Trigun Fan Fiction ❯ Delicate Butterfly ❯ New you. ( Chapter 6 )
"W-were am I?"
"In your room,"
Aerith's eyes' fluttered open. Her vision was a little blurry but she could still see. A strike of pain hit her on her arm. She looked to see a very, very bad bruise on her arm were the shot was.
"Who's in here with me?" she asked sleepily.
"Legato," a man replied calmly. Aerith quickly sat up and looked around the room.
Hold on…something isn't right here…
Aerith slid her feet off the bed and stood up. She was higher off the ground.
Then looking to one side, she saw a tall mirror, and walked to it. She looked into it.
"Oh dear God," she whispered. What she saw was not a small little girl, but a slender young woman, who by the way, was only wearing a small white see-through dress.
"Is that me?" she lifted her hand to touch her face. It was her alright. She was gorgeous. Long slender legs, elegant face, round breasts, curved hips, everything. But her hair, her hair was shockingly long. It reached to her ankles. She ran a hand thought it and was surprised to feel it was silky soft.
"What happened to me? Why do I look like I'm 20?" she whispered. But needless to say, she liked what she saw in the mirror.
She stared at her face and smiled when she saw a resemblance to Vash's face. She could fairly make out a tiny mole under her right turquoise eye. She was honored to have Vash's eyes but was upset to have inherited Knives' white-blond hair.
Why Knives? I whish Vash was my real papa…
A pair of strong arms moved over Aerith's shoulders from behind and gently wrapped in front of her. She jumped when she then felt soft lips brush against her collar bone. She tried to turn her head but a hand crept and held her chin so that her head wouldn't move.
Duh Aerith…the mirror…
She looked into the mirror and made her skin crawl. It was Legato. He was wearing an outfit she'd never seen before; wearing a white trench coat with spikes on one shoulder and a human skull on the other. Aerith also noticed that he was wearing a nice skin-tight turtle-neck black shirt that went with his gray pants.
"Sleep well?" he asked seductively in her ear. Aerith made a slight wheezing noise before she replied.
"Yes, thank you. Well…," she tried to wriggle out of his grasp, but, of course, was futile. Legato gently nuzzled her neck trying to distract her from his ever-so-fast growing claw-like nails.
Ack! Don't do that! Stop with the nuzzling! Your freak'n me out here…Aerith whined in her head. Legato with his power to hear what one is thinking started to nibble on her ear and then dragged his tongue down half way down her neck.
Don't do that! Okay party's over! Time to go!
"Mr. Legato, let me go," Aerith said in a firm yet polite tone. She tried to pry his arms off her with her hands but stopped to see ten long black claws resting on her. Her eyes widened.
Jesus Christ…have mercy!
Aerith then had an idea.
"Byeee!" she said as she slid down through Legato's arms and pulled herself up about 4 feet away from him. Legato put his hands down and just smiled.
What's with all the smiling? Ack!
Aerith took to steps back and hitched a thumb over her shoulder.
"I'm going to leave now to see Kn…er…my father,"
Legato casually lifted a hand. His middle claw was just inches away from her nose.
"Little girl,"
Aerith was silent.
"No thought or feeling is gone unnoticed around me. My will power to read and control minds could lead to death…," Legato savored the look on Aerith's face…total horror.
"But to think I could kill every man, woman, and child in this town in a blink of an eye if I wanted to…the power of death is intoxicating,"
Aerith wanted to run, run as fast as she could to the loving arms of Vash and Meryl. But instead, ran out the door. Legato didn't even bother to go after her; he'd find her either way.
~~Outside a random hotel~~
Aerith came running out the front doors. She kept up her running until the hotel was out of sight then she stopped.
"Oh…my…god," she made the sign of the cross.
She felt a sting on her chest and looked down.
Damn bastard…
There was a deep cut on her chest. It was bleeding pretty good.
Looking around, she found herself in the middle of the town. Vulnerable in a small white dress for any guy who's looking for a good time. That god it was daylight.
What she would do for a nice pair of pants and a T-shirt. A hair tie would do too. She looked like some sort of siren and people were looking. But all that was blown away when she herd an all to familiar voice.
"WOW,"
Aerith turned to see Vash standing a good 20 feet away from her, staring at her.
Meryl, Milly, and Nicholas froze. They knew what he might be looking at.
Aerith just stood there. She was blushing like mad. Her papa was gushing at her beauty. She straightened as he ran over to her.
She looks familiar…
"Hello there!" he greeted her. Aerith was confused. He didn't recognize her?
"Hello," she replied with a giggle. Milly and Meryl grabbed one of his shoulders and pulled him behind them to see this pretty girl.
"Were sorry! Did he disturb you?" Meryl asked her.
I know this girl from somewhere…
Milly just sat there nodding her head in apology.
"You guys…don't recognize me?" Aerith asked them all. Nicholas looked her up and down. She did look familiar in a spooky way.
"No,"
"Nope,"
"Sorry,"
"Not really,"
Aerith saw thing coming. She took a deep breath.
"Papa, mama, Milly, Nicholas. I'm Aerith,"
Silence.
"Oh my god!" Meryl said as she finally recognized her face. Vash did too.
"I know! She looks like me!" Milly, Nicholas, and Meryl hit Vash upside the head while Aerith had a big sweat drop.
