Chapter 2-A second Meeting
Vash and Wolfwood where hanging from the window, just below the roof.
"Oye! Where'd they go!?"One of the bounty hunters gasped.
"Its like hunting a freaking ghost!" Dameon growled.
"People! he isnt...wasnt, Vash the Stampede!" Meryl sighed.
"He wasnt?" Nina questioned, looking at her long time friend.
"Yes he was!"Millie protested,"How else could he do that..that..disappearing act?"
"Pure luck,"Nina said, reading Meryls mind,"Meryl knows what she's talking about."
"Finally! Someone that agrees with me,"Meryl smiled.
"But,"Kora began.
"Come on! WE both have a job to do,"Meryl said,"Lets find Vash the Stampede! He couldnt have gone far." Everyone (including the bounty hunters) ran off the roof. Wolfwood sighed in relief.
"We're safe." He sighed,"That was close."
"Come on,"Vash said, pulling himself through the window,"We have to get out of here."
"Right,"Wolfwood nodded, hoisting his cross onto his shoulder,"After you."

Meryl, Millie, Nina and Kora walked through town, talking.
"He cant still be in this town,"Meryl said.
"Yeah, he must have ran by now," Nina nodded.
"there are two cities from here," Kora said,"North and South...."
"Felnarl and Little Arkansas!" Millie piped in.
"Well..should we split up?"Nina asked.
"It would be best,"Meryl nodded,"We will take Felnarl, You can go to Little Arkansas."
"Alright,"Nina nodded,"Get any word, and send it imediatly."

Vash and Wolfwood entered Little Arkansas.
"Will they find us here?"Vash whimpered, still slightly freaked from the near death encounter.
"Im not sure....since they now you were in May, they have two choices of were you may be,"Wolfwood said.
"Its so hard being me,"Vash said dramaticly.
"Yeah yeah,"Wolfwood snorted,"Why dont we get a drink?"

Nina and Kora arrived in the town late that night. The five moons where high in the sky.
"Everyone is gone.."Kora said,"All is quiet.."Suddenly, they heard a loud shout and a gun fire. They ran down the street and turned the corner. They saw the saloon all lit up, and people inside.
"Lets see whats going on."Nina said and entered the bar.. There were men everywhere, high as a kite. Unconcious bodies where sprawled on the floor, and the twins stepped over them in disgust.
"Fill 'er up Gramaw!"Vash said, swinging his mug infront of the female bartender in a drunken daze.She hit him over the head with a mug,"I mean, Fill 'er up, Miss, if you wouldint mind."
"Thats better,"She said, pouring him some more wild turkey.
"Hey look! Its Vash the Stampede!"Kora said.
"No Kora, Meryl already told you,"She sighed,"That's not him."
"Thats enough, man,"Wolfwood said, taking the alcohol from his drunken friend.
"Wulfwud,"He slurred,"Give it back!"
"This is disgusting,"Nina sighed,"Lets leave.....Kora?"
"Mmm! Whats this?" She questioned, snatching the drink from Wolfwood and sipping it.
"No! Dont!"Nina snapped, grabbing the mug.
"Lookie! Its those...girls..."Vash said, still drunk,"Who are yous anywayses?"
"Im Nina Hangfire, a reporter for The Satellite,"Nina said, bowing slightly.
"And Im Kora Hangfire,"She said," Also a reporter."
"Coolies," Vash said," Are you guyses sisters?"
"yes, now you need some rest,"Wolfwood sighed.
"What are you doin so far frum Bernardelli?" Vash asked (The Satellite HQ is located in Bernardelli).
"We are to find Vash the Stampede, and following him, 24/7,"Nina explained.
"Yeah, so we will see the news as it happens."Kora added.
"24/7!?" Vash gasped, turning sober extremely fast.
"Yes...is something wrong?"Nina asked.
"No..."He said. Another man fell, drunk and unconcious.
"Thats it!"The bartender snapped,"OUT!!!!!" The group ran out of the bar, and into the night.
"Well, we need to get some rest,"Nina said,"It was nice meeting you again...I think."
"yes, same here,"Wolfwood said,"Where are you staying?"
"Most likely that hotel,"Kora said, pointing to the Inn down the street.
"Yeah, we'll be staying there too.."Vash nodded,"Maybe we will run into each other in the morning?"
"Yeah,"Nina smiled,"Ah...good night."

Nina stretched out in her bed, wearing only a long collared shirt.
"Good night sis,"Kora said, curling up in her bed.
"Good night,"Nina said, clicking off the light and turning on her side. She was about to fall asleep when a gun shot fired.
"what was that!?"Kora whimpered, sitting up quickly.
"Im not sure," Nina said, looking out the window. She saw the silouhette of a tall man with some red clothing.
"I've got you now, Vash the Stampede," A man laughed meniacly, waving a smoking gun in the air.
"Its him,"Nina gasped,"Quickly Kora! Get dressed!!!!!!"
