Ryo walked in the big two story house and sat her keys on the counter. She sat down on her bed and just relaxed. she looked up at the selling and before she knew it she fell asleep.

Her Dream

She's in a wide open space, with endless light surrounding her, and in the distance there is a figure, as she walks closer and closer, the figure starts to take shape, the shape of a person she didn't realize it but now she was running towards the person and she grew close enough to make them out, it was the man she met today. It was Vash, Vash the stampede. He had his back turned against her but she knew it was him from his red over coat and his blonde, spiky hair. By now they were only a couple of inches away she reached her hand out to touch his shoulder as she was stretching her arm out he suddenly turned, now she could see his face. He had a concerned look on, but then it grew to a smile. The smile she had seen him make earlier that day. All of the sudden he went to put his arms on her shoulders, she was surprised, but didn't try to break free instead she wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her head in his chest, she felt so safe in his arms. He loosened from the hug put his hand under her chin and gently raised her head so they could see each others faces. Vash slowly moved towards Ryo's face, as soon as she knew what he was doing she met him half way and they kissed. Vash slowly moved his hands from her shoulders to her waist. That moment seemed to go on forever. He backed away from their kiss and said, "I have to go now." Ryo looked so confused, " Don't follow me. I will be back soon, I wont let you get hurt."

"What are you talking about? I'm not letting you go alone, I'm coming with you.. . "

"Don't be stupid, you'll be killed, now stay here," Vash said in a tone that frightened Ryo. He realized he scared her and said in a soft sweet voice, "I will be back, I will come back for you," and with that he was gone along with that warm safe feeling Ryo once had.

End of dream

There was a sudden knock at the door. Ryo sat up in her bed, she was crying and thought to herself, how could I have such strong feeling for some guy I just meet. She ran to the door and opened it, in the back of her mind hoping it was Vash, and panicked at the site of who it was, legato, she slammed the door in his face and ran to the other side of the room grabbing her gun. "What a bother, so that's how were going to play?" he said as he broke the door knob with the handle of his gun. "Hello Ryo, my you still look so beautiful" he snickered "what the hell do you want." She snapped holding up her gun. "Well, what strong language for such a lovely girl. I think you know that gun wont work on me." As he used his mind and thru the gun across the room. "Knives want to see you" he said. "You can just tell Knives I'm not coming back, I've had enough of his crap." She said. " Stupid girl, well, I'm not a messenger, I'm a delivery boy so your just going to have to come with me." He said as he walked towards her, she went to throw the chair at him but he batted it away with ease, hitting many other things and knocking them over. He grabbed her by her arm and pulled her close. "To bad you belong to Knives, I could have some fun with you." He said as he looked into her eyes, his eyes looked so cold "I belong to no one!" Ryo said struggling to get free. "Oh, by the way were is Vash, I know you were with him at the dinner?" he asked as he glanced around the room. "He should be here any minuet" which was a lie but she thought it would scare him and he would leave. "Really!?! Well, to bad we won't be here to greet him, we can leave a note for him, don't want to be rude." He smiled at her and Ryo looked at him worried. "Now don't be sad. You'll see him again, just before his death." He threw his head back in laughter.

Later on, Vash was walking and stopped right outside Ryo's house "This is it, wow I found it." He said grinning and walked up to the door and noticed the handle was broken. He frowned, pulled out his gun, and cautiously walked in. he looked around and couldn't see anything soon he found a light switch and flicked it on and saw the destruction the chair the gun and all the other objects that were scattered on the floor. he walked over to the kitchen and saw a note on the fridge. it read:

I have your little girl friend if you

want to see her again then come and

face your fears and see your brother

he'll be at.. . .

third city July

I think you know where that is and if

you don't come Ryo will die.

"Damn you Knives" Vash said as has he punched a wall. "I knew I shouldn't have left her. Its all my fault now I will probably lose her to."
