off with a hat with orange velvet trim.

"God, I'm going to look like a freak! Everyone's going to stare at me," he thought as he walked into the living room.

"Oh Su-chan you look so adorable!!!!!" Hokuto said in delight.

He just nodded as she took him by the arm, and pulled him out of the apartment to head to market. Subaru then noticed Hokuto's outfit for the first time. She had on a black dress that was adorned with tiny bells on strings. And it was topped off with cat ears that had bells on it as well.

"Um. Hokuto, why are you wearing a cat outfit?" Subaru asked.

"What you don't like? It's all the rage in London," Hokuto replied.

"Oh no, it looks great on you!'" he said with fake enthusiasm.

They then headed for the market. Hokuto stopped at every shop, from antique shops to clothing stores. She bought them some more furniture to fill there new apartment, and to Subaru's dismay she also bought them both more clothes.

As they were passing a huge crowd of people, one of them caught Subaru's attention. Subaru couldn't help but stare at a man that was standing in front of an animal clinic. He had a strange wave pass through him. He felt as if he knew this person from somewhere.

The man had chocolate brown hair with flecks of gold through out. He had dark brown limpid eyes, that you could almost say displayed a image of sadness. The man was smartly dressed in a light pink, button down cotton shirt that enhanced the figure of his etched chest. He wore a white jacket over his shirt that partially covered his black slacks. He had a medium build, yet Subaru couldn't help but think he had a gentle manner about him.

And as they walked past him, the man stared directly into Subaru's eyes. Then Subaru noticed he smelled like a thousand cherry blossoms.

"Why do I feel like I know you?" Subaru whispered out loud.

"Know who?" Hokuto said.

"That guy over there," he said as they spun around. But he had already disappeared.

"Who? I don't see anyone," she said.

"Hey Hokuto, wait here for a second. I'll meet you back here in a few minutes," Subaru said as he dashed off in the opposite direction.

Hokuto proceeded to go on with her shopping. She was walking by an alley way when she heard a strange noise.

"Who's there?" she yelled.

"Help! Oh, god, help me! I'm bleeding! Oh, god I'm dying!" said a figure, as they slumped over a garbage can.

"How can I help you? Do you need an ambulance?" she asked as she walked over to the man.

"No, I don't need any thing but your money girly!" he said as he lunged towards here and pinned her to the wall.

"Oh my god! Help!" she screamed.

"No ones going to hear you and if you don't shut up I'll have to hurt you some thing fierce! But then again, scream all you like. I like SCREAMERS!" He said as he put a knife to her throat.

"Oh, god why did Subaru have to go off at a time like this. Where is he when I need him the most?" she thought to herself. Then she heard a faint, serene melody. And a blizzard of cherry blossoms surrounded them. Then a male came out of the shadows.

"I'm sorry but I can't allow you to do this," he said.

Hokuto fainted from fright and the attacker let her fall to the ground. The attacker then lunged at the mysterious man and slashed open his shirt to reveal his beautifully etched chest.

"That was my favorite pink shirt, you WILL PAY FOR THAT!" he said as a sadistic look came across his face.

He then touched the attacker and he turned into a million cherry blossoms. "She is a part of the future and I can not allow her to be harmed yet," he said.

Then Hokuto came to. "Oh, my god what happened? Where's the burglar? Are you all right? Your bleeding! Oh, my god!" she said.

"He is gone miss. You don't have to worry."

"How can I ever repay you?"

"You will repay me in the future," he said as he turned around and began to walk away.

"Can I at least know your name?" Hokuto asked.

"Yes, it is Seishirou Sakurazuka," he said. He then disappeared down the alley way.

Subaru came running up, beet red and out of breath. "Hey, where were you? I've be looking all over," he proclaimed.

Hokuto then promptly hit him over the head with her bags.

"What in the hell was that for!" Subaru asked.

"It was because you didn't protect me!" she said as she sauntered off leaving Subaru in a confused daze.

"What happened? What did I do?" he yelled as he tried to chase after her.

"Are you still mad?" Subaru asked.

Hokuto then shot him a nasty glare.

"But Hokuto, it was a week ago!! And I swear I didn't know you were going to be attacked, how could I have? I'm so sorry!" Subaru pleaded.

"Uh!" Hokuto grunted.

'Wow. She has never been this angry with me! Wonder if she will ever forgive me?' Subaru asked himself. "Come on Hokuto, you know I'd do anything for you to forgive me," he said.

"Anything?" she asked.

"Anything!" Subaru said.

"Ok! I'll be back in a bit!" she yelled as she dashed out the door.

"Huh? Wonder what got into her?"

He then decided to jump into the shower. He turned the water knobs to hot and started lathering soap all over his body. The warm water trickled all over his body and relaxed his muscles. He let out a relaxing sigh and stretched his body so the spray of the water would massage him. He was so relaxed that he forgot all his troubles for a few minutes. He then decided to get out so he wrapped a towel around his waist. Little drops a water still clung to his beautiful chest as he walked out of the bathroom.

"Subaru I'm home" Hokuto yelled.

Subaru then walked out in the living room to greet her. He then noticed she wasn't alone. She had the pink shirt man from the market with her!

"Oh my god! It's you" he said.

"Who are you talking about Su-chan? You mean Seishirou? How do you know him?" she asked.

"Well I'm not quite sure," he said as he said as he scratched his head in puzzlement. He then accidentally let his towel go and it slipped to the floor indecently exposing himself to them.

"Well Subaru, how nice of you to expose your self for me. This will be quite the adventure," Seishirou said.

"What do you mean `adventure'?" Subaru asked.

"Well......you see...I invited Seishirou to live with us! We have such a big apartment. And he was living in his place of work, an animal clinic! And you said ANYTHING SU-CHAN!"
she said.

"Well if it will make you happy. Then ok."

" Mr. Seishirou, I have a question. Do we know each other?" Subaru asked.

"No. What an impertinent question," he said with a scowl.

"Now boys behave! We are all a happy family now!' Hokuto said.

Subaru then went to his room. `Who is this Seishirou? And why do I feel like I know him?' he asked himself.
