Domonice T.C. stood waiting in line for some a soda at the local theater. Alone again. After her best friend, Legato Bluesummers, had left the gung-ho-guns. He and the gun-ho-guns were the only people that had ever excepted her. Them and of course Knives. Her ability didn't matter to anyone else. She could move as fast as light yet would never have her second eye back. It was shot out in a gun fight several years ago. Finally it was her turn to order. "Legato?" Her voice came out shaky and broken. The man she had spoken to turned around. "Dominice?" he replied in a horse voice. Her eyes widened. It was the an that had been arrested two years ago. In a theater? "What are you doing here?' she found herself asking. "Community service . What do u want to order?" "A small coke" he turned around and came back with a drink. "Here, it on the house." "Thanks, thanks a lot. Bye" "Bye". She turned and to leave the building. Right as she walked out the door a shot rang out. `So that was knives I passed on the way out' she thought to herself while walking away.
