Transformers Fan Fiction ❯ RID: God Generation: CTG ❯ Off limits for Autobots ( Chapter 7 )
Off limits for Autobots
"no… Sideburn! Don't!" Wedge pleads, making the CTG laugh darkly, "what's the matter, hammerite… are you afraid of me?" he teases with a humor only his kind can understand, "I like it when you're afraid… I think I will have some fun with you" Wedge whimpers as Sideburn inches closer to him, "cover your audio receivers, bot" for some reason, Wedge feels himself obeying as if he's under a spell, seeing Sideburn taking a deep breath, no! he's going to hypnotize the others! Wedge draws his breath sharply, watching how the rest of the Autobots freeze in position as Sideburn blows the air through his hollow horns, creating a sound that even reaches into Wedge's audio receivers, but it's not enough to make the orange bulldozer suffer the same fate as his friends: not being able to move, they can look around but their legs and arms just don't respond, making them unable to transform.
"now…" Sideburn says as he turns his attention back to Wedge, noticing the frightened look on the younger bot's face, "Let's have some fun…" Sideburn smiles widely as Wedge turns and runs as fast as he can, not looking back at the CTG.

"now where do you think you're going?" Wedge halts as the voice sounds behind him, he widens his eyes as he looks over a large cliff, a plain stretches out before him, he whirls and frowns as he sees Sideburn grinning devilish at him… in his robot mode.
"you really didn't think that I would let a Hammerite run off like that without saying goodbye, now did you?" he tries to block the mocking voice from entering his audio receivers, taking a step backwards but he feels no ground… he's standing completely at the edge.
"yes, that's right, the road ends here, end of the line" Sideburn steps forward, obviously enjoying the despair of the Autobot, "no! get away from me! Leave me alone!" Wedge looks at him, trying to hide his fear but the dodge viper laughs hard, "you have no choice, do you really think that I will believe you? That I will even listen to you? Maybe if you crawl for me, but I don't think you're smart enough to do that yet" Wedge grits his teeth as Sideburn looks him up and down in a mocking manner, licking his lips.
"oh yes, what to do with you…" the sports car grins, "you know, I should have known you were a hammerite, only a hammerite would be a team leader at such a young age, with so much knowledge of constructions, but now, it seems all that knowledge will be gone" Sideburn smirks as the bulldozer eyes him suspiciously, "but it's not like it has ever been put to good use anyway" Sideburn shrugs, narrowing his eyes as he suddenly gets shoved onto the ground by the build-bot, seeing the other bot lifting his fist to pound but he firmly stops the attack, responding by hitting the bulldozer full under the chin, "you never knew how to fight, you're way too impulsive!" Sideburn growls as he pins the younger bot underneath him, "but you don't need to know, you're dead anyways" Wedge looks up to meet Sideburn's red eyes, his head spins from the blow but he still sees Sideburn lifting his right fist… "damn you! Stay still!" Sideburn scowls as his fist hits the hard ground a hair besides the bulldozer's head, getting an immediate respond by Wedge placing both his hands on Sideburn's chest, forcing all of his strength into the push, ending up in both of them rolling over the ground, clutching to each other while trying to inflict maximum damage until they both frown as a rumbling sound comes from underneath them, and the cliff collapses… sending both of the two bots into a large fall down to the plain.
~*~
"owh…" Wedge painfully crawls up after he had collided with the earth, clutching his head in pain, when will this stop? I'm tired of getting hurt… he whimpers as his thoughts focus on that `other bot'.
"what's the matter? Made a nasty fall?" Sideburn voice sounds, again mocking and sneering, Wedge glances up in confusion, "how…" he whispers.
"I can fly, remember?… I just grow wings and make a safe fall, unlike you… oh, how such a poor little thing you are, to be forced to experience such a heavy mass of pain before I actually finish you off" Wedge shudders as the blue bot walks up to him, grabbing him by the neck and lifting him up into the air, causing Wedge to choke.
"c'mon, you want to fight so much? Why aren't you doing anything now?" Sideburn grins as Wedge closes his eyes, clutching at Sideburns arm in order to find some pressure-spot that would make Sideburn lose his grip, "give it up.. you won't find it" the dark voice snickers as Wedge still tries to draw air, optics going on and off…
"no fun, no, it's going way to fast…" Sideburn grimaces and he throws the bot on the ground, narrowing his eyes as Wedge remains still in a heap, "come on! Wake up!!" Sideburn shouts as he kicks the hammerite in the face, smirking as the kick seems to call Wedge back to conscious.
"Good, you're awake again… I was already afraid that you would no longer play with me, and that would be a shame since we're having so much fun together! Don't you say, Wedge? Go on, say it, we're having lots of fun!" the CTG laughs as he places a foot on the boy's chest, pressing down, "look at me!" he growls as Wedge turns his head to a side, avoiding to look at the CTG but his teeth are clenched and he's making soft, whimpering sounds.
"you're good for nothing" Sideburn looks around in awaiting of a bright idea, anything to… then it hit him and he starts to laugh, noticing that Wedge turns to look at him, confused and afraid of the laughing bot.
"oh yes, that's a brilliant plan" Sideburn removes his foot and takes a few steps backwards, allowing Wedge to stand up, "pull yourself off the ground!" he orders and smiles as Wedge clumsily obeys, and watches him with his green optics.

"I cannot move! What happened?" Rapid Run says through gritted teeth, still trying to move his body but Shara cuts him off, "Sideburn put a spell on us by using his hollow horns to produce some kind of stunning sound, it's a weapon that all Children of the Third Gate posses, they use it to stun their prey" she explains, "we can't break it, it'll only wear off by Sideburn ordering it or getting killed" she fumes, "we have no other choice but to wait till we can move again!" Heavy Load growls furiously, "but what about Wedge! He didn't get spellbound! We must help him in some of way! We have to!" he desperately shouts out.
"how would you plan to do that if you can't move?!" Desertfox replies, "besides, I don't think Sideburn will let us go, he'll probably kill us… he might have already killed Wedge"
"Don't say that!" Grimlock snarls, "he won't really have…"
"Wedge is a hammerite, Sideburn is a CTG, ofcourse he'll kill that bulldozer, they're archenemies!" Ultra Magnus states, "there's no way he'd spare him!"
"Optimus! Do you really think… they're both Autobots!" Aquarius asks confused.
"No Aquarius, they're no Autobots, they are CTG and Hammerite, wearing the Autobot insignia but deep down below, they are still their own factions" Optimus brings the motorcycle down on the right track, being extremely worried about the leader of the build team.
"But… Wedge" Heavy Load starts, not believing that the two youngest… "they always competed against each other, but those were games… until now?"
~*~
Sideburn growls furiously, although he also smiles from admiration; he turns his back on Wedge one time and the bot immediately gets attacked from behind, "sneaky, real sneaky! I must give you credit, Wedge" he says as he crawls back up, looking at the orange bulldozer, "What are you doing!?" he widens his eyes and drops his jaw, watching how Wedge raises his hands to the sky and the ground starts to shake, creating a large gap which splits and red light shines upwards.
"Fuck you…" Sideburn turns his face in an angry sneer, he had been warned back on Cybertron, warned multiple times about the hell, the pit… and the high ranked hammerites who open the gates to it, "you're high ranked…?" he looks confused at Wedge who simply snarls at him, making Sideburn realize that he made a big miscalculation, "oh no…"
"sorry to disappoint you… I'm ranked as a `1st wallbuilder of the Master Builder's apprentice', the highest rank to be achieved by the hammers who construct objects and buildings" Wedge smirks, "well, now… CTG… die, and go to hell, you may leave the dying behind if you wish… but to hell you're going!!" Sideburn gasps as the sky darkens and lightning hits the ground, causing the CTG to jerk up as electricity comes so close to his form that he feels a slight sizzle, seeing the ground crack and tear underneath him.
"no!" Sideburn growls as he lunges as the orange bulldozer, starting to fight with him close by the edge of the large, red-glowing chasm, "I won't go to hell!! I'll send *you* down there instead!" he says as they turn around and around, "no way!" Wedge bites back, all the heavy lifting giving him an advantage in strength, "why won't you give it up! Sideburn, don't be a fool! You cannot win, I'm stronger than you!" he tries for the last time, liquid welling up in the corners of his optics, "I don't want to do this to you!"
"You are not stronger than me!" Sideburn snarls, eyes glowing red in anger, "you are the fool here Wedge!"
Wedge lets his breath escape as he places his feet on Sideburn's abdomen, liquid flowing down his face as he watches Sideburn's left eye glowing more brightly, realizing at once.
"Optical laser Strike!" Wedge quickly uses his legs to launch the CTG backwards, the laser attack cutting into the ground above his head as he comes up to watch Sideburn lose his footing and sliding backwards into the chasm, leaning on his elbows to prevent himself falling further.
"No…" Sideburn gasps as he looks down into the chasm, the wall pressing into his back but he tries not to move, "Wedge… Wedge, please… help me…" he whispers, voice going hoarse as the red light blinds him, "please Wedge, help me!" he pleads, feeling the ground crumble under his weight.
~*~
Optimus suddenly feels his legs and arms moving, and he takes a step forward, looking at the other Autobots as they all come to the discovery that they can move again.
"what happened? We can move… but I don't like it" Sumatran looks at the others, watching Hightower, Heavy Load and Grimlock sharing a quick glance before rushing off, "hey you three! Wait up!" Sumatran yells as she transforms and starts pursuit, desperately trying to keep up with the three large males as they seem to use some kind of warp-system.
"what the!" Sumatran gasps as before her eyes, the ground just closes from a large break, closing down the last remains of an entrance to a different place, she lets her view wander to Heavy Load speeding towards Wedge, she holds her breath as she sees how battered the bulldozer is, quickly making her way while taking a first-aid kit out.
"Wedge! Where's Sideburn?!" Sumatran inquires as she places a machine on the boys chest, looking at the damp traces on his face, like he cried.
"Sideburn… is dead" Wedge whispers, voice hoarse and dry as he looks at the machine repairing his armour, Optimus walking towards him, "how? Where is his body then? How did you defeat him?" he frowns as Wedge looks up at him, "he fell through that chasm, down to the pit, hell… like so many" Wedge stands up as a spacebridge portal opens, silently making his way towards the tunnels but Prowl stops him, "you killed Sideburn? I… I guess you had… no other choice…" the police car looks away and steps to the side, allowing Wedge to walk on.
"I'm sorry…" Wedge looks down to avoid all faces, "I tried to make him stop…" he whispers and walks on, shoulders dropping low and his footsteps heavy.
