a/n: I'd like to note that I am, for the most part, instinctually against Midvalley or Legato rape fics. I don't see that in Legato's character. Nor do I see how Midvalley as Legato's mindless little slave/ Legato's rape doll come into play. Midvalley, for the most part, looks damn happy to *me* when he's around Legato. I know that some of that could come from the bits and pieces I've read of the Manga, but I'm mainly an Anime-timeline writer, myself…. This is my exception to the afformentioned rule. I do believe that things such as this could have happened. Legato has bad days just like anyone else, and Legato on a bad day, I believe, would be a very scary thing. *shivers* Anyway, I do believe very much that Midvalley loves Legato, and that Legato has at least a great deal of caring for Midvalley, even if I can never see it in his character to admit to such things….Legato? Love anyone but Knives? You *must* be joking… ^^;;; *giggle* AAAAAAAnyway, yeah. That's my $1.50 on the topic. ^^;

As I said, I'm not sure if I like the way the songs fit in. I *do* believe the songs very much fit the characters, but I'm not sure if I like the way they are inserted into the story line. I apologize for the short little interlude and one-liner last chapter….I wanted the songs to define the chapters, and with the way I set it up, one song per chapter, this is the way it worked out…sorry if that irritates anyone… u.u

I guess it is, as they say: You're your own worst critic. Ah well. Comments and critiques are welcome. Flames will be disregarded.

Later note: The most fitting line just played on the song I'm listening to, so I'll include it here at the bottom of the fic: "Fueling obssession that borders psychosis."
