Okay, I've heard that there are some problems with the names, so, I did some research. Well, at the 4Kids website, they gave the English name of the monkey Mew-Mew, Pudding in Japanese, as Kiki, not Kikki. The Imperial Moon website on MSN gave the name of the Sailor Mars as Rei, not Ray nor Raye, and Sailor Mercury as Ami, not Amy, but I did find that Sailor Uranus is indeed Amara, not Amarah, so, I'm making these changes to the names:

Here are the changes I've made to the character names and I'm sorry for any and all mistakes to their names. This is my first try at a fanfiction beyond what I've been doing. And remember, this story takes place around two years after the battle with Deep Blue and just after the movie Sailor Moon Super S: Black Dream Hole

Recap: After the Mew-Mew team gained its final member, Renee, Wesley and Elliott had found a powerful jewel known as the `Soul of the Kitsune' and found that they can create a very powerful sixth Mew-Mew with it and fox DNA, Red Data foxes that is. On the meanwhile, a good friend of Zoey's is coming to visit her on the job at Café Mew-Mew. That friend is none other than Serena Tsukino, who, in two years time, will become Sailor Moon. However, at this time, Serena is a normal pre-teen girl, by when she gets to Café Mew-Mew, Serena starting hearing a mysterious voice calling to her, telepathically. `Hearing' the `voice' coming from the Employee Only area of the café, Serena, after meeting Zoey's friends and fellow Mew-Mew team members, even though Serena doesn't know it, uses an excuse for a part-time job to get into the Employees Only area, where she runs into the room with the jewel, which helps transforms Serena into the sixth Mew-Mew, a fox Mew-Mew in fact! Soon after, with Elliott, Wesley, and the Mew-Mew team `in attendance', Lady Inari, all mother of all Kitsune, the mythical fox spirits of Japan, tells of Serena's great destiny and a great evil coming in the future. Soon after, Lady Inari vanishes, Serena faints, and returns to her human form. Elliott, Wesley, and the girls take Serena to get some rest, not knowing how great Serena's future destiny will be. Now, two years after the final battle with Deep Blue, we head to Serena's `current' home in the Kanto district and join our moon princess, now, Sailor Moon, leader of the Sailor Scouts. . .

 

Chapter 1: Old Past Returns and New Enemies

 

(Serena's Home; Kanto District of Tokyo; Two Weeks after the battle with the Black Dream Hole)

 

We find our blonde haired Princess of the Moon, Serena, leaning at the window of her home in Kanto. She is looking at a Mew-Mew power pendant, her pendant when she was part of her best friend, Zoey's team, in Edo District. Around two years ago, after Lady Inari appeared to her in Café Mew-Mew, Serena woke up to learn about becoming the sixth member of the Tokyo Mew-Mew, who, like many others, saw the girls on television. Serena is shocked beyond belief, but unlike she is acting today, she handled it. Expect that it annoyed her like hell with her fox-ears and tails coming out whenever she gets excited or scared. Serena learned to handle her fox-like agility, which rivals Zoey's cat-like agility, fox-like super-speed, and fox-like acute hearing, which allowed Serena to hear from great distances. However, today, Serena's Mew-Mew powers are gone, she had sacrificed them for a friend. During the battle with Deep Blue, who was a part of Mark, Zoey's boyfriend, Zoey sacrificed her powers and life-force to make sure that Mark lived. When the Mew-Mews found Mark and Zoey, Zoey, as Mew Zoey, was barely alive and Serena, as Mew Serena, sacrificed her powers to revive Zoey as well as unexpectedly maintain her powers with the other Mew-Mews. In the aftermath, they found that Serena's powers were only gone, temporary, and they would take three years, at least, to restore themselves to the fullest and permanently. But one week after the final battle, Serena's dad got another promotion and her family moved back to the Kanto District, where around two years later, Luna came to Serena and her journey as Sailor Moon began, Serena's second super-heroine `life'. Now, it has been a few weeks since the whole `Black Dream Hole' battle and Ami found out that now, Sailor Moon and Sailor Mini-Moon can summon the moon kield scopes without Pegasus, who has returned with the dream crystal back to his world, thanks to the scouts' temporary transfer of their powers and Sailor Moon transferring her energies to Mini-Moon to revive her. This means that both Sailor Moon and Sailor Mini-Moon can use the Moon Gorgeous Meditation attack.

 

Now, we find Serena looking at her `old' Mew-Mew power pendant and then Luna's voice calls out, “Serena, what are you doing?!” Hearing Luna's voice, Serena quickly panics, quickly pockets her `old' Mew-Mew power pendant, and turns to the face her Lunarian cat-guardian, Luna. Luna sighs and asks Serena, “Daydreaming, again, are we?”

 

Serena yells back, indignity, “No, I was. . . just in deep thought that's all!”

 

Luna then tells Serena, “Serena, while you were thinking, Rini is getting ready to go to our meeting.”

 

Serena asks, confused, “Meeting?”

 

Luna sigh and tells Serena, “The meeting in the park with all of the other scouts, even Amara, Michelle, and Trista, to discuss what we could face next after that mess with the Black Dream Hole. It is set for noon and now, it is 11:30.”

 

Serena screams out, worriedly, “Oh no! I'm going to be late!”

 

Luna tells Serena, “Better hurry and get dressed.

 

Serena nods her head and states, “Right!” Serena then hurrying gathers her clothes as Luna walks off to join Rini, downstairs. Serena quickly puts on a white shirt, yellow jacket, black short shorts that only go one-eighth to her kneecaps, white stockings that go up to her kneecaps, and black shoes with a blue handbag containing her disguise wand, which she never used in a LONG time, sailor communication watch, and all her `essentials'. Serena then looks at her Mew-Mew pendant and thinks, “Man! I really miss Zoey and the other Mew-Mews! With them, I didn't have to act like such a crybaby loser and cut loose at any opponent that gets me mad. I don't like to fight, but doesn't mean I'm not a good fighter! Among the Mew-Mews, I was one of the best fighters of my `old' team! Maybe, I should finally stop my act and acting like my real self, but Darien-chan only knows me as ditzy, dummy, but with a strong and pure heart, which is what I truly have. What if Darien doesn't like the `real me'?! I don't know. . .” Serena then realizes that she is going to be late and runs off to meet Rini and Luna at the door. During her time with the Mew-Mews, Serena was one of their best fighters, but she is the way that she is because she decided to hide herself so no one would figure out that was and, when her powers return, still is a Mew-Mew, so, she acts like the ditzy, dummy, and crybaby that we know her, but she a lot more mature, smarter, and more of a fighter than the `new friends', the Sailor Scouts, Luna, Atriums, or even her future daughter, Rini/Mini-Moon and beloved boyfriend/future husband in Crystal Tokyo, Darien, know about. However, there are other and more deeper reasons that Serena hid herself, but that will be known later.

 

When Serena gets downstairs, Rini, also known as Sailor Mini-Moon, scolds Serena with, “Where were you, Serena?! We are going to be late!”

 

Serena tells Rini, in annoyed tone, “Don't rush me, Rini! I know that, you little brat!” They growled at each other and all three of them head out the door and into the streets.

 

(In the streets of Tokyo City; Kanto District; A short time later)

 

We find Rini, Luna, and Serena rushing down the street with Serena lagging behind Rini and Luna.

 

Rini yells at Serena, “Hey, hurry up, Serena! We don't have all day!”

 

Serena roars at Rini, really annoyed, “Why don't you. . .?!” But before Serena could finish her sentence, she `senses' something and stops in the middle of the street, while everyone is crossing. Serena then says in her own mind, “What was that feeling?! I thought that I `sensed' something like with my `old' power back when I was with the Mew-Mews! But that's impossible, Elliott said that my powers would take three years to return and it only has been two! It must be my imagination!” However, while Serena was thinking, the `walking light' changed from green to red and then Serena hears a loud horn coming from her right! Serena then gasps to see a large bus heading straight for her!

 

Rini and Luna also see this and Rini yells, worriedly, “Serena, what are you doing?! Get out of the way!” As the bus neared her, Serena, on pure instinct, jumps into the air! But Serena jumps thirty feet into the air, does three mid-air back flips, and lands on the other side of the street with both feet on the ground, perfectly.

 

Serena says, pretty amazed, “Wow. I'm okay.” Serena then notices that everyone around her, including Rini and Luna, were looking at her with wide-eyes, shocked beyond belief that she did what she just did. Serena then asks, a bit confused and nervous, “Why is everyone looking at me like that?”

 

Rini then grabs Serena's hand and yells out, “Come on!” Rini then begins to pull Serena into a nearby alleyway with Luna following our two pigtailed girls.

 

Serena releases from Rini's grip with ease and exclaims, “What was that for?!”

 

Luna then tells Serena, “Serena, you didn't notice that you jumped thirty feet into the air, deep three mid-air backwards barrel rolls, and landed on the ground on your two feet, perfectly?!”

 

Serena's eyes became wide-eyed and she exclaims, “What?! I did that!”

 

Rini tells Serena, “No kidding, Serena! I saw you with Serena! You had performed like you were some super-gymnast or something! Now, spill, how did you do that?!” Serena became really nervous, not knowing what kind of excuse to create to get her out of this situation.

 

Serena then exclaims, “Hey, aren't we going to be late in meeting the other scouts and Darien in the park?!”

 

Rini then yells out, “Oh, man! You're right, Serena! Move your tail! But I want some answers on those acrobatics after we're done!” Rini, Luna, and Serena started to run towards the park once more.

 

Serena mentally takes a deep breath and thinks, “Whew! That was close! Okay, the only way that I can do what Luna and Rini told me that I did to get out of the way of that bus was with my secret Mew-Mew power, my fox agility, but they shouldn't be back, yet! But then again, Elliott always seemed to leave out things that `slipped his mind'. Why does a person so good looking as him have to be a pain in the ass? I better call Zoey's home and see if she is back from England with her boyfriend Mark. I'm going to have a `little talk' with Elliott.” Meanwhile, what Serena, Rini, and Luna didn't know is that they were being watched by two figures on a nearby rooftop.

 

The first figure says, in a child like male tone, “So, that's her, the Moon Princess that carries the power of the jewel within her body?”

 

The second figure says, in a deep mature and dark male tone, “Yes, Serena Tsukino, also known as Sailor Moon, Princess Serena of the Moon Kingdom, and Neo-Queen Serenity of Crystal Tokyo in the future of Earth that we had seen through our ESP. With her is Luna, her Lunarian talking guardian cat, and Rini, Sailor Mini-Moon, Serena's future daughter. Sailor Moon holds the power of the Soul of the Kitsune deep within her body which makes her the `chosen one' and the greatest threat to our plans. Pity that she has to die, through, Happy Child, Serena has this aura around her that makes her more unique than the rest of. . . humanity.”

 

The first figure, Happy Child, tells the second figure, “Duke, you must be sensing her Mew-Mew powers returning, which is one year ahead of schedule, but then again, the `Soul of the Kitsune' and her Imperial Silver Crystal might have increased the speed of her `old' power's recovery.”

 

Duke tells Happy Child, “No, it isn't her powers. Something about her makes her a true work of beauty. . . something inside of her heart and soul that makes her more complex and unique that the rest of hated humanity.”

 

Happy Child tells Duke, “If she is so much a distraction, then you must allow me the privilege of taking her out. You know that our mission can't succeed without her death and the capture of the other five Tokyo Mew-Mews.”

 

Duke tells Happy Child, in a calm tone, “Do as you please and wish with her, Happy Child.” The first figure, Happy Child, then vanishes from sight. However, Duke thinks to himself, “However, I don't think that you will succeed through. A fox is a very crafty and sly creature and has his or, in this case, her ways of getting out of even the most hopeless situations! However, I might be able to observe how you fare against our little fox and see her in action!” The second figure, Duke, then vanishes through some kind of teleportation.

 

(Within Kanto Park; Around the start of noontime)

 

In the middle of the park, we find Rei, Ami, Mina, Lita, Trista, Amara, Michelle, Atriums, and Darien waiting for Serena, Rini, and Luna to arrive. While Rei is looking at her watch, they hear someone coming and look to the source of the footstep to see our three in question running up to their friends.

 

When they come up to their friends, Serena tells them, “Sorry that we are late, everyone.”

 

Rini then says, “Yeah, Serena was holding us up.”

 

Serena yells at Rini, indignity, “Hey!”

 

Ami then tells the three of them, “Actually, all three just made it on time.”

 

Serena, Rini, and Luna exclaim, surprised, “Huh?”

 

Rei tells them, “Personally, I'm surprised too, knowing Serena and all, but all of you have made it exactly at noon right on the button. . . barely I might add.”

 

Atriums then says, “Well, now, that everyone is here, we can get the meeting started.”

 

Serena then says, “Personally, I don't get it. After Badiyanu and that whole `Black Dream Hole' stuff, I thought that we were done fighting. Pegasus has left for his world and you know who is sealed away forever in her mirror.”

 

Trista then says, “This is true, Princess Serena, but lately, I have felt `disturbances' in the timeline. I'm not sure, but I feel that there is another battle we must face before the future of Crystal Tokyo and Rini's future is made safe.”

 

Everyone is surprised by Trista's/Sailor Plato's `admission' and Michelle asks Amara, “Amara, have you been `sensing' anything in the area lately?”

 

Amara shakes her head and says, “I'm not sure, but I do have a bad feeling that there is something `evil' in this area.”

 

But then a voice calls out, “Evil? Now, I'm insulted by that Sailor Uranus!”

 

All of the scouts gasp when they hear that voice and Lita exclaims, “Who said that?!”

 

The voice calls again, “I did! Of course!” When everyone looks to the source of the voice, they are flabbergasted to see a kid, no older than 10, wearing clothing and a hat, like rich or royalty would wear, floating in the air with a metal ring surrounding his body. The `child' says, in the same voice as before, “Greeting Sailor Scouts! I am known as Happy Child of the War Rose Knights!”

 

Amara then roars out at Happy Child, “You are just a kid! How do you know about us?!”

 

Happy Child then smiles and tells Amara, “Oh, I know everything about you. You are Amara, Sailor Saturn, the dark blue flowing hair 16 year old is Michelle, Sailor Neptune, the black haired woman is Trista, Sailor Plato, Guardian of the Gates of Time and the scout that maintains the balance and stability of time, the other younger blue haired girl is Ami, Sailor Mercury, the young lady with the longer flowing black hair is Rei, Sailor Mars, the girl with flowing blond hair is Mina, Sailor Venus, the brown haired lady is Lita, Sailor Jupiter, the young man is Darien, boyfriend to Serena Tsukino and Tuxedo Mask, and finally, we have our `meatball' blond, Serena Tsukino, herself, Sailor Moon, leader of the Sailor Scouts and the last Princess of the Moon Kingdom.”

 

The scouts gasp in shock and horror and Ami exclaims, “This `child' does know everything about us!”

 

Rini exclaims, “No way!”

 

Happy Child then tells Rini, “Oh, really, Rini, Sailor Mini-Moon, and the future daughter of Princess Serena and Prince Darien, when they rule as King and Queen of Crystal Tokyo in the thirtieth century!” The scouts were totally stunned at what they just heard come from Happy Child's mouth.

 

Serena then yells at Happy Child, “Hey, how did you know that?! Are you some villain from the future?!”

 

Happy Child tells Serena, “Oh, I can assure you that my `associates' are from this century and that we are not aliens.”

 

Amara then asks, very suspicious, “Then you are human?”

 

Happy Child exclaims, scoffing, “Ha! Don't compare us to the rest of pathetic humanity, they are nothing compared to us. We are a new breed of humans. We have given ourselves the classification of metahumans, the next evolution in humanity.”

 

Rei then asks, “Metahumans?!”

 

Happy Child then states, “We are very much different from other humans, we are humans born with special powers and extra-ordinary intelligence. However, we are regretted by human society and thrown out to be abandoned. We didn't know why we were thrown out, but then we figured out why: They were afraid of us. They knew that we would exceed all of humanity and they threw us away like trash! Now, we know that humanity is unworthy of this planet Earth. Even as we speak, they are destroying it with chemicals, poisons, and outright destruction! We figured out that we were given these powers because we were chosen.”

 

Michelle then asks, “What do you mean by `chosen'?”

 

Happy Child then declares, “We were chosen to get rid of the impurities that poison the planet and rebuild into a true utopian Shangri-La! The only way to do that is the total destruction of the human race, the poison of Planet Earth, the true `evil ones' in this world of ours! Humanity have proven unworthy of the planet that they live and must be eliminated! We were given these powers from Mother Earth, herself, to be the instruments of her will and humanities final days have begun!”

 

All of the scouts and Darien were shocked by Happy Child's `declaration' and Lita roars out, angrily, “Not if we have anything to say about it!”

 

Happy Child laughs and yells out, “You pathetic scouts don't have a prayer against us! None of you have the power to stop us. . . expect for one of you. There is one among you that carries the power to stop all of us.” Happy Child then points to Serena and says, “And that person is you, Princess Serena, Sailor Moon. Within you is the power to defeat us and I don't mean your Imperial Silver Crystal, my dear.”

 

Serena asks, nervously, “What are you talking about?!”

 

Happy Child takes a deep breath and tells Serena, “Why don't you drop you little act? You know exactly what we are talking about. We know everything about you. Everything, my dear, even the secrets you keep from even your beloved Darien.”

 

Darien then asks Serena, “Serena, what is he talking about? What `secrets'?”

 

Serena replies, trying not to sound ULTRA-nervous, “Darien-chan, I don't what he is talking about.” Meanwhile, Serena is thinking to herself, “I don't know how, but he knows everything about me! He does about the power that I have within my body, but why would the `Soul of the Kitsune' be such a great threat to all of them?! I don't get how this `kid' knows about every detail of my life!”

 

Mina then yells at Happy Child, “Hey, I don't know what you think you know about Serena, but you must know that we are going to stop you!”

 

Happy Child then declares, “Transform into her sailor forms and attack me then. . . if you dare!”

 

Serena yells out, “Fine! Ready, scouts?!”

 

“Yeah!” Ami, Rei, Mina, and Lita respond in unison.

 

“Mercury Crystal Power!” Ami calls out, using her transformation wand to turn into Super Sailor Mercury.

 

“Mars Crystal Power!” Rei yells out, using her sailor transformation wand to turn into Super Sailor Mars.

 

“Jupiter Crystal Power!” Lita cries out, using her sailor transformation wand to turn into Super Sailor Jupiter.

 

“Venus Crystal Power!” Mina yells out, transforming into Super Sailor Venus, via, her sailor transformation wand.

 

“Uranus Planet Power!” Amara calls out, using her wand to transform into Sailor Uranus.

 

“Neptune Planet Power!” Michelle cries out, using her transformation wand to transform into Sailor Neptune.

 

“Plato Planet Power!” Trista declares, using her sailor transformation wand to turn into Sailor Plato.

 

“Super Moon Crises Power!” Serena and Rini yell out in unison, their transformation brooches open, and they transform into Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Mini-Moon. Darien then transforms into Tuxedo Mask.

 

Happy Child smiles and says, “Well, the gang is all here.”

 

Sailor Moon then yells out, “You think that you can come in, thinking you are better than everyone else, and kill everyone just because you think that are superior to others! Well, I won't let that happen! I'm Sailor Moon, defender of truth and justice!”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon then adds, “And I'm Sailor Mini-Moon!”

Sailor Moon and Sailor Mini-Moon then declare in unison, “And in the name of the moon, we will punish you!”

 

All of the other scouts then declare in unison, “And we will punish you, too!”

 

Happy Child then says, “In super-hero slogans, I've got to admit, even though I hate `heroes', that's pretty good. But time for being impressed is over. Time for action, now!” Happy Child then uses some kind of telekinetic powers to take two trees from the ground, rip them from their roots, turn the trees into huge spikes, and launch them at all of his opponents. Tuxedo Mask and the scouts barely got out of the way.

 

Sailor Venus says, “Whoa. Too close.”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon adds, pretty shaken up, “No kidding.”

 

Sailor Mercury tells everyone, “Watch out, everyone. This `child' is no ordinary child! He has some kind of advanced telekinetic powers!”

 

Happy Child then says, “I knew that the genius of your group can truly comprehend my power.”

 

Sailor Jupiter then declares, “Well, this kid really needs is a good spanking!”

 

Happy Child then declares, “Actually, you are going to need to worry about your precious moon princess! Since she won't reveal her secrets, then I will for her! Listen well, Sailor Moon!” Happy Child then sends a mysterious wave that seemly doesn't do anything at all. The scouts were wondering what Happy Child is up to and they hear Sailor Moon give a scream of pain. When they look at her, Sailor Moon falls to her knees and puts her hands on her ears.

 

“Sailor Moon!” everyone yells out in worry. Tuxedo Mask and the scout go up to Sailor Moon and bend down, looking at her with worry.

 

Tuxedo Mask then asks Sailor Moon, “Sailor Moon, what's wrong?”

 

Sailor Moon yells out, “That sound! My head is splitting! It hurts! Turn it off!”

 

Sailor Mars asks, “Sound? What sound? I don't hear anything.”

 

Luna then yells out, “Don't be fooled scouts!” When the others look at Luna and Atriums, they see them winching in pain.

 

Sailor Venus asks, worriedly, “Luna! Atriums! What's wrong?!”

 

Atriums tells Sailor Venus, “There is a sound coming from her! It's so loud, but somehow, only Luna, Sailor Moon, and I are the only ones that can hear it!”

 

Sailor Uranus then asks, confused, “How is that possible?” Sailor Mercury then activates her visor and scans the area with Happy Child.

 

Sailor Mercury then gasps and exclaims, “There is a sound being produced by Happy Child, but it is at a higher frequency than normal human ears that can pick up. Only animals, with more sensitive ears, can hear this sound.”

 

Sailor Venus then asks, “But how is it that Sailor Moon is hearing this sound?”

 

Tuxedo Mask then declares, “I don't know, but we have to hurry. Sailor Moon is in real pain. Look!” The scouts then look to see, to their horror, blood beginning to come out of Sailor Moon's nose and ears.

 

Sailor Mercury then states, “The sound is also at a high pitch and tone, so much, that blood vessels in their ears and nose are beginning to repute. If we don't stop Happy Child, now, Sailor Moon is in real trouble!”

 

Sailor Jupiter then yells out, “I'll stop him! Supreme Thunder Crash!” Sailor Jupiter then launches a powerful lightning attack at Happy Child.

 

Happy Child then calls out, “Not this time! Can't attack what you can't see!” Happy Child then seemly vanishes into thin air and Sailor Jupiter's attack misses him.

 

Sailor Mars asks, “Where did he go?”

 

Sailor Uranus then declares, “He must be invisible because I can feel still sense his presence in the area.”

 

Happy Child's voice then calls out, “Correct! But don't think that even Sailor Mercury little scanner can find me, I've put a disputation field to mask my position even from her scanner!”

 

Sailor Mercury tries to use her scanner, but she can't find Happy Child, and she yells out, “He's right! I can't locate him!”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon then says, worriedly, “Well, we have to hurry before it is too late! Sailor Moon is extreme pain!” Sailor Moon then bends her head down unable to take the sound much longer, Sailor Moon is ready to go into unconsciousness.

 

But then a voice calls to her, mentally, “Daughter of the Moon, can you hear me?”

 

Sailor Moon then thinks, “That's voice! I remember it! It's Lady Inari!”

 

The voice answers, “That's right, Sailor Moon! It is I, Lady Inari, all mother to the Kitsune, and the one that gave you the jewel that lies deep within you! It is time that you fulfill your destiny, daughter of the moon! Time that I told you, two years ago, has come!”

 

Sailor Moon then asks, mentally, “You mean that these `War Rose Crusaders' are the great evil that you told me about?!”

 

“They are but one element that will forge the ultimate evil, but yes, in a way, you are correct!” Lady Inari responds, telepathically.

 

Sailor Moon then asks Lady Inari, mentally, “How am I supposed to battle if my head is splitting?!”

 

“Don't trust your senses, they will lie to you! Trust your heart and what you feel on the inside! Win this battle, daughter of the moon, greater challenges are to come. . .” Lady Inari tells Sailor Moon before Sailor Moon can't hear her anymore.

 

Sailor Moon thinks, “Trust my heart?! What does she mean by that?! Oh, well, I've got nothing to lose!” Sailor Moon then staggers to her feet, `summons' her Moon kledo scope into her hands, and closes her eyes.

 

Sailor Plato then asks, worriedly and curiously, “Sailor Moon?” Sailor Moon doesn't answer Sailor Plato and tries to focus on her opponent. Somehow, Sailor Moon doesn't know how, but she `feels' where Happy Child is.

 

Sailor Moon then calls out, “Moon Gorgeous Meditation!” Sailor Moon then fires her attack from her Moon Kledo Scope to her right and above and the attack slams into Happy Child, causing him to call out in pain and fall from the sky into a tree.

 

Sailor Neptune, unable to believe her eyes, exclaims, “Sailor Moon got him, but how did she know where he was?!”

 

Happy Child goes into the air, his clothes somewhat torn, and blood cut across his left cheek, and yells out, angrily, “You may have won this round, but this isn't over, Sailor Moon!” Happy Child then teleports away from the battle and Sailor Moon fall to her knees and hold her head.

 

Tuxedo Mask bends down to his beloved and asks her, “Sailor Moon, are you okay?”

 

Sailor Moon gets to her feet and responds, “Yeah, other than major migraine, I will be okay.”

 

Sailor Plato then says, “It would be better if we moved to another location to return to our civilian forms.”

 

Sailor Mars nods her head and says, “Good idea.” Tuxedo Mask and all of the scouts then run over to another part of the part and all of them returned to their civilian forms.

 

Darien then hands Serena a handkerchief and tells her, “Here, Serena, you were bleeding in your ears and nose from Happy Child's attack.

 

Serena takes Darien's handkerchief and responds, “Thanks, Darien.” Serena then wipes off the blood from her ears and nose. Serena looks at it and exclaims, “Gross! Did I bleed that bad?!”

 

Rei then tells Serena, “Yeah, Serena, not kidding! But what I don't get is that how you can hear such high frequency sound that we can't!”

 

Serena shrugs her shoulders and tells Rei, “Beats me! My hearing has been pretty good, but I didn't know its that good!” Serena thinks in her own mind, worriedly, “I hope they buy that story because I know the real reason why!”

 

Rei then says, “I don't get why, Serena, but I know that you are hiding something. Happy Child told us that you have secrets that you've been keeping even from Darien! Now, spill it, Serena!”

 

Serena then exclaims, in a bit of panicky tone, “Rei, look, I don't what that freaky brat think he knows about me, but I don't have any `deep, dark secrets' that I'm keeping from you! Guys, you know me too well!”

 

Lita then states, “Yeah, I believe you, Serena! That rotten little mutant brat was just trying to divide us with his lies!”

 

Rini exclaims, agreeing with Lita, “Yeah!”

 

Mina then states, “Well, I've got to admit that villains have gone to all time low to try to defeat us.”

 

Serena then holds her head in pain and Darien asks, worriedly, “Serena, are you okay?”

 

Serena nods her head and tells her boyfriend, “I'm okay, Darien. Just that brat's attack really has given me a headache.”

 

Amara tells Serena, “Well, I think that it is best that you go home and rest.”

 

Serena nods her head in agreement and says, “Yeah, I will. Later, everyone!” Serena, Luna, and Rini then head back to Serena's home.

 

Rini then says, “Well, I'm glad that I'm heading home. I'm really worried about Diana.” Diana, Luna's and Atriums' own future daughter and Rini's own `guardian cat', had gotten a bit of a fever and became sick.

 

Serena nods her head and says, “Yeah, she didn't look that good. I hope that she's all right.” Luna nods her head in agreement, knowing that its her own future daughter.

 

Meanwhile, back to the other scouts, Rei had a worried look on her face and Ami asks Rei, seeing this look, “Rei, what's the matter with you?”

 

Rei shrugs her shoulders and says, “I don't know, Ami. It's just that I'm getting this feeling that Serena is hiding something that we don't know about and doesn't want to tell us.”

 

Lita tells Rei, “Oh, Rei, you are just being a bit paranoid. But then again, it was weird that Serena heard that high pitched sound that only animals hear and we weren't. I wonder: what's up with that?”

 

Amara says, in her usual tone, “I'm not sure, but I'm getting a feeling that we will find out, soon enough.” However, hearing all of this makes Serena's boyfriend, Darien, even more worried than ever. He really wanted to follow her home, but he knows about Serena's parents and their `deal' about her `relationships', so, as much as he hated to do this, he headed to his own home.

 

Darien thinks, on the meanwhile, “Serena, what aren't you tell us that's so important?! Well, whatever it is, be careful.”

 

(Returning to the Tsukino household; Sometime later)

 

Serena, Rini, and Luna came through the door and Serena closes the door behind the three of them.

 

Serena then calls out, “Mom, we're home!”

 

Mrs. Tsukino then yells out, “Oh, Serena, glad that you're back! Did you and your cousin have a good time with your friends?!”

 

The three of them became pretty nervous, not knowing how to answer, and the Rini answers, “Sure, we had a great time! How's Diana doing?!”

 

Mrs. Tsukino calls out from the kitchen, “The poor little thing had a nasty fever, but its beginning to break down. I'm going to call the vet to get his opinion, but it doesn't like anything serious!”

 

Rini then calls out, “I'm going to go see her!”

 

Mrs. Tsukino then tells Rini, “Okay, she is in your bedroom!”

 

Rini and Luna then go up the stairs and Rini calls out, “Thanks!”

 

Serena then calls to her mother, “Mom, I need to make a call!”

 

Mrs. Tsukino tells Serena, “Okay, dear, but don't take too long, I'm expecting an important call within the hour!”

 

Serena tells his mother, “Thanks!” Serena then goes over to the phone, picks up the receiver, and dials a certain phone number. As the line on the other end starts ringing, Serena thinks, “I wonder how long Zoey has been in England and if she is still there!”

 

When the other end of the line starts ringing, a young teenage girl's voice answers, “Hello, Hanson residence! Zoey speaking!”

 

Serena exclaims over the phone, “Hey, Zoey! It has some time! It's me, Serena!”

 

Zoey's voice calls out over the receiver end of the phone, “Oh, Serena, it has been a while! Good to hear from you!”

 

Serena tells Zoey, over the phone, “It is good to hear from you, too! By the way, how long were you in England?”

Zoey tells Serena, “Oh, Serena, I got back just four months ago.”

 

Serena exclaims, “What?! Why wasn't I told?!”

 

Zoey tells Serena, “Well, you were probably too busy in your new super-hero role as Sailor Moon.”

 

Serena tells Zoey, “Yeah, you are probably right, Zoey. By the way, how are the other girls doing?”

 

Zoey tells Serena, “We have been swamped, lately. There still to be some of those Chimera Predasites that Dren and his gang left behind! We don't know why they are still appearing and it has been two years!”

 

Serena then tells Zoey, seriously over the phone, “Well, I might have a reason why. My team and I have met a new enemy and this enemy seems to know everything about me! Including both super-hero lives that I led so far!”

 

Zoey exclaims, shocked over the phone, “What?! He knew that you were a Mew-Mew as well as Sailor Moon?!”

 

Serena tells Zoey, “No kidding, Zoey! Plus, he wasn't an alien at all! He was some kind of super-powered human being with a grudge against all other `normal' humans.”

 

Zoey tells Serena, over the phone, “Whoa! No way! He was human?!”

 

Serena tells Zoey, “Not an ordinary human, I can tell you, Zoey! Plus, there is something else that I've got to talk about. Zoey, I think that my old powers have fully returned.”

 

Zoey gasps, knowing what Serena means, and states, “Hold on! Elliott and Wesley said that they wouldn't come for three years and it has only been two!”

 

Serena then tells Zoey, “Well, Zoey, you know Elliott and how things `spill his mind'.”

 

Zoey groans in annoyance and says, “Yeah, tell us about it. Okay, Serena, are you heading over?”

 

Serena tells Zoey, “You got it. I can't wait to see Corina, Bridget, Kiki, and Renee, again! By the way, how are they?”

 

Zoey tells Serena, “Same as always, Serena. They haven't changed one bit over the past two years. It is so cool that you are coming over! This will be like `old times' when all six of us were together!”

 

Serena smiles and tells Zoey, “I can't wait, Zoey! And makes sure that Elliott knows that I'm coming, I've got a bone to pick with him. See you tomorrow, Zoey.”

 

Zoey tells Serena, over the phone, “Bye, see you soon.” Serena then hangs up the phone and heads over to the kitchen. However, what Serena didn't know is that Rini was watching and listening the whole time.

 

Rini then thinks, “Huh? I thought that Serena would be calling Darien as usual, but who is this Zoey person? As well as those `Corina, Bridget, Kiki, Renee, and Elliott' people that Serena was talking about with this `Zoey' on the phone? Plus, what does it sound like that Zoey person already knows that Serena is Sailor Moon?! What's going on?!”

 

Inside of the kitchen, Mrs. Tsukino looks at Serena and asks, “Serena, is there something wrong, sweetie?”

 

Serena then tells her mother, in a bit of a nervous tone, “Mom, I'm planning to go on a trip by myself to our old home in the Edo district to visit some friends of mine, is that okay?”

 

Mrs. Tsukino tells Serena, “You will have to talk with your father about it, but I'm sure that it will be okay with him.” Serena smiles and nods her head in approval. However, what they didn't know is that Rini is still listening in. . .

 

(The Next Morning; At the Tokyo Train Station)

 

We find our Moon princess, Serena, at the Tokyo train station by herself and buying herself a ticket to the Edo district of the city. Serena is wearing a bright violet shirt under a yellow summer jacket, black skirt that goes down one-eighth the way to her kneecaps, black see-through stockings that go up to cover her kneecaps, and pure white shoes with a aqua-blue handbag with the same colored strap on her right shoulder.

 

The ticket person gives Serena her ticket and tells her, “Here you go, young lady. One ticket to Edo district.”

 

Serena takes the ticket and tells him, “Thanks.”

 

The ticket person responds, “No problem.”

 

Just then the announcement calls out over the PA system in the train station, “All aboard on train 5 to Edo district, Edo suburbs, and Kyoto. All aboard.”

 

Serena then says, “Oops. That's my train! Later!”

 

The ticket person then says, “Bye!” Serena then runs into the train, gets to a seat, and then Serena's train heads off for its destinations. The other scouts and Darien arrive only to see the last car leave the train station.

 

Lita exclaims, “Man! We were too late!”

 

Darien then asks Rini, “I don't get it, Rini. Why would Serena take a train to the Edo district?”

 

Rini tells Darien, “Serena said that she lived there at some time and that she has some `friends' there.”

 

Mina then asks, “Why would that matter, Rini?”

 

Rini then tells everyone, “I didn't want to worry everyone about this, but when I heard Serena talking over the phone. It seems like this friend knew that she is Sailor Moon.” All of the scouts gasp when Rini said this.

 

Trista then says, “I think what Little Lady is meaning to imply is that these `friends' of Princess Serena might be a key to whatever is happening.”

 

Rei then says, “The only way to find out is to follow Serena.”

 

Ami nods her head in agreement and says, “Right.” As the scouts and Darien prepared to buy tickets for the next train to the Edo district, we go into the train that Serena is in. We find her looking at her Mew-Mew power pendant and her sailor transformation brooch.

 

Serena then sighs in her own mind and thinks, “Why now?! After that last problem with Badiyanu, I hope that we could get on with our lives in one form or another, but now, that `destiny' that Lady Inari is talking about to start. That break was very short! This is the life of a super-heroine! Personally, I keep wishing that my life is that of a normal girl, but I know what's at stake and I will be ready to defend all of my friends, my beloved Darien, and the whole planet, no matter what it takes!” As Serena's train continues to head to Edo, the wheels of destiny continue to turn, but unknown to anyone, a dark shadow appears in the sky and follows Serena's train.

 

A figure inside of the dark shadow says to himself, “So, that's the Princess Serena or Sailor Moon that defeated Happy Child. I've got to say that she is impressive, so far, but let's see how she will do when our game gets even more `challenging'.”

 

Next time in Chapter 2: Reunion and Discovery: When Serena arrives at the Edo district, plenty of old memories `pop up' into her mind, including the day that she and Zoey met. However, reminiscing about the past had to wait, since Serena headed to Café Mew-Mew and reunites with the `old team', the Tokyo Mew-Mews. Once there, Elliott and Wesley, tells Serena about some `new data', which could the new enemy, the War Rose Knights. After giving them what happened in the battle with Happy Child, Elliott and Wesley scan Serena to reveal that her Mew-Mew powers have indeed returned in full and permanently. Elliott then tells Serena that the key to winning this battle might be in the place where the `Soul of the Kitsune', the very core of Serena's powerful Mew-Mew powers might be. When Serena, along with the Mew-Mew team, head off to find this `sacred and ancient temple', two more of the War Rose Knights stand in their way, the powerful Duke and the leader of the War Rose Knight, a man only known as King. And both of them have a `fascination' with our `foxy' Sailor Moon, which means big trouble for our Moon Princess and the Mew-Mews, even more so when Darien and the other sailor scouts arrive! A lot of action, adventure, surprises, and more will be here next time on Sailor Mew-Mew!
