A day out in the park

For the rest of the day Christina tried to avoid anyone that she knew especially Vash. But that didn't work. Almost everywhere she went Vash was there. So she decided that she was going to go into the city about 30 miles away. So she went to her room and grabbed a sweater and left a note saying where she was so no one would worry. After she did that she went outside of the huge army type building and took off into the air. When she arrived in the out skirts of the city called Kenai she started walking around town. She looked at he people, the buildings, and much other stuff. Christina was in kind of a daze until she walked in front of a playground in the park. She noticed that there was a small girl crying and sitting alone so Christina slowly walked over there wondering why she was sad. "Hey are you alright?" asked Christina while kneeling down in front of the girl. The little girl looked up. She had blond hair and black eyes. Christina thought she was a cute little kid. "No." answered the little girl. "Why are you so sad?" asked Christina. "No one likes me, and they think I am a freak and no one wants to play with me." Said the little girl. Christina looked back at the others then turned to the little girl. "You know what I will play with you, what is your name?" asked Christina. "My name is Cheyenne and would you really?" asked the little girl. "Well Cheyenne how about we go get something to eat and then we can go to the stables and I can show you how to ride a horse!" Christina said eagerly. "Okay that sounds great." Replied the little girl with the biggest smile. They decided to go eat at a fast food place. As they were eating Christina noticed that the little girl was very skinny and looked malnourished. "So Cheyenne, where is your parents?" asked Christina. Cheyenne looked up and sadly said "I don't have any I live in an orphanage, I ran away today." Christina looked at the little girl. For some reason Christina really liked this girl. When they finished eating they walked to the stables. "Wow look at all the horses." Said Cheyenne in an excited voice. "Ya aren't they pretty here lets go I want to show you something." Said Christina. As they walked in Christina led the little girl to 2 horses in the very back. Christina stood there looking at the 2 horses. One of them was a 15'3 gray dappled Arabian mare and the other was a 16 hand red dun quarter horse gelding. "So which one do you want to ride?" asked Christina. "Umm I want the gray one." Replied Cheyenne looking up at Christina. "Okay then, her name is Tara and the big one is Doc he is my brothers horse. The gray is mine. I have had them ever since I was 6 they were part of a wild herd of horses so that would make them about 15 years old. Wow they sure don't look it." Said Christina while putting halters on them and leading them out of the stalls. Christina showed Cheyenne how to brush the horse and how to saddle it up and put the bridle on, Christina could see the excitement in Cheyenne's eyes. After they were don't Christina helped Cheyenne onto the mare and showed her reining movements. Then Christina got on the red and they took off into the woods. They must have been riding for about 3 hours because by the time they got don't it was 8 pm. "well Cheyenne where is the orphanage I will take you home." "No I don't want to go back! They are mean to me! Please don't take me back! Please!" yelled Cheyenne. "Cheyenne you cant run away from these things. You have to be strong." "But I am only 6 years old. I can't handle this." Replied Cheyenne with tears in her eyes. Christina looked down at her. "Okay how about you come home with me, BUT FIRST we need to go there and tell them you are going to live with me permanently okay?" asked Christina "really! Are you going to adopt me!!" yelled Cheyenne "well I guess I am." Christina mainly told herself. ~Oh boy what am I getting into? ~ Christina asked herself. When they arrive at the orphanage they walked inside and middle aged woman with thin stringy red hair and a cold face walked up to Christina and took the little girls hand and started pulling he away from Christina immediately yelling at the little girl. Christina pulled Cheyenne away from the lady. "Wait I want to adopt her." Yelled Christina. "Really, you want to adopt this little rat. Well I want to tell you she is the devil. She has these powers or something. She needs to be taken out and shot!" yelled the old woman in a cold voice. Christiana put her hands over cheyanne's ears. "I don't care she is not what you say now where are the forms and I will be happy to take her off your hands." Demanded Christina. The cold woman returned with the papers and Christian sat down with Cheyenne in her lap as she filled out the paper work. After she was done the woman looked at the forms "your only 16!" said the woman "yes I am and I am pregnant to and I will need an older sister for my child so have a good day." Said Christina as they walked out of the building. "Okay so I am now officially your mom?" Christina said while mainly telling herself that. "First we need to get you some new clothes." Demanded Christina "ya I have never been clothes shopping before." Replied Cheyenne "well to bad for you I can only afford 2 sets of clothes so make them good okay." "Okay" replied Cheyenne as the walked into a clothing store. After about shopping for a an hour they finally settled on a pair of blue boot cut jeans and a white tank top with a pair of blue and white sneakers. And Cheyenne was wearing a red muscle shirt with a blue sweater over it and a pair of black Capri pants and a pair of black dressy shoes. When they were done Christina looked at her watch "wow we have to go it is already 9 pm." Said Christina as they hurried to the outskirts of town. And headed home. It freaked Cheyenne out a bit that Christina could fly but Christina told her she would show her how later.

When they got home Christina took in a deep breath and walked in preparing for the worst. When she walked in she was greeted bye tons of eyes starring at her it made her fell uncomfortable and she could fell Cheyenne getting a little uneasy also. Christina ran into someone that she was trying to avoid… "Umm Vash hi, how are you." Christina asked him a little nervous. "Oh I am fine so where have you been I have looking all over for you." Asked Vash as Christina slowly pulled Cheyenne in front of her showing Vash. Vash's eyes widened. "Where did she come from?" asked Vash "umm well uu Vash I kind of adopted her." Replied Christina. "Wow that is different." "Well Vash I adopted her because it was horrible for her and she is such a sweet girl and.." Christina stopped "and what Chris?" Vash asked her a calm comforting voice as he moved behind her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "and I need someone to help me with ..with the baby were having." Vash froze. His eyes got wide. "umm Christina are you saying what I think your saying?" Vash asked her "yes I am Vash I am pregnant with your child." Christina told him. "wow this is news I don't hear everyday. So I guess that I am going to be a dad. Wow I am going to be a dad. Hmm so how are w going to tell the others?" "I don't know Vash." Replied Christina. Vash looked down at the little girl. He kneeled down in front of her and smiled. "hi my name is Vash whats yours?" asked Vash "my name is Cheyenne." "wow that is a pretty name." "thank you." Said Cheyenne shyly. Vash stood up and for some reason he felt like grabbing Christina's hand and walking he ladies bask to their room. When they reached the room no one was in it so Christina opened the closet and pulled out another blanket and pillow. Then she put them on her bed and turned around to see Vash and Christina playing rock paper scissors. Christina smiled "okay Cheyenne why don't you go take a bath and get cleaned up." Said Christina. Cheyenne walked into the bathroom and shut the door. Christina stood in the middle of the room just looking in no particular place. When suddenly a pair of strong arms wrapped them selves around Christina's waist. And then Vash began kissing her neck. "Vash not tonight there is a little girl present." Said Christina leaning back into him. "I know I just anted to kiss you and hold you." Said Vash when suddenly chi-chi, Goku, Videl, Bulma, and Vageta walked in laughing but they stopped when they saw Vash and Christina who immediately separated. "I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! Yelled Vageta out victoriously. "so Vash when did this happen honey?" asked Bulma excited. Vash looked at Christina who was blushing like crazy. "umm about a couple days ago." Vash said quietly. Christina decided that she should tell them right now "hey I have to tell you all something." Said Christina. Vash looked at her and smiled "no we have something to tell you." Replied Vash. Christina tried to spit it out but couldn't so Vash wrapped his arms around her waist and put his hands on her stomached. "Christina's pregnant." Vash simply said with pride in his voice.
