Butterfly

The butterfly flies with its brother
Satisfied with its love
But seeing the red geraniums
It quickly leaves its kind

Drunk in the smell and the beauty
The butterfly gets caught in the spider's web
Entangled in invisible threads
The butterfly barely escapes

The geranium eventually wilts
But leaves its scent behind
Never forgetting the scent
The butterfly seeks the flower

The butterfly is caught in more webs
Until its wings become tattered
But it still refuses to return
To the brother it once loved

Now blinded by the spiders
Who weave invisible webs
